Charlie Rangel knows how to spew Democrat talking points on the cable news shows, and how to stay in power despite a long record of corruption. What he does not know is what congressional district he represents:
Rep. Charles Rangel, 83, recently reported to the federal government that he’s based in the 15th Congressional District — which is wrong.
Rangel — who was censured by Congress in 2010 for taking rent-stabilized apartments and failing to pay taxes — actually represents the 13th District.
The embarrassing mistake appeared on a Federal Election Commission form filed by the congressman’s re-election committee, Rangel for Congress, on Oct. 15.
That’s okay. His Harlem constituents don’t know what district they are in either. Most probably couldn’t find their own city on a map of New York State. But they know how to keep the pipeline of other people’s money flowing.
