More Obamunist Geography
The latest geographical gaffe from the administration run by a guy who thinks there are 57 states has even CNN snickering:
The press office issued credentials to those reporters and photojournalists who are covering the president’s trip this week to Washington state, California, and Colorado. The credential even provides a handy graphic highlighting (in white) which states the president will visit.
Anyone want to prove they graduated from the third grade by pointing out what’s wrong with the handy graphic highlighting?
Hopefully the omission of Arizona and New Mexico doesn’t mean the infamously “transparent” Obama regime has reached some accord with Mexico that I won’t know about until the street signs are changed to Spanish.

In order to keep the big “O” from losing face we will have to have the residents of the two states in question relocate to the others’ states. Street signs and city names will be changed at a later date.

Val, now I’m really confused! I heard the 57th state is called “Wyorado”, not “Coloming.” The Univeristy of Colorado and Colorado State University will merge and now be one university with a hybrid mascot called a Buffaram or is it a Ramaffalo? Heck, I can’t remember.
The graphic is correct in the depiction of Colorado. It is now, sadly, a “blue” state. The long standing bastions of liberals, Boulder and Aspen are no longer true, unforutnately. Even Telluride used to be a getaway vacation place and now is a kissing cousin of an Aspen wannabe. I’m a lifelong Coloradan and even during two back to back Democrat governors, Richard Lamm and Roy Romer, as both served three consective terms, Colorado remained a conservative state. El Paso county home to Colorado Springs and the Air Force Academy remains largely conservative.
Then in the early to mid 1990s, as California went broke, Californians flocked to the mountain west states and brought their attitudes with them. That was the beginning of the change. *SIGH*

The truth is there never was an “Aztlán” – it’s a mythical place but one strong contender is that the myths apparently refer to a spot down the Mexican coast – the state of Nayarit. The other best contender is that Aztlán was somewhere in the modern-day states of Guanajuato, Jalisco, and Michoacán. However the reconquistas are quick to discount anything along those lines as this blows their whole plan of taking part of America and making it their own.
@Graycat – those “Californians” of which you speak were not true “Californians” but rather liberals who came, screwed up California, didn’t like what they had made of it, then left to screw up the next places where they settled.
True Californians are more in the Reagan mode (even though he was also a transplant, having come from IL via IA to CA originally.
Actually Texas apparently has the legal right to split into 5 states, meaning we would end up with 54. Then grant statehood to Puerto Rico and that’s 55… all we need then is to split CA into 3 states (send all the lousy liberal parts into their own small state, then two other conservative states) and we’d actually have 57 and Obama would be correct!
Heh… I just drove through 7 of those 9 states shown (and AZ too) recently. Go figure, they can’t tell WY from CO. Shows how wonderful their plan to throw money at things like education without actually doing anything to ensure the right people are teaching the right things (but they sure worry about sexual issues) is NOT working.
