I wondered how long a countermoonbat like Curt Schilling would last at rigidly leftist ESPN, given what they did to Hank Williams Jr. If not for some craven back-peddling, the answer would be: not much longer.
The sports network announced Tuesday it was pulling the analyst and former major league pitcher from its Little League World Series broadcast team over a tweet by Schilling that compared Muslims to Nazi-era Germans.
The observation that the thought cops at ESPN found impermissible for Schilling to express on his own Twitter feed (now deleted):
They can’t argue with what he said — not in light of ISIS, al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, et cetera — but they don’t have to. They just have to punish him and elicit his repentance to make sure everyone knows that you don’t go around shouting 2 + 2 = 4 in public if you want to keep your job.
Schilling had the courage to keep pitching as his shoe filled up with blood in Game 6 of the 2004 ALCS. But now he doesn’t have what it takes to stand up to the liberal weenies comprising the Powers That Be:
I understand and accept my suspension. 100% my fault. Bad choices have bad consequences and this was a bad decision in every way on my part.

His Sunday Night Baseball gig ought to be secure for a while. I sure hope so, considering what he paid for it in terms of self-respect by selling out.
Consider what it means that in our society it is not permissible to point out, on your own Twitter feed, that the people responsible for this…
…might be a threat we need to take seriously.
There was a time when no American would have put up with being muzzled by authoritarians. Now even the few who speak out are soon reduced to cringing apologies. As a culture, we are dying a truly contemptible death.
Although the totalitarian dhimmi moonbats running ESPN are vile beyond my powers of description, don’t bother turning the channel. ESPN stands out as more intolerant than most, but the entire establishment is controlled by the same sort of people, as we witnessed when it abruptly became impossible to buy a flag representing the South at any major retailer almost instantly after the Rebel Flag was targeted for eradication by leftists.
