Sewage Pipe Hotel Rooms

At the rate regulation is expanding, soon we will be unable to construct any new dwellings at all — not that we would be able to afford them anyway with Big Government consuming more wealth than we can create. Fortunately moonbats have anticipated the housing shortage this is likely to create, and proudly present yet another architectural breakthrough. Rather than oppressing the environment by building new structures, we can just live in drainage pipes:

Tubehotel is a company that truly knows how to come up with crazy ideas that just might work. It’s basically about drainage tubes converted into a bunch of hotel rooms in which you can get a whole new traveling experience to add to your collection.

If you ever stay in one, try not to think about what went through the tube before it became a hotel room.

Just hope no one kicks the chocks out from under the bottom ‘rooms’. They should name it the ‘Motel Sicks’.

  3. Winston Smith says:

Put these things on the Whitehouse lawn and let the Obama and Biden families live in them for the remainder of their reign of terror.

Living in sewer lines shouldn’t be a stretch for liberals.

Sounds like a pipe dream to me.

  8. Jodie says:

Maybe someone was hittin’ on a pipe when they came up with the idea.

Aside from the slightly annoying “space we take up in the physical world” environmental spiel in the article this looks like a good, quirky, low cost business idea. You could create a motel based on these (maybe slightly longer versions with a v.small bathroom in rather than a shower block they all use) at very low cost and provide a reasonable service at a reasonable price. The tubes aren’t recycled but they are a standard, and very cheap, industrial product.

I like this site but I think this article is a bit misguided.

Good point. Such a low cost, low rent motel would only have to charge half the hourly rate of the others.

If this works, more power to them.
Wonder if they are affiliated with these guys:

You’re right AC. Maybe they could name it the Pimpin’ and Pokin’ Motel.

    Like totally tubular, dude.

This might be the answer to section 8 housing. Just saying….

I did not follow the link..no time. If the “rooms” are cheap, that is a great idea. I often have wished for a place to rent with just a bed and a bath. Small but cheap, where I could save money. Funny beard guy from the last election was right: The rent is too d@mn high!

Inspired by the Japanese “coffin” hotel rooms, I’ll say.

The site pictures show them IN THE OPEN where they will be heated by the sun. Very uncomfortable, even at night. The set-up in the pictures looks like a hippie commune rather than a motel, not very inviting.

The “coffin” rooms in Japan were invented because of limited space; here, they are an UNNESSISARY REGRESSIVE FAD

  17. AC says:

Well of course it will be hot, enviromoonbats need the heat to cultivate that authentic smell of sustainability.

Most of obamas supporters live in sewers they certianly talk sewer talk

    Truly Valhalla for the hippie.

    To Sinister 66
The homes you showed looked a little more livable than the sewer pipes. The missile silo has been refinished well, and the underground houses look pretty good too.

    Please flush.

  22. T says:

The Homeless have been living in them for years.

  23. JTW says:

@James: the picture shown here is of a planned motel/hotel, not permanent residences.

Can’t compare the two except in general concept of reusing abandoned architecture or materials for other purposes.

Who knows, it could well work. So much cancelled construction over the last few years, there must be massive amounts of these drainage pipes built but never put to use. Stack them up in places where there’s a need for cheap motels, finish them up with something to act as a roof over the entire structure (metal sheeting can do, it’s just to keep the sun and rain off), and you could well have all that’s needed for a highway truckstop.

Did ya ever notice all these libtard housing ideas seem to offer NO privacy/ security? I’m left to assume rape and robbery are an accepted standard of the libtard future.
