Convicted Terrorist Kathy Boudin Teaches at Columbia University

Obama friend and mentor Bill Ayers and his sociopathic bride aren’t the only Weather Underground terrorists to find comfortable homes in academia:

Former Weather Underground radical Kathy Boudin — who spent 22 years in prison for an armored-car robbery that killed two cops and a Brinks guard — now holds a prestigious adjunct professorship at Columbia University’s School of Social Work, The Post has learned.

Boudin, 69, this year won another academic laurel — being named the Sheinberg Scholar-in-Residence at NYU Law School, where last month she gave a lecture on “the politics of parole and re-entry.”

Another violent communist who ought to be in prison also enlightens the students at this extravagantly expensive Ivy League school:

One Friday, a criminal-justice conference at the school will feature keynote address by Angela Davis, another infamous radical, and later this month Boudin is scheduled to speak at Columbia Law School’s conference on child and family advocacy.

Bullet points on Angela Davis:

• Communist professor at the University of California’s Santa Cruz campus
• Recipient of the Lenin “Peace Prize” from the police state of East Germany in 1979
• Provided an arsenal of weapons to Black Panthers who used them to kill a Marin County judge in a failed attempt to free Davis’ imprisoned lover, Black Panther murderer George Jackson
• Leader of a movement to free all criminals who are minorities claiming that they are political prisoners of the racist United States

A sawed-off shotgun owned by Angela Davis was used to blow off Judge Harold Haley’s head. Here’s how she escaped justice:

Following the announcement of the verdict that acquitted Davis, one juror faced news cameras and gave a revolutionary’s clenched-fist salute.

O.J. wasn’t the first enemy of society to benefit from jury nullification.

What kind of sick lunatics would want criminal scum like Kathy Boudin, Angela Davis, Bill Ayers, et al. educating young Americans? The same kind who would want Ayers’s protégé Obama running the country.

Once again the fear of learning

If you are not a fan of what she is teaching, don’t take the class (HA! as if any of you were remotely the ‘education’ type)… but asI often try to point out to people, the whole point of learning is to think in new ways about things you haven’t considered before.

Background sketchy? You bet. Does that therefore mean she has no wisdom to impart? Of course not. I took a class from a genuine Red Book-Chairman Mao communist in my economics department. Was a helluva interesting topic. Lots of great questions asked and discussed, lots of interesting discussion… did it turn us all into communists? Of course not. But we learned stuff.

You are all so incredibly afraid of anything that you aren’t already in favor of. You hate things you don’t understand, and you don’t understand anything at all.

Not a great way to go through life. But, to be fair, this is why you keep losing elections. The younger, more educated generation(s) are unlikely to pretend that thinking is a bad thing, no matter what you were raised to believe.

  • Comrade J

Murderers and butchers have always caused non stop drooling for the degressives. That is until they turned on the libtarded sheepies themselves (which always happens).

Nothing surprising here. You can see the tortured idiocy of one libtard, who is of the conviction Ad Hominem makes him/her look supah-dupah smart, right above.

Anyway, it is good to expose these monsters. You must know where they are and what they do. Prepare accordingly.

  • StanInTexas

A teacher who is against Abortion, or tells the truth about Joe McCarthy would be banned from college campuses all over the country, HICK.

How many Conservatives get invited to speak at Columbia? What happens to the extremely few that do?

Do not lecture us on being afraid to learn. It is your side that routinely tries to silence any viewpoint that does not neatly fit your orthodoxy du jour!

Communists teaching economics? Wow…look how well communist economics have turned out. NoKo’s starve in the dark. The Soviet Union bankrupted. Communism is the economics of shortages and suffering.

Revolutionaries, quite simply, can’t/won’t learn from the past. These radicals simply want to further restrict our freedoms.

Of course, the more we have embraced their theories, the worse off we are in the US.

Am I afraid of these people and their theories? Certainly not. I know them. I understand them. I know that following them has lead to the death and destruction of hundreds of millions of people.

    Pop quiz, Hick:

How many of his own citizens did Stalin kill?
How many of his own citizens did Mao kill?
How many of his own citizens did Pol Pot kill.
How many US citizens did Bill Ayers say would have to be killed?

    Show us your learning, Hick.

  • Hick fail.

    Incorrect there, Stan…

We know what the ‘conservatives’ will say. They have offered nothing new in the way of ideas, more or less forever.

No taxes on the rich. No abortions, contraception, or sex ed. Lots of jesus in classrooms, courthouses, and public spaces. And of course all brown people = bad (in terms of both immigration and social programs).

Anything I’m missing? (Of course not). See how we didn’t need anyone to ‘teach’ that?

It is new ideas that require teaching and learning. Not the same old tripe we already don’t agree with, regurgitated ad nauseum by people who are hopelessly inured to their anachronistic worldview.

Lemme guess… you don’t get it.

  • Son of Taz

Once again, the hairy-palmed troll is the first to post because that’s what their masters want.

Learning what’s inside the Red Book isn’t the problem. Any thinking person wants to know what the enemy is saying. The problem, little troll, is who’s teaching it. Someone with a serious criminal record would have a great deal of difficulty being hired in many businesses, because their criminal record shows bad judgement for one, and an overall disrespect for an orderly society.

Having criminals teach at what is supposed to be the pinnacle of higher education is a slap in the face to every student who struggles to complete their education, and, in many cases, takes on a huge debt to do so. These clowns are thought of as some sort of hero, when they are nothing more than criminals that belong behind bars, or if their sentenced is served, not enjoying the fruits of the hard work of those of us that don’t commit crimes.

The Ivy League schools are a complete wasteland.

  • Sam Adams

    One other problem, Hick.

That economics class that you took….who paid for that class? Your tuition generally covers only a small fraction of the pay a professor receives. Often the taxpayers are subsidizing your education, paying for that professor’s salary.

Now, before you think I am anti-education, let me point out that I have a couple of engineering degrees. However, the classes that I took in economics and elsewhere had to focus on truth and facts, not political ideology. After all, nobody wants a bridge they are standing on to fall down, or a vessel containing chemicals to rupture.

Of course, you can take classes from people who can tell you all the wrong ways to try and do something. Yes, they have wisdom to impart. Just not useful wisdom.

  • Comrade J

    Gents,

Don’t feed the degenerate. It’s not here to debate. It’s “thinking” abilities are on par with a parrot.

I suppose I could include a nice long lecture here about the differences between a personality cult, pure-communism, pure-socialism, and pure-capitalism (none of which work, historically)… and then reiterate how ‘learning’ affects the implementation of a government system… but you can’t teach a cat to snorkel no matter how well you write it instructions.

“You are all so incredibly afraid of anything that you aren’t already in favor of. You hate things you don’t understand, and you don’t understand anything at all.”

You’ve got the wrong audience, that applies to DU or one of the tools of the alphabet networks. People here will meet, debate and defeat ideas of moonbattery, communism and collectivism all day long with facts, reasoning, morality and logic. The point of the post must be lost on you, or rather you are so enthralled with creating a strawman diversion argument, you missed that it is not that she CAN’T teach her crapola, it is rather the hypocrisy of hiring an unrepentent accomplice to terror and murder, as are Dorn and Ayers, as “teachers.”

Tolerance of ideas is a one way street for liberals. Tolerance for murderers and commie radicals, but not the unborn innocent lives they snuff out. Liberals lose the battle of ideas every time, then resort to ad hominem attacks or diversions, or banning speech they can’t deal with. Recent case in point, because Dr. Ben Carson dared to speak his own mind, he is now persona non grata at the graduation ceremonies at John Hopkins. His thought crime was to offend some liberal students and professors, and to dare wander off the talking points of the liberal negro plantation masters and speak against the failed policies of their moonbat messiah at the breakfast.

“The younger, more educated generation(s) are unlikely to pretend that thinking is a bad thing, no matter what you were raised to believe.”

That’s rich. Even for the young who you may be referring to who are educated by the lib thought police, as Orwell said,”Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it.”

We hear this talking point a lot from liberals, as if the young were another of their monolithic voting blocs like blacks, put on other Balkanized plantation, and illegal immigrants another, to be lorded over by their progressive masters.

The young Germans had much enthusiasm for Nazism as it arrived on the scene, despite what they were “raised to believe.” German enthusiasm for the progressive Nazism was clearly a case of “little men-gone wild.” Since there are no political systems that are entirely insulated against criminal activity, corruption or evil, only healthy, timely, vigorous and authentic dissent can act as an antidote to the evil inherent in tyrannical political systems like Obamanism, Fascism and Nazism.

But beyond the frail political systems, I pray that the words of Jesus have not now been relegated to a less enlightened era by young Obama voters. It would be the biggest mistake of their lives. They should have the freedom to learn, but should be guarded from whom they learn, what they expose themselves to, and whose values they adopt. Like everyone else, must realize they are either going to serve the principalities of this world as their slave, or Jesus Christ, their choice.

“Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in the ways of this world, he must become a fool to become really wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is THE ONE WHO CATCHES THE WISE IN THEIR CRAFTINESS” 1 Cor. 3: 18-20

Remove far from me vanity and lies. Proverbs 30:8.

Whoever keeps company with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20.

In the comments of this thread is a bitter little undercurrent. I want to weigh in on it. We are right to judge these people and say that because of their conduct they are trash and are incapable of educating anybody. What they say is worthless because of who they are. Bill Ayers and Kathy Boudin should be dead already or else running and living in fear of outraged vigilantes.

Why did Kathy Boudin spend 22 years in prison? She should have been executed. Why did Angela Davis get a trial? She should have been justifiably homicided by law enforcement she never should have been arrested in the first place.

The fact that these people not only get back out of prison before they die, but then go on to have enhanced careers in academia, brainwashing our kids with their slime while we slave to pay their tuition and other expenses, is the most eloquent plea for the Death Penalty.

    .

  • Sam Adams

First, the US does imprison a lot of people. More than 3/4 of those imprisoned are involved with drug-related crimes. Some are violent, but probably the majority don’t pose much of a risk to polite society. Personally I am of the opinion that if we don’t have to pay for the related social costs, I’m fine with decriminalizing drugs. People want to mess up their brains and their lives…go to it. Just don’t expect me to pay for your bad choices. Want to let your kids go without food and shelter? Again, that’s your problem. The fly-over states will not legalize drugs and so the druggies will flock to California and maybe the east coast.

Second issue….some of the folks in prison are violent criminals and deserve to be in prison. As exemplified by these leftie professors, they continue to pose a risk to society. Their ideology hasn’t changed; they still wish to harm America.

Third….you can learn a lot from almost anyone if you are willing to listen. Most of what you learn, however, may not be beneficial to you. Stories of failure/love lost/bad decisions. You could even make a homeless man a college professor…but it probably isn’t a good idea unless you think your child will benefit from learning about being homeless.

Personally I’d rather spend my time talking, for example, to a person who escaped from East Germany after WWII. Theirs is a story of success and triumph, rather than a story of failure and discouragement. If I were spending my valuable time and money at some expensive private school, I sure wouldn’t waste my time and money listening to some felon talking about failed political systems.

UG – I meant for “moonbattery” to cover a very broad spectrum of maladys, including some of today’s fashionable psychological disorders as well as the world’s deviant political movement disguised to fools as a religion of peace. Although, I must admit that if the libs succeed in their quest of driving Christianity and Christians underground in Amerikka before the Second Coming, Sharia law and Islamic punishments may likely step in and give them a well deserved taste of what their eternity will be like. To radical Islamic terrorists, progressives are useful idiots only to do what they have been unable to do externally against America, rot us from the inside and break our spirit. If Western Christianity falls under the progressive culture rot, Islamic radicals will have no further use for progressives here or in Europe, other than as kindling for the book buring bonfires. In other words, queers need to enjoy gay marriages while they last, because the Muzzies tender mercies on homos are likely to follow.

“but asI often try to point out to people, the whole point of learning is to think in new ways about things you haven’t considered before.”

Modern academia is monolithically leftist. What you’re saying (but are too stupid to realise) is that modern universities are doing a piss-poor job in imparting what you consider to be the whole point of learning, and compounding their failure by deliberately hiring their terrorist buddies like Ms Boudin for no other reason than their political slant.

    “Background sketchy? You bet.”

Sketchy is one way of describing unrepentant mass murderers who escape justice thanks to corrupt and bias juries, I guess.

“I took a class from a genuine Red Book-Chairman Mao communist in my economics department. Was a helluva interesting topic.”

Anonyweenie points out he had commie lecturers. He appears to think that this shows it’s a good idea. You may all point and laugh now.

And end on a truly woeful example of the strawman fallacy. That Maoist prof sure did a great job educating you.

Private colleges are not dependent on public funds.Yeah right. The reason there are so many private colleges all doing quite well is because they are flush with Federal money. From guaranteed loans to “research” grants, many many millions of taxpayer dollars are supporting the academics. Instructors and professors now routinely earn in excess of $100,000 and do nothing but indoctrinate the students who pay their salaries via Federally guaranteed student loans.
