Michael Bloomberg Cracks Down on Soda Drinking in Mexico

Michael Bloomberg has reduced New York City to a parody of a totalitarian dystopia with his authoritarian jihads against cigarettes, salt, firearms, trans fats, soda, soup, food donations, baby formula, escalators, earbuds, Styrofoam, et cetera, ad nauseam. Since not even the Big Apple is big enough to satisfy his pathological need to control others, he has taken a campaign against sparklers statewide and his attack on the Second Amendment nationwide. But that still isn’t enough, so he uses his fortunes to help sanctimoniously boss around Mexico:

The Mexican government announced [last month] a proposal to tax soft drinks in an effort to fight the country’s obesity epidemic. President Enrique Peña Nieto wants Mexicans to pay an extra peso (about 8 U.S. cents) for every liter of sweetened drinks.

The move is among a slew of actions Peña Nieto has taken in recent months to combat Mexico’s growing obesity epidemic. Some of the government’s initiatives, including a subway advertising campaign in Mexico City, have been partially funded by Bloomberg’s personal charity, Bloomberg Philanthropies. The subway ads warn of the dangers of drinking too much soda — such as developing diabetes.

Mexico is the world leader in soda consumption. Nanny Bloomberg does not approve.

But just like in the U.S., challenging the soda industry has led to a backlash. The Mexican Association of Soda Makers said the plan would hurt sugar cane growers and disproportionately affect the poor, in a country where 45 percent of 118 million people live in poverty.

If Bloomberg wanted to do some good for a change, he should combine his Mexican meddling with his hoplophobia and raise awareness of rogue US administrations that illicitly funnel guns to Mexican drug lords.

New “litmus test” on who will stay and who must go of
    his military leaders..
The test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not!!! Those who will not are being remover..

Remember that survey given to the marines stationed at the base at Twenty Nine Psalms in 1994?

Is it time for a 3rd, or perhaps, even a 4th political party in the US? Anyone with an IQ above 8, which excludes liberals, knows the answer to that question. And guess what? A majority of the American people think so too. So what’s the problem? Well, the elected lying crooks of both parties don’t want to share their power, and our money, with anyone else.

FYI, Mexican Coke (the beverage, not the drug)and other south-of-the-border soft drinks have more sweetener added than comparable U.S. products. In some beverages, it is almost like drinking syrup.

NYC’s queen Bloomberg is only happy when he’s telling people how they should/must live their lives. He is the quintessential Fascist, with a clear Napoleonic complex. What makes him truly dangerous is the $30 Billion in his pockets.

And, while he wouldn’t mind having you arrested, or taxed into submission, for eating french fries or drinking a soda, or smoking a cigarette, yesterday he was quoted as saying, his (most favorite) food is, peanut-butter and bacon on white bread toast! He said he loves that more than any food served in the finest restaurants in Paris. Maybe if you had $30 Billion, you too could eat whatever you want. Just not in NYC.

But things here won’t be getting any better. The next mayor, Bill DeBlasio, is a full-blown Marxist.
