A little follow-up on Mark Kelly, who has been attempting to ride sympathy for his wounded wife and governmedia anti-gun hype to a powerful position in politics. Just as Pete Townshend was caught collecting kiddy porn for supposed research purposes, Kelly bought an AR-15 (along with a .45 pistol) allegedly to show how unacceptably easy it is to buy scary-looking deer rifles with “high capacity” magazines. It is becoming ever more obvious that Kelly’s actual motive was to lay hands on an AR-15 before his fellow liberal tyrants make them illegal. Breitbart asks,
If Kelly’s goal was to show how easy the background check system really is, why didn’t he buy a new “assault rifle” so he could take possession of it immediately, thereby allowing him to finish the background check on [the] day he originally walked into the store — March 5?
Instead he got a deal on a used AR-15, which requires a 20-day waiting period before he can take possession of the rifle.
Kelly may look more like a shaved gerbil, but I smell a rat.
On a tip from G. Fox.
