Fort Hood Terror Attack Passed Off by Obama Regime as “Workplace Violence”

What would happen if, during a war, a society went insane and allowed people sympathetic to the enemy to take control? This is what:

Sen. Susan Collins on Wednesday blasted the Defense Department for classifying the Fort Hood massacre as workplace violence and suggested political correctness is being placed above the security of the nation’s Armed Forces at home. …

Thirteen people [sic; authorities don't count the unborn baby that was killed] were killed and dozens more wounded at Fort Hood in 2009, and the number of alleged plots targeting the military has grown significantly since then. Lawmakers said there have been 33 plots against the U.S. military since Sept. 11, 2001, and 70 percent of those threats have been since mid-2009. Major Nidal Hasan, a former Army psychiatrist, who is being held for the attacks, allegedly was inspired by radical U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen in late September. The two men exchanged as many as 20 emails, according to U.S. officials, and Awlaki declared Hasan a hero.

There was never any doubt that Hasan’s killing spree was an Islamic terror attack. He had spent years waving red flags, shouting in the face of anyone who would listen that his loyalty was to radical Islam, not the USA. Similarly, the political establishment and military top brass is loyal not to the USA but to political correctness. To admit that nurturing Muslims in the bosom of the Armed Forces is a supremely stupid idea would cause the whole mandatory multicultural construct to come unraveled, so Hasan’s red flags were ignored — and continue to be ignored even after he murdered 14 Americans.

Disgustingly, Army chief of staff George Casey Jr.’s reaction to the terror attack was to pule that “it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty.” The next Major Hasan is ticking away as you read this.

“There is a serious threat within the military from people who have enlisted who are radical jihadists,” [Rep. Peter] King [R-NY] said.

Warns King:

“There’s a definite threat from Islamic radicalization in various parts of our society, including within the military, and we can’t allow political correctness to keep us from exposing this threat for what it is.”

The odds of anyone in the Obama Administration or the top brass beholden to it paying the least attention are remote. From their point of view, American lives are a small price to pay for sanctimonious liberal posturing.

Casey: too PC to put up a fight against Islam.

    “allegedly was inspired”

What more do we need to know before we can drop the ‘allegedly’? Seriously? How much information could you possibly need. Everyone on the planet knew this for a fact the day the attacks occured.

As for Casey: If you refuse to recognize the enemy even when he is actually killing the soldiers you are responsible for, you have no business wearing that uniform. You’re a disgrace. Get out!

  • StanInTexas

That is not all. The Obama Administration is denying Army Pvt. William “Andy” Long a Purple Heart. He was killed by an Islamic terrorist at the Little Rock Recruiting Center, but that act of terrorism has been classified a “drive-by shooting”.

Sorry, Lao. Last month when you asked me to cite an example of a lone Islamic killer on American soil I forgot about this guy. Seems the MSM has even me asleep.

“From their point of view, American lives are a small price to pay for sanctimonious liberal posturing.”

I have no problem with this attitude as long as the lives lost are liberals. They all have to die anyway in order to save America. When can we start?

  • lao

Sorry Jester, your memory is faulty.

Can you cite one Islamic suicide bomber incident within the U.S.A.?

What happened to “man made disaster”? So hard keeping up with revisions to the PC handbook these days.

Jester, remember that LaoZee has saved EVERYTHING he has ever posted on this board, and everything that the rest of us have posted too, apparently.

But don’t say anything to him about it, or he will call you obsessive!

    Jester,

You may notice that Lao-Z progressively trims an issue down to the finest nanopoint possible until it fits with some version of odd personal victory that only he could imagine.

    That’s all Lao-Z does.

Interestingly, that’s also what homosexuals do when defending themselves in court.

Having been around the Army brass since I retired from the Corps (I work in the private sector in Intel/Security) and I can tell you that the Army brass is HEAVILY PC and discipline is out of the window. The AF is even WORSE!

Rest assured that this nation is in DEEP KIMCHEE!

  • Doug

lao, tell me, what did Soros ask you to say on August 15, 2008 here on Moonbattery?

  • Lao’s AIDS infected rectum

    Hey Lao,

Lone islamic bomber? Try Jose Pimentel back in Nov 2011 in NYC you AIDS ridden syphillic whore.

  • Fiberal

What I’m not understanding is why so many military officers have so completely caved into political correctness.

Except for Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, patriot who defied BO due to his obvious ineligibility as Commander-in-Chief.

Political correctness and not military discipline is why both the MSM and the military went so hard after Lakin.

  • Agnostic Conservative

A clear cut case of murder and terrorism with overwhelming evidence is passed off as an act of workplace violence by the administration which is ready to put citizens in indefinite detention without trial at GITMO for being a “suspected terrorist”.

What’s the criteria for being suspected of terrorism? If you have missing fingers, have guns, weather proof ammo, buy food for more than a week.

This is so full of LULZ.

It’s easy Fiberal. Unless we’re in the middle of a shooting war, generals are political picks, never warrior picks. Just look back at history. This is deja vu all over again (hat tip to Yogi).

And somewhere, a little piece of shit president nods on, approvingly. The damn USA are finally getting what they deserves!

If this is workplace violence, then the jfk assassination was a traffic incident.

It’s faggots like Casey who put the wuss in military. Damn! I can’t believe how the top brass are tearing up the image of our armed forces!!! If they keep it up the draft will come back. How can anyone take orders seriously from a guy who has too much sugar in the tank?!

  • FrankW

So it is no problem if the jihadi jerkwad is using a gun, we need only concern ourselves with bombers?
It surprises me that bammy did not give hasan a medal.

  • Lao in Space

Shooting innocent people to death is entirely different than bombing people to death. If you were as brilliant as I, you flakey parrots could actually grasp that concept.

Well, it seems that a lot of service members are suffering from “WORKPLACE VIOLENCE”. Especially those located in Afghanistan and Iraq !

So, if Obama wants to declare “Terrorism” as “Workplace Violence” then, of course under those conditions by all means, call it workplace violence.

But just remember this Obama, were gonna kill all of them MF’s who we know start shit in our …”workplaces”.

  • Jester

Sorry Jester, your memory is faulty

Ok — Help me out here. So your ‘logic’ is that since Hasan used a firearm instead of an explosive then he doesn’t count?

  • logic Mine

lao, I can recite a few Islamic Suicide bombers within the U.S.A. It’s called 9/11.

You see, what they did is strap airliners to thier backs loaded with fuel and detonated them by crashing them into buildings.

  • oldguy

Do you really believe the military academies are any different than any left-wing American university?

As usual, many of you are off in the ozone regarding what you think I believe.

I have no problem in characterizing the shootings at Fort Hood as an example of domestic Islamic terrorism.

I would characterize that attack as domestic Islamic terrorism as well.
