It seems politics these days is all about race. But from our rulers’ point of view, it isn’t about race at all. It is about incrementally imposing communism. Despite speaking in his usual Euphemese, Obama made it clear how race is used as a means to this end yesterday at the service worshiping MLK:
Too many blacks and minorities in America are having trouble entering the middle class, [Obama] said, and he blamed Wall Street greed and the country’s economic policies for limiting their opportunities.
Calling increased access to economic opportunity a second goal of original March on Washington, Obama said securing the gains the country has made on racial injustice requires “vigilance, not complacency.”
“For what does it profit a man, Dr. King would ask, to sit at an integrated lunch counter if he can’t afford the meal? Obama said.
Scrape off the euphemisms, doubletalk, and adolescent demagoguery about “Wall Street greed” and what is left can be translated into this: Blacks should have as much money as whites, regardless of whether they earn it. Since freedom results in differing rewards for differing performances, only a rigidly coercive application of oligarchical collectivism — i.e., communism — can ensure “racial injustice.”
