Mark Kelly, Bargain-Hunting BS Artist

A little follow-up on Mark Kelly, who has been attempting to ride sympathy for his wounded wife and governmedia anti-gun hype to a powerful position in politics. Just as Pete Townshend was caught collecting kiddy porn for supposed research purposes, Kelly bought an AR-15 (along with a .45 pistol) allegedly to show how unacceptably easy it is to buy scary-looking deer rifles with “high capacity” magazines. It is becoming ever more obvious that Kelly’s actual motive was to lay hands on an AR-15 before his fellow liberal tyrants make them illegal. Breitbart asks,

If Kelly’s goal was to show how easy the background check system really is, why didn’t he buy a new “assault rifle” so he could take possession of it immediately, thereby allowing him to finish the background check on [the] day he originally walked into the store — March 5?

Instead he got a deal on a used AR-15, which requires a 20-day waiting period before he can take possession of the rifle.

Kelly may look more like a shaved gerbil, but I smell a rat.

She was kind of hot till that rat POS loughner went all Glock on her. She should have had a weapon of her own to return fire with. Our world class gun shop here has a big sign on the ammo shelf with a magnum pointing saying we shoot back, a loaded stainless steel .357 and loaded Remington 870 sit beneath the sign. Thank you God for this wonderful red state.

  • Skyfall

Hey there, Mr. Astronaut Kelly, looks like you are the same as the rest of us ignorant, violent “extremists” clinging to our guns!

What a vile piece of sh*t that guy is. Doing everything he can, including using his brain-damaged wife as a prop to make sure “extremist Tea Party” types don’t have access to a weapon that could repel a rogue government assault, but when it comes to HIM, different story. Even then, he can’t man-up and admit it…noooo, he was “buying it for research”. Uh huh.

There is nothing…NOTHING…worse than a progressive.

Too bad you’ll never hear about this on the evening news.

The thing about gerbils is you never know where they’ve been.

  • Ricardo Gere’s Urban Legend

    Did someone say gerbil?

  • cesspool culture

gerbilling (sometimes referred to as gerbil stuffing) is the practice, most often attributed to gay men, of inserting a live rodent into one’s rectum (or that of a partner) for erotic pleasure.

Question is, is the gerbil to blame? I have a feeling PETA won’t be around to answer that one..

Sounds like a certain member to “The Who” who was caught “researching” child porn online..

[..and got away with it] since he is a lib.

And they DEMAND to be treated as “normal”. Right.
Look up “pervert” in the dictionary.
    Where’s PETA on this?

  • James McEnanly

Considering what he had to go through to get his previous job, a background check should be no problem for him.
However, should we be concerned that every third SWAT team member and TSA agent looks exactly like him?

The progs have ALL the power right now. Gun rights will be suspended, speech will follow soon thereafter. Obama is beginning to unleash his plans, and you’ll see it when he hits Jerusalem, or VERY shortly afterwards.

This is not a power that can be stopped by legislation or votes or anything else at the moment. It will ultimately fail, but for now it’s unstoppable.

When confronted, he said he was going to give the AR-15 he bought to another person….felony #1…that’s considered being a “straw purchaser.” On the form he filled out when buying the gun he had to state he was purchasing the gun for himself. If he did sign he was buying the gun for himself, but intended to give the gun away, then he lied on the form…felony #2.

  • Jimbo

Let me get this straight – to a liberal, a “background check” requires a gerbil?

  • Doug

Funny I always thought this was Mark Kelly.

There is no basis or model or precedent whatsoever for liberal morality.

Therefore, anyone who doesn’t believe that everything a liberal says or does, isn’t a lie, is a complete fool.

And there are many liberals today.

It is illegal to hunt deer with an AR-15, as you would likely only wound the animal, which would run off, possibly suffering a long, cruel death, and you would never find the carcass, so no meat.

An AR-15 is simply a low caliber, semi automatic, rifle, which has a detachable magazine capacity of 5 rounds and up (typically 30 rounds).

Any legitimate deer rifle can do exponentially more damage than an AR-15, which is like a pop gun by comparison.

I don’t thing gerbils are allowed to buy guns, or have the cash to do so.

  • Jimbo

InSane – they come in different calibers. And for small species, like whitetail, a .223 is a good FAST round.

  • Mr Evilwrench

I’d still want one in 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC for deer. Unfortunately we have some weird rifle hunting laws here, so you’d probably wind up with .458 SOCOM, though I’m not sure about the case length.

Mark Kelly said in Congressional testimony he wants to have a discussion on the “lethality” of certain firearms.
Are you now here to claim that Kelly only wants to ban the LEAST lethal firearms ?
Or are you begging that we at least sacrifice one firearm to legitimize the liberal gun grabbing gods ?

LEGAL FIREARMS (INCLUDES HANDGUNS) FOR BIG GAME
    • It is at least .220 caliber and has center fire ignition; It is loaded only with single projectile ammunition; The projectile used has a soft point or is an expanding bullet type;*
    _______
A .223 would work fine in heavily wooded arias/closer range.
An AR would be great for a lot of walking
For whitetail deer I would recommend hollow points
This is all moot to me, this aria being zoned shotgun only

“The preparations for Hate Week were in full swing, and the staffs of all the Ministries were working overtime. Processions, meetings, military parades, lectures, waxworks, displays, film shows, telescreen programmes all had to be organized; stands had to be erected, effigies built, slogans coined, songs written, rumours circulated, photographs faked..”.

    ____________

All true, which is the reason that once the deadly assault rifles are banned, the deer-hunting sniper rifles will be next.

An AR-15 is particularly suited for women, where the mild recoil is well tolerated by them. For close quarters fighting, they are apparently far more deadly than fighting with a hand gun.

And, due to the caliber, some people might need the 30 round magazine. If I were a black living in the south, and the KKK showed up, I’d want all the 30 round magazines I could lay my hands on.

  • trace

And me being a cracka living in close proximity to the hood, and if the urban yoots started any sort of shenanigans , like say, a protest about one of their own getting bugeled up to jesus because he pointed a gun at two U/C cops, and said yoots were coming my way, i would use up any and all 30 round mags i had, and then scale back to the 20 round version.

  • Boon Flintlock

@Sam Adams a forend grip reduces recoil even more. The AR-15 is an accuracy and marksmanship weapon not a spray and pray weapon for a raw recruit from outer Mongolia like the AK-47.
