Rehabilitating the Last Bitter Clingers to Decency

In the Soviet Union, those who let it be known they didn’t like being slaves were declared insane and incarcerated in asylums. In Asian communist regimes, dissidents have been subjected to intensive “reeducation” in concentration camps. In the land formerly known as America,

A lesbian couple filed a formal complaint against “Sweet Cakes by Melissa” in Portland after the owners – Aaron and Melissa Klein – declined on the basis of their Christian faith to provide services for a lesbian “wedding.” A report in a state newspaper says Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries plans to investigate if the business violated a 2007 state law that protects the [privileges] of LGBT people in employment, housing, and public accommodations. …

The Oregonian quotes Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian as saying: “The goal is never to shut down a business. The goal is to rehabilitate.”

That is, rehabilitate Christians and others who fail to embrace state-supported sexual depravity with sufficient enthusiasm.

If this doesn’t chill your blood, splash some water on your face and wake the hell up.

On a tip from St. Gilbert.

    Rehabilitate?
Is that just another word for conversion therapy?
So you can give Christians conversion therapy but you can’t give homosexuals conversion therapy.
It sounds very sinister to me.

Forced to do buisness with dirty gays and filthy lesbians under this equel rights crap PC nonsense

Somebody needs to start a website and make it known so people can donate $ to fight these faggots in court. It’s time to start pulling together and drive the queers back underground where they belong.

should just quote them 3x the normal price…

    .

Muslims are planning a “Million Muslim March” for September 11 to protest “religious persecution” and being “victimized” by the terrorist attack on 9/11.

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/08/17/muslim-group-criticized-for-planning-mass-demonstration-on-12th-anniversary-11/

I think we need to “join” the march and show them “terrorism” like they’ve never seen before. I’m sick and f*cking tired of these cretins and their stupid marches. 3,000 innocent Americans were murdered horribly by Muslims on 9/11, and now we’re supposed to feel guilty because we’re understandably suspicious? Sorry.

All the marchers should be arrested, put onto a plane, and flown back to the middle east with strict orders to never darken America’s doorway again.

We’ve got to restore property rights. Collectivists have effectively nationalized everything in the country through the back-door of the regulatory state. What can they not control through so-called “regulation?”

Leave the West Coast. It ain’t worth it. There are still some decent places to live righteously in America.

What happened to the right to refuse service? Why don’t the carpet munchers go somewhere that doesnt have a problem with their lifestyle?

  • Son of Taz

9mm can be very good at rehabilitating – uh, make that debilitating.

If I went into a vegan bakery and told the staff to bake me a cake for me and my hunting buddies before we go on a trophy hunt/club seals, and they refused, I would just leave and go somewhere else. I wouldn’t sue them and force them to violate their conscience because I’m too much of a baby to just go to one of the many other bakeries that would make me a cake.

If the above scenario happened and I tried to sue, I’m sure people would be telling me I’m the bad guy for wanting the bakery to go against their deeply held beliefs, yet its fine to force Christians to go against theirs.

“We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.”

I’ve seen that sign several times. Apparently, no one has the right anymore.

Everyone who fought on the losing side in Viet Nam got sent to re-education camps, which were the very same camps where our POWs were kept. And the Left never gave the south end of a northbound rat, over either group of people.

    “Vic Kelley says:August 20, 2013 at 2:59 pm”

During the confused/hysterical days following Dec. 7, 1941, a senator (Can’t remember the name or where to look it up) suggested that America ABANDON the west coast and set up a defensive line in the Rocky Mountains.

Suddenly this sounds like a good idea.

For the record, I’m straight, married, and don’t understand the gay attraction. Having said that, who the hell cares what they do with their lives? What business is it of anyone else? It’s no wonder the Repubs, who I’ve voted for in every election since 1972, are getting their butts kicked. The hard line, self righteous, far right of our party is killing us. Until our party learns to moderate, get used to a dem president. We’ll never see another Republican.

But, but, but… the Left SWORE OUT LOUD this would never ever, ever happen.

Gee whiz – you don’t think the Left is a steaming pile of filthy liars, do you?

I own firearms and plenty of ammo specifically for communists, err.. liberals. (Same damned thing.)

It’s time to John Galt. Let the sorry Nazi scum starve.

  • IslandLifer

Ttommy, it probably wouldn’t have been an issue except for the fact homos have been cramming their lifestyle/agenda down everyone’s throats. I’m sick of it and I know many others are as well. So rather than capitulate people are putting their foot down as this bakery did. I wouldn’t doubt this queer couple instigated the situation. Either way a business has a right to refuse their service to anyone. If homos don’t like it they can give their $ to another. But, as always, they go screaming to a lawyer and inflict as much damage possible. The faggot loves notoriety. BTW, if you don’t stand on principle what sort of a person are you? Not much of one. Just ask the current Republican Party.

  • Whom

I think at this point it’s time to say, we still refuse to comply, it’s against our beliefs and go ahead, try and shut my business down mr gov man.

It always goes one way; the lesbians demand accommodation, demanding that we accept their “diversity” but don’t accept diversity in others. If the lesbians said “bake us a cake” and the business owner said “no,” then why must the business owner be forced to bend?

If I went into a Jewish deli, or a Muslim-run restaurant, can I demand that they serve me bacon?

There are CHRISTIANS in Oregon!!? The devil missed two?

I detest homosexuality and I am a devout Christian .. however, these people picked this fight when they refused ‘on the basis of their Christianity’ .. I don’t think they should whine about getting their tail under the rocking chair … I think it was a poor choice on their part, and I don’t think even Jesus is happy with it.

On the other hand, when people talk to me about Oregon, I always rave about how beautiful it is, how much I love all those mountains covered with old growth forest.. it really is beautiful – too bad its in Oregon.

A simple disclaimer will make business wishes known:
“We reserve the right to not serve pervs”

  • whotothewhat

Still wouldn’t bake the LGBTMNOPs a cake. Shut down the shop and move to a new location. OUT OF STATE>>>>>>>>.

  • Jester

In a few more years, none of this will matter. The days of the LGBT movement in America are numbered, ironically by the same people the pro-LGBT media supports wholeheartedly. Am I the only one who gets this?

Think it won’t happen here, progressives? Get with the times, because it already is.
