The self-described “pretty non-political” pair didn’t intend for the contest to become some sort of gay agenda item.
“It was completely self-serving and turned into this thing we didn’t expect,” Lee said Tuesday. “It went beyond us, and people wanted to turn it into more about equality and showing that Nebraskans aren’t as narrow-minded as we are made out to be.”
The people who wanted to turn the nauseating farce “into more about equality” by rubbing blasphemy and depravity in their readers’ faces and then denouncing them as “narrow-minded” for not liking it would be the moonbats running the Urinal Star.

The board voted Monday to allow district superintendent Lance Stout to make recess optional at Cottonwood and Sunflower schools. Principals Donna Sill and Sheri King will make the decision whether or not to incorporate recess in the school schedule.

I’ve posted before that I hate all this “in your face” sexuality even when it’s about “straights”. I am a firm believer in privacy, but there is precious little of that these days; the sexual revolution (My generation’s fault) has forced sex into the open and made it a public spectical.

PENANCE
Catholics generally believe sin causes spiritual penalties, and not all of these penalties are removed even if the guilt of a sin has been forgiven. They believe these remaining penalties can be removed or reduced by penance, which involves doing good works. What these good works are is decided by the priest after a confession. According to Catholic beliefs any remaining penalties will be paid by suffering in a place called purgatory after death.
However the Bible does not say anything about penance, God does not demand such things for the forgiveness of sins. God’s forgiveness is a free gift we receive by turning away from our wrong ways and accepting it through believing in Jesus as our Lord (Galatians 2:16, Romans 1:17). According to the Bible good works do not make a person a Christian, but good works should be the sign of a person who is a Christian. Good works are the result of becoming a Christian. And we become a Christian by turning away from sin and turning our lives over to Jesus.
