Getting shot by a maniacal moonbat is tragic, but it does not warrant using public sympathy as leverage for a shamelessly exploitative attack on our Second Amendment rights, or to advance the apparent political ambitions of an opportunistic husband — and nothing warrants wallowing in trademark liberal hypocrisy. On a personal, human level I feel bad for her. Getting shot in the brain is horrible.

Just remember, that nutcase who shot her wouldn’t have had legal access to his weapon, had he been arrested, and his mental status determined, long before he killing others, and wounding Giffords. Loughner had been making death threats repeatedly, yet Sheriff Dupe-nik failed in his duties to protect the public.
The law only works when it is enforced properly.

What really bothers about Gabby Giffords is that she knows that the guy who shot her had been upset with HER for years and that he had attended her functions and asked her questions and didn’t like her answers. She KNOWS this and she has not only let Sarah Palin continue to be blamed for this, she and her creepy husband went on ABC and complained to Dianne Sawyer that Sarah Palin never apologized to THEM. Are you kidding me?? There is no reason for Sarah Palin to apologize to them, because she had absolutely nothing to do with the shooting! The shooter probably didn’t even know who she was.
It’s obvious to me that Gabby and her husband cozied up to Obama and sold their souls in turn for something. I don’t know what they got out of the deal, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mark Kelly in a new position soon, working for Obama.
