Well, after that lovely speech today from the fearless leader, it now has a change of status.

    Then

The daughter of former President Bill Clinton and ex-secretary of state Hillary Clinton explained in a recent interview why she left lucrative professions and opted for working with her family’s philanthropic foundation. ‘I was curious if I could care about (money) on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t,’ she said.

    NOW!

A college balks at Hillary Clinton’s fee, books Chelsea for $65,000 instead.

Apparently what Chelsea cares about is ACTUALLY HAVING TO WORK FOR A LIVING. She’d rather not.

The schedule she negotiated called for her to speak for 10 minutes, participate in a 20-minute, moderated question-and-answer session and spend a half-hour posing for pictures with VIPs offstage.

So… $65,000 per hour and the fiction she’s making ‘no personal income’ but what’s her salary from the foundation again?

Well, it could have been worse.

Hillary might have actually touched someone – and made them cry.

Is Hillary Clinton the lost Beatle? Or channeling Barack Obama circa 2008?

Her latest ad could certainly leave that impression.

The campaign ad, titled, “A Pledge,” features the candidate reaching out to a girl who says she has cystic fibrosis. Within moments, the girl was in tears.

If you listen real close Hillary says “DEMONS OUT!”

I hate to bring this sad news to you all… are you sitting down?

Michael Sam and his boyfriend split up. They aren’t getting married after all.

And get this… he didn’t make it with the Rams, didn’t make it with the Cowboys, but he’s now a member of the Montreal Alouettes.

    Somehow it figures.

    Alouettes.

The Montreal Alouettes are a Canadian football team based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1946, the team has folded and been revived twice. The Alouettes compete in the Eastern Division of the Canadian Football League and last won the Grey Cup championship in 2010.

Oh my, we wouldn’t want to offend a Moslem, would we?

In his note to parents, head teacher Martin Thalhammer explained that female students should dress especially modestly to avoid offending the Syrian refugees with the sight of too much skin.

“Revealing tops or blouses, short shorts or miniskirts could lead to misunderstandings,” Thalhammer instructed.

“The Syrian citizens are mainly Muslims and speak Arabic,” the head teacher wrote, according to Russia Today. “The refugees are marked by their own culture. Because our school is directly next to where they are staying, modest clothing should be adhered to.”

Of course if they were Christian refugees nobody would say any such thing.

Checking in on the fall of Greece and the latest epic fail of socialism:

Greece did default on its 1.7 Euro payment to the IMF yesterday 6/30/15. The country is set for a referendum on Sunday that proposes cuts to the “benefits” provided to “pensioners” in the Greek socialist system. Basically, it asks whether the people who are recieving free stuff would like to receive less free stuff. The suspense is killing me. Greek Marxist PM Alexis Tsipras is urging them to turn down the “austerity” measures and has requested an additional 29 Billion Euro loan to cover Greece;’s debt service payments for the next two years. Essentially, borrowing their way out of debt.

Banks are closed in Greece and people can only get 60 Euro per day from ATM machines. Even with those restrictions in place, banks are running out of bank notes, i.e. currency. The only solution will be to print more or inflation as is used to be called, thereby reducing the value of each note even further. Socialists are incapable of recognizing an economic death spiral.

Margaret Thatcher is reaching out from the grave to bitch slap these commie morons.

    This is America’s future.

Emails from Hillary’s secret account show she didn’t know when cabinet meetings were held, was dumbfounded by a fax machine and emailed aides to fetch her iced tea

The one that catches my eye would be the references to someone on her calendar named ‘Santa’ – a rich donor, perhaps Soros or another we don’t know about, who was funneling her illegal payments so they kept his (or her) name secret?

Or “Santa” could be a reference to the person managing ALL her illegal campaign cash.

They also show how Clinton ‘got around’ an Obama ban on Sidney Blumenthal, Clinton’s 2008 election hatchet-man who had officially been exiled from the administration.

He worked for her but was paid from the Clinton Crime Family Foundation.

‘I’m seeing Santa at 8:30,’ she wrote her deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin six months after taking office, ‘so won’t take off until closer to 9:30.’

Despite the collective shock inside the D.C. beltway when news surfaced that Clinton had a secret email account, many of Washington’s most influential Democrats were already in on it.

Political operative David Axelrod had her email address almost from the start, but claimed just weeks ago that he was unaware of it.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and then-White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel wrote to her at the now-infamous ‘HDR22@clintonemail.com.’

So did outgoing Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulski, liberal think tank chief John Podesta of the Center for American Progress, and lawyer-lobbyist Lanny Davis – who was later shamed for taking millions from West African strongmen.

She used her email to let aides know she was thirsy. ‘Pls call Sarah and ask her if she can get me some iced tea,’ one message read.

I once had a girlfriend who would actually phone me from other rooms in my house (I would be outside looking at the beach or on one end of the house and she on the other – it’s a large place) – that’s what this reminds me of.

Despite Denials, White House Aides Knew About – AND USED – Hillary’s Private E-Mail Account

Despite denials to the contrary, top Obama-administration officials were aware, within the first nine months of President Obama’s first term, of then–secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server to conduct government business. The White House has not said when President Obama and his lieutenants first learned of Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server, noting only that they became aware in August 2014, after Republican lawmakers got hold of the information, that it could become a political problem. But e-mails from 2009 show that chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and senior adviser David Axelrod understood at the time that Clinton used a private e-mail account and server for official business. Indeed, top officials were forced to explicitly ask Clinton aides for her e-mail address.

“Axelrod wants your emails,” read the subject line of an e-mail from Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills on June 8, 2009. “Can you send it to him or do you want me to?” Clinton replied from her e-mail account HDR22@clintonemail.com. “Does he know I can’t look at it all day so he needs to contact me thru you or Huma or Lauren during work hours.”

And in case liberals have issues with that last source

Former White House senior adviser David Axelrod said in June he was unaware Hillary Clinton conducted business from a personal email server when she served as secretary of State – but a State Department document dump Tuesday evening raises questions about how much he knew.

Asked last month (June 2015) in an interview whether he knew anything about Clinton’s “homebrew” system when they worked together in the Obama administration, Axelrod responded, “I didn’t know.”

However, correspondences from 2009 show that Axelrod may have had reason to know about Clinton’s questionable email behavior. While it’s possible Axelrod may not have been aware that Clinton was using a private server, he contacted her at least once with a “get better” note at one of her private email addresses.

Evidence of this begins with an email from Clinton’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, dated June 8, 2009.

“Axelrod wants your email – remind me to discuss with you if I forget,” Mills wrote.

Clinton responded that same day, writing, “Can you send to him or do you want me to? Does he know I can’t look at it all day so he needs to contact me thru you or Huma or Lauren during work hours.”

Ready for this? In all the hoopla over the terrible decisions of the USSC, they actually got one right (from icecap.us):

Supreme Court rules against EPA, for the poor

The Supreme Court decided today against EPA’s rule to limit trace emissions of mercury and other substances from power plants.

    This is good news.

The Court held that EPA failed to perform a meaningful cost-benefit analysis in promulgating the rule. Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for the majority, held that, “EPA strayed well beyond the bounds of reasonable interpretation in concluding that cost is not a factor relevant to the appropriateness of regulating power plants.”

This rule has been termed the costliest regulation ever. It has already caused damage to our economy and, if fully implemented, could be even more devastating.

Professor Willie Soon and CFACT senior policy advisor Paul Driessen co-authored an article regarding the EPA’s mercury rule that provides valuable perspective. In it they note:

“The latest government, university and independent studies reveal that those power plants emit an estimated 41-48 tons of mercury per year. However, U.S. forest fires emit at least 44 tons per year; cremation of human remains discharges 26 tpy; Chinese power plants eject 400 tpy; and volcanoes, subsea vents, geysers and other sources spew out 9,000-10,000 additional tons per year!”

All these emissions enter the global atmospheric system and become part of the U.S. air mass.

Thus, U.S. power plants account for less than 0.5% of all the mercury in the air Americans breathe. Even eliminating every milligram of this mercury will do nothing about the other 99.5% in America’s atmosphere.”

    More here.

As several news sources note, this Supreme Court ruling could also have implications for the President’s forthcoming plans to limit carbon emissions. Let’s hope it does –

Especially for the sake of working families and the poor.

And it’s a good thing Black Lives Matter:

The National Black Chamber of Commerce just released a study concluding EPA’s power plant carbon rule “would increase black poverty by 23 percent and cause the loss of 7 million jobs for black Americans by 2035.” The study also found that the EPA’ plan “would increase Hispanic poverty by 26 percent and cause the loss of 12 million jobs for Hispanic Americans by 2035.”

Of course, EPA may try to re-promulgate its mercury rule with a cost-benefit analysis attached. If that analysis is done honestly, the rule will be exposed for the mistake it is.

In the meantime, we have reason to be pleased with this Supreme Court ruling. It provides some good news headed into the 4th of July.

George Orwell, were he alive today, would be laughing so hard he’d probably soil himself.

This story has to do with “environmentalist” and “scientist” James Lovelock who became a GURU of moonbats everywhere when he started defining the idea of a self-regulating Earth controlled by the community of living organisms in September 1965.

Now Lovelock says of his warnings of catastrophe in his 2006 book, Revenge of Gaia: “It’s just as silly to be a denier as it is to be a believer. You can’t be certain.” “It [the impact from climate change] could be terrible within a few years, though that’s very unlikely, or it could be hundreds of years before the climate becomes unbearable,” he said. That’s not the end of the 94-year-old Lovelock’s heresies. As the Guardian reports: Lovelock reiterated his support for fracking for shale gas, which has been strongly backed by David Cameron and the government but vigorously opposed by anti-fracking activists and local people at sites from Salford to Balcombe in West Sussex. “The government is too frightened to use nuclear, renewables won’t work — because we don’t have enough sun — and we can’t go on burning coal because it produces so much CO2, so that leaves fracking. It produces only a fraction of the amount of CO2 that coal does, and will make Britain secure in energy for quite a few years. We don’t have much choice,” he said.

SO now the left hates him because he is a sort of ‘denier’ and, what’s worse, he supports fracking!

Same thing happened to Roger Revelle when he came to his senses.

Revelle was a powerful man, a noteworthy scientist and a significant force in San Diego in the 1950s. There is no doubt he is largely responsible for the respect given Scripps Institute of Oceanography and for locating the University of California at San Diego, UCSD, in La Jolla.

While serving as Director of Scripps, Revelle and one of his researchers wrote the first modern scientific paper that linked carbon dioxide released into the air from the burning of fossil fuels and the greenhouse effect and the warming of temperatures. This triggered an avalanche of research that eventually became the impetus behind the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the entire global warming movement.

But there is a twist. In 1988 Roger Revelle was having major second thoughts about whether carbon dioxide was a significant greenhouse gas. He wrote letters to two Congressmen about it. And in 1991 he co-authored a report for the new science magazine Cosmos in which he expressed his strong doubts about global warming and urged more research before any remedial action was taken.

At that point Mr. Gore pronounced Revelle as senile and refused to debate global warming. He continues to refuse to debate today. Many offers of 10s of thousands of dollars have been made such a debate. Today Gore sequestered the media at this event and set forth rules, no questions, no interviews.

I have learned that in 1991 Roger Revelle made a speech at the high powered, very private Summer enclave of powerful men and politicians at the Bohemian Grove in Northern California, where he apologized that his research sent so many people in the wrong direction on global warming.

He worried about the political fallout from the UN IPCC and Al Gore. A man named Donn Michael Schmidtman who lives in the San Francisco area was there that day and remembers the Revelle speech very well. He has told about it in some detail.

So think of the irony. Today Al Gore received the first Roger Revelle award, an honor named after the man who sent Gore on his global warming campaign.

But the truth is; Revelle realized that it was a false alarm and the science was flawed before he died.

And because he spoke out about how he was wrong the moonbats now despise him.

  • George Orwell, were he alive today, would be laughing so hard he’d probably soil himself.

In Orwell’s “1984”, today’s truth became tomorrow’s lie. Today’s hero became tomorrow’s despised enemy. And so it is when the rare moonbat comes to their senses or steps off the reservation.

Rapper Shawty Lo had eleven children by ten baby mamas and was all set to have a reality show with his current young girlfriend (not yet pregnant) when the NAACP accused the show of perpetuating negative stereotypes about the Black community, for telling the truth, and so the show was pulled.

I’m actually OK with that – not the kind of thing that needs to be in the mass media, though it was far from ‘perpetuating negative stereotypes about the Black community’, just telling the truth, as I noted above.
