Michelle Malkin: The Crucifixion Of Jason Richwine
Who’s watching the watchers?
Doing the right thing the wrong way?
Odd that the Obama administration SEEMS to be doing the right thing here opposing broadening access to what is the equivalent of an abortion in a pill, although that also depends on exactly how you define what abortion is.
But as usual they’re doing it the wrong way, as described in the article: Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and other officials are continuing an “administrative agency filibuster through the appellate process.”
Look who’s in charge of teaching our children!
Harford County Public Schools employee Stephanie Mikles indicted on deviant sex charges. According to court records and photographic evidence, a grand jury indicted Stephanie Mikles with “unnatural or perverted sexual practice.”
The indictment goes on to state that Mikles had “sexual intercourse with a dog,”
See Photo: This guy went to desperate lengths to get some.
A man from northwest suburban Roselle, in DuPage County, faces a charge of misdemeanor animal cruelty after police said he sexually abused his pet peacock.
David Beckman, 64, of the 600 block of East Devon Avenue, was charged with the crime after police learned the bird died while they were investigating Beckman about an alleged case of indecent solicitation of a child.
Why tuition rates are soaring?
Salaries of presidents of U.S. public universities rose almost 5 percent in the last fiscal year, even as tuition rose and student debt soared, with the median pay package topping $400,000, according to a report released on Sunday.
Penn State’s Graham Spanier was the top earner last year at the time he was fired over the Jerry Sandusky scandal, according to the study by the Chronicle of Higher Education, though his compensation was inflated by $2.4 million in severance pay and deferred compensation.
The median total compensation for the public university presidents in fiscal year 2011-2012 was $441,392, the study found. Four of the presidents earned more than $1 million, and the median base pay jumped 2 percent to $373,800.
Second Amendment rights advocates are fuming today over words from three Democratic state senators caught on tape after Thursday’s hearing on the upper chamber’s gun control package.
The three female senators, who sound from the recording to be Sen. Loretta Weinberg, Sen. Sandy Cunningham and Sen. Linda Greenstein are heard discussing the just-closed hearing.
“We needed a bill that was going to confiscate, confiscate, confiscate,” said an unknown voice.
Weinberg said she had no idea who said confiscate or in what context, or if it was even a lawmaker. The next voice, which is clearly Weinberg, said, “They want to keep the guns out of the hands of the bad guys, but they don’t have any regulations to do it.”
Next up was Cunningham: “They don’t care about the bad guys. All they want to do is have their little guns and do whatever they want with them.”
Then Greenstein: “That’s the line they’ve developed.”
Scott Bach, executive director of the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs, said the comments are indicative of an extremist mentality.
“We’re outraged by this,” Bach said. “These are the words of gun ban extremists and unfortunately they have the ear of the senate president right now. The bill package that is coming up Monday in the full senate needs to be held.”
And of course this will be blamed on the guns instead of the culture and mentality of the people who used them.
The thing is no gun law in the world will prevent these sort of people from doing this sort of thing.
It started out with the sound of music and ended with the sound of gunshots.
An annual Mother’s Day second line in the Seventh Ward that normally draws hundreds came to a tragic end Sunday when gunmen fired into the crowd, striking 19 people, including two children. It’s the area’s second shooting in a week. Police are still investigating a motive. They believe at least two guns were involved.
I wonder if he was murdered with a “fast & furious” gun provided by Obama & Holder?
The death of a South Texas singer well known for his ballads, including some about the exploits of Mexican drug cartels, was being treated as a murder investigation after authorities found his body Thursday on a rural road. Jesus “Chuy” Quintanilla appeared to have been shot at least twice in the head and was found near his vehicle, Sheriff Lupe Trevino said. Irrigation workers found his body on a roadway north of Mission in an isolated area surrounded by citrus groves, Trevino said. Some of his songs could be considered narcocorridos, which often tell of the power of top drug traffickers or recount big gun battles in ways that can sometime draw the ire of those on the losing side. Singers of narcocorridos have been targeted in the past.
A spokeswoman for Catherine Zeta-Jones says the actress has “proactively” checked into a mental health facility for treatment of her bipolar condition.
Man shot in French Quarter after knocking pistol away from assailant
According to the NOPD, a man and two women were walking in the 600 block of Dumaine Street searching for a cap when three black men approached from behind, one brandishing a handgun.
The armed assailant demanded money but the man searching for the taxi knocked the guy away, NOPD spokesman Garry Flot said. The pistol fired, however, hitting the man in the right shoulder.
The man who was shot, along with the two women he was with, were all able to give police descriptions of the three men who approached from behind, adding that they were all wearing hoodie jackets, the Flot said.
Ya think the guy with the gun in this case is going to worry about gun laws?
THANK GOD FOR THE SECOND AMENDMENT!
Police say a homeowner had to defend himself Sunday after a man entered his home on North Broad Street and began fighting the people inside. The homeowner shot the suspect, who later died at the hospital.
The shooting happened after 2:15 p.m. inside of a home in the 1500 block of N. Broad Street.
NOPD spokesman Officer Garry Flot said the suspect entered the home and began fighting with the people inside. According to the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office, the intruder was from Colorado.
At some point, the home owner shot the suspect “to protect himself,” Flot said.
Because he wants you all to know governing America is hard. It’s really hard. Takes all his time, effort & concentration!
President Barack Obama will start the week by attending 3 Democratic fundraisers in New York City, according to the White House. “In the afternoon, the President will travel to New York City. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport will be open press,” the president’s schedule reads.
“While in New York City, the President will deliver remarks at two DNC events at private residences and a joint DCCC/DSCC event at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The DNC events are print pool for remarks only and the DCCC/DSCC event is pooled press.
“In the evening, the President will depart New York City en route Washington, DC. The departure from John F. Kennedy International Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn will be open press.
And we are all paying for his fund raising activities and related travel and security expenses.

Next it will be Hillary’s “turn” to unhinge her jaws and swallow the country whole.

Breitbart’s caustic story Koch Sponsors Pro-Amnesty BuzzFeed Event by Lee Stranahan 10 May 2013 has rightly got a lot of attention, partly for its accurate depiction of the panel’s extreme bias:
…five of the invitees are strongly in favor of the comprehensive immigration reform/amnesty package being put forward by the “Gang of Eight” in Congress. Only one guest–from The Heritage Foundation–has been critical of the proposed immigration reform package. Additionally, an illegal immigrant who is an award-winning journalist will be assisting in broadcasting the event
Derrick Morgan, the Heritage man, is I note also the only European-American. It figures.
Much of the consternation stems from the fact the Left, motivated as it is by hatred, has been ridiculously demonizing the Koch brothers for several years for having the temerity to be anti-socialist. This development makes them look foolish.
But in fact, as David Weigel had noted the previous day
…as a veteran of the Koch-funded Reason magazine, I can report that the libertarian brothers have always put their money behind immigration reform.
The Terrifying Koch Brothers Sponsor a Boozy Pro-Immigration Reform Panel Slate Thursday May 9, 2013
VDARE.com has long denounced Reason for fanatical Open Borderism: in recent years it has been increasingly motivated by anti white American animus. No doubt the Kochs do not go into their own kitchen.
But in fact this is a step-up of activity and is an important development illustrating, like Sheldon Adelson’s march through Georgia, the central fact of the Immigration War of 2013: the Treason Lobby is riding on a cash avalanche.
In a pleasant variation, the Koch bothers though billionaires are not Jewish – unlike Adelson, Mark Zuckerberg, Paul Singer, Michael Bloomberg, Michael Moritz, and I am confident we will eventually discover many, many more.
Nonetheless they are a deadly threat to the American Nation.

Is the Rule of Law Immoral? Ask Archbishop José Gomez!
By Christopher Manion on May 11, 2013 at 11:27pm
The collapse of legitimacy in Washington continues, and the immigration debate is no exception. The rule of law withers away, while partisans wallow in sentimentalism, with curious consequences: consider the religious leaders who are at the forefront of the pro-amnesty movement. Somehow, they’re on the same side of the issue as Big Business, the banksters, and the Wall Street Journal.
How did this come to pass?
A little history helps. In the past 40 years, evangelicals have made significant inroads into the once-Catholic populations of Mexico and Latin America. This was due in large part to the Catholic political detour into liberation theology that swept across the continent a generation ago. Protestant missionaries, often sponsored by small, independent congregations in the United States, had a simple message: “the Catholics preach politics, we preach the Bible.” Tens of millions of Latino Catholics left the Church.
In the United States, the accusation rings true all too often. The Catholic Church has a strong political presence in Washington. According to the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) spent some $26.67 million on political advocacy in 2009; only AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, spent more ($87.90 million). Most recently, this activity focused on the bishops’ battle against the HHS Contraceptive Mandate and homosexual “marriage.” But over the long haul, those advocacy efforts have supported key elements of the Left’s agenda: national health care, amnesty for illegal aliens, and expansion of the welfare state.

Will Barry be impeached for lying, incompetence, or abandoning his own ambassador? Will Hill’s hopes for higher office be dashed?
Anyone who thinks these folks are defending us needs to up their meds.
A birthday card that CAIR doesn’t like…
““We missed the humor,” he wrote in a post for CAIR Chicago’s blog, the Chicago Monitor. “The unmistakable message behind the ‘humor’ is that even the most peaceful looking Muslims are synonymous and exchangeable with terrorists.”
“Islamophobic generalizations and negative stereotypes often hit those who are most visibly perceived as Muslim, and women wearing the Hijab are often the group hit the hardest,” Rehab wrote.”
I’d be more than happy for CAIR to tell us how we can tell the peaceful Muslims from the terrorists who are willing to blow themselves and other innocents up. In fact, if we could stop the terrorists from even entering the country, that would be great.
Here’s another Palestinian leader that does his best to convince us that the folks in Palestine shouldn’t be trusted to lead any country.
Stating that “if we had a nuke we’d have used it this morning” isn’t going to win over many civilized, rational people.
Kinda makes you wonder who will turn into a terrorist next.
QUESTIONS LOOM AS TO OBAMA REGIME’S COVER-UP OF CRIMINAL IDEOLOGICALLY DRIVEN IRS’ DIRECTED BROAD ILLEGAL TARGETING AND HARRASSMENT OF CONSERVATIVE AND PATRIOTIC GROUPS WHILE LYING TO CONGRESS THAT NONE OF IT WAS HAPPENING
Senior officials at the Internal Revenue Service were aware that its agents were targeting Tea Party groups as early as 2011, according to an Inspector General’s draft report obtained by Fox News.
Lois Lerner, who runs the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt organizations, knew about the targeting of Tea Party groups since June 29, 2011.
Lerner learned at a meeting that the groups were being targeted, according to the watchdog’s report. At the meeting, she was told that groups with “Tea Party,” `’Patriot” or “9/12 Project” in their names were being flagged for additional and often burdensome scrutiny, the report says. In addition, the Determinations Unit sent cases to a designated team of specialists to be worked that had issues including government spending, government debt, or taxes, or included statements in their files criticizing how the country is being run.
The 9-12 Project is a group started by conservative TV personality Glenn Beck.
Lerner instructed agents to change the criteria for flagging groups “immediately,” the report says.
Among the other revelations, on Aug. 4, 2011, staffers in the IRS’ Rulings and Agreements office “held a meeting with chief counsel so that everyone would have the latest information on the issue.”
On Jan, 25, 2012, the criteria for flagging suspect groups was changed to, “political action type organizations involved in limiting/expanding Government, educating on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, social economic reform/movement,” the report says.
While this was happening, several committees in Congress were writing numerous letters IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman to express concern because tea party groups were complaining of IRS harassment.
In Shulman’s responses, he did not acknowledge targeting of tea party groups. At a congressional hearing March 22, 2012, Shulman was adamant in his denials.
“There’s absolutely no targeting. This is the kind of back and forth that happens to people” who apply for tax-exempt status, Shulman said at the House Ways and Means subcommittee hearing.
Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La., chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee’s oversight subcommittee, said the report “raises serious questions as to who at IRS, Treasury and in the administration knew about this, why this practice was allowed to continue for as long as it did, and how widespread it was.”
“The admission by the agency that it targeted American taxpayers based on politics is both shocking and disappointing,” said Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., chairman of the Ways and Means Committee. “We will hold the IRS accountable for its actions.”
The group Tea Party Patriots said the revelation was proof that the IRS had lied to Congress and the public when Schulman said there had been no targeting of tea party groups.
“We must know how many more lies they have been telling and how high up the chain the cover-up goes,” Jenny Beth Martin, national coordinator for the group Tea Party Patriots, said in a statement Saturday.
“It appears the IRS committed crimes and violated our ability to exercise our First Amendment right to free speech. A simple apology is not sufficient reparation for violating the constitutional rights of United States citizens. Therefore, Tea Party Patriots rejects the apology from the Internal Revenue Service,” Martin said. “We are, however, encouraged to hear that Congress plans to investigate. Those responsible must be held accountable and resign or be terminated for their actions.”

It’s of little surprise the “anti-racist” PC MSM is burying Jason Richwine. He committed the unpardonable sin: telling the truth about IQ differences between the races.
The other day, Jared Taylor put up an excellent piece addressing the cowardice displayed by “conservatives” WRT Jason Richwine’s Harvard peer reviewed doctoral dissertation.
The Cowardice of “Conservatives”,/b>
Jared Taylor, American Renaissance, May 10, 2013
In yet another act of cowardice, a “conservative” institution has fired someone from saying something that is not only true, but that everyone knows to be true. This time the Heritage Foundation joined the ranks of the lickspittles by forcing out a senior researcher, Jason Richwine. Mr. Richwine, who co-authored the Heritage’s recently released report on the costs of amnesty, had written his Harvard PhD thesis on the implications of racial differences in IQ for immigration policy—and racial differences in IQ have such obvious policy implications that a “think tank” dare not think about them.
There is no need to repeat the things that have been said by Mr. Richwine’s attackers. They are just as gloatingly idiotic as you would imagine. It is far more important to point out that Mr. Richwine had important defenders—but Heritage still folded. And what makes its behavior particularly revolting is that the people who run it knew about Mr. Richwine’s dissertation ever since they hired him two years ago. It is hard to imagine more craven behavior.
Charles Murray got it right: “Thank God I was working for Chris DeMuth and AEI, not Jim DeMint and Heritage, when The Bell Curve was published. Integrity. Loyalty. Balls”—none of which are to be found at Heritage.
Michele Malkin noted that “if it is now inherently racist to study racial and ethnic differences among demographic groups, then it’s time to shut down every social sciences department in the country.”
Rush Limbaugh wrote: “We must have honest discussions about race. We must have honest discussions about immigration. Well, here is one. Here’s an honest discussion, a doctoral dissertation, and it is under attack because it is honest.” He added, “What is happening to Jason Richwine is inexcusable.”
Ann Coulter called the assault on Mr. Richwine “liberal attacks on science.”
Even David Weigel, hardly a friend of the right, was unhappy: “A liberal squeals ‘racism,’ and they hear the political correctness cops (most often, the Southern Poverty Law Center) reporting a thinkcrime.”
What are the eunuchs who run Heritage waiting for? Nancy Pelosi to tell them it’s OK to hire people who write about IQ?
I have a simple question for people who call themselves “conservative:” When are you going to stop letting the Left tell you what you cannot think? In other words, when are you going to be men instead of lapdogs?
Because you are lapdogs, Jason Richwine joins a distinguished group of men fired by “conservatives:” Joe Sobran, Sam Francis, Scott McConnell, John Derbyshire, Robert Weissberg, Kevin Lamb, Frank Borzellieri, Leif Parsell, and no doubt others who have slipped my mind. John O’Sullivan, Peter Brimelow, James Watson, and Patrick Buchanan have also gotten some form of the ax for excessive truth-telling.

What is the down-side of lying to congress? People getting fired? People losing their pensions? People going to jail?
My 4 year old granddaughter suffers worse punishments when she is put in time out for 5 minutes than will happen to any of these folks at the IRS.
After all….laws only apply to the little people, and little people can be defined as those not employed by government.

I still maintain Obama and Hillary will emerge unscathed WRT the Benghazi controversy. Sooner or later it will fade away. Same goes for the IRS targeting conservatives. As sure as the sun comes up in the east, they’ll find that IRS employees acted on their own volition — not under the direction of the Obama administration. Obama and his regime will be completely distance from that issue. Moreover, I predict Barry — with the help of his sycophants in the MSM — with spin the IRS intimidation issue to his advantage; he will come out looking like the good guy. It’s always amazing to watch the spin machine in action….
PROFILES IN COUNTERMOONBATTERY – PHIL ROBERTSON OF DUCK DYNASTY – NO GOD, NO GUNS, THEN NO SHOW – QUIT YOUR WHINING
On May 9, Greensboro, NC country station 93.1 The Wolf reported that after receiving complaints over prayers to God and the frequent use of guns on air, Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson said, “God and guns are part of our everyday lives [and] to remove either of them from the show is unacceptable.”
“Happy, Happy, Happy: My Life” – Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson shares the love of his country, his family and his Maker that are the ingredients to the “good life” he always wanted.
According to a post 93.1 The Wolf put in their Facebook page, Phil also said: “If we can’t pray to God on the show, then we will not do the show.” The post received more than 126,000 Facebook “likes.”

A Saudi court has jailed a Lebanese man for six years and sentenced him to 300 lashes after convicting him of encouraging a Saudi woman to convert to Christianity
This is the sort of barbarism that happens when Muslims are the majority in a country. The lesson here is that if you want to live in a civilized country then you should live in one that has as few Muslims as possible. One way of doing this is to live in a country that does not allow Islamic immigration.
I thought the same thing when I heard about the IRS.. then I read a few articles and wasn’t surprised how many of these “were just defending their brotha Obama”.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has gone, hat in hand, to health industry officials, asking them to make large financial donations to help with the effort to implement President Obama’s landmark health-care law, two people familiar with the outreach said.
Her unusual fundraising push comes after Congress repeatedly rejected the Obama administration’s requests for additional funds to set up the Affordable Care Act, leaving HHS to implement the president’s signature legislative accomplishment on what officials have described as a shoestring budget.
Over the past three months, Sebelius has made multiple phone calls to health industry executives, community organizations and church groups and asked that they contribute whatever they can to nonprofit groups that are working to enroll uninsured Americans and increase awareness of the law, according to an HHS official and an industry person familiar with the secretary’s activities. Both spoke on the condition of anonymity to talk openly about private discussions.

OBAMA IRS-GATE: RUMMY’S NEW BOOK – ROGUE IRS TARGETS OUTSPOKEN BUSINESS LEADERS AS WELL AS CONSERVATIVE GROUPS
Tea Party and conservative constitutional groups may be the new targets of the Internal Revenue Service, but former Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld reveals in his new book out this week that outspoken businesses critical of the federal government are also singled out by the IRS and Securities and Exchange Commission.
In the book, written before news broke about the IRS targeting conservative groups prompted by the Tea Party movement, Rumsfeld suggests that the agency has a record of targeting critics.
“Having been in the position of a chief executive officer, I can understand why a businessman might be reluctant to speak out against the actions of federal agencies that have the power to harm their enterprises,” he wrote in Rumsfeld’s Rules, which goes on sale Tuesday.
“By doing so, corporate leaders could expose themselves and their companies to government retaliation–from the IRS, the SEC, congressional committees, or the many other agencies of the federal government that regulate and oversee their operations,” he added.
Criticism of presidents, he said, is hard. “I suppose if more business leaders defended capitalism, there might not be quite as many smiling photos with politicians.”
The book applauds the late Steve Jobs for standing up to President Obama and warning him that his policies were hurting American competitiveness. He urges other business leaders and politicians to follow suit, and not be afraid of government criticism or scrutiny. “America’s economy was built on fortitude, not fear.”
