Dave, you are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome or TDS. Pulling your head out of your ass and realizing that Boobio and Cruz are just as slimy as the rest of the political reprobates that clam to represent us will cure this ailment.

To win, The Donald is telling Americans what we need to hear, while Cruz and Boobio need to tell us what we want to hear to win.

Is portraying Cruz as shelley duvall really that smart a move? lol

Thomas Sowell – Last Chance for America?

    Last Chance for America?
    Thomas Sowell
The “Super Tuesday” primaries may be a turning point for America — and quite possibly a turn for the worse. After seven long years of domestic disasters and increasing international dangers, the next President of the United States will need extraordinary wisdom, maturity, depth of knowledge and personal character to rescue America.

Instead, if the polls are an indication, what we may get is someone with the opposite of all these things, a glib egomaniac with a checkered record in business and no track record at all in government — Donald Trump.

If so, the downward trajectory of America over the past seven years may well continue on into the future, to the point of no return.
But these political problems are a sideshow, in a world where Iran is guaranteed to get nuclear weapons and North Korea, which already has them, is developing long-range missiles that can reach American cities. Iran is also developing long-range missiles.

Then there are the international terrorist organizations from the Middle East — many sponsored by Iran — whose agents have had easy access to the United States across our open border with Mexico.
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump’s theatrical talents, including his bluster and bombast, may be enough to conceal his shallow understanding of very deep problems. But that will not cut it in the White House, where you cannot clown or con your way out of problems, and where the stakes are matters of life and death.

Trump’s acting like a bull in a china shop may appeal to some voters but, in the world as it is, he may well cost us our last chance to recover from the great dangers into which the Obama administration has gotten this nation.

We already have an ego-driven, know-it-all president who will not listen to military or intelligence agency experts. Do we need to tempt fate by having two in a row?
When we think of American military heroes who have fallen on enemy hand grenades to save those around them, at the cost of their own lives, is it really too much to ask candidates — especially those who present themselves as patriots — to give up their one political chance in a zillion this year for the sake of the country?

Voters have a responsibility too. They might well ask themselves: Do I plan to use my vote to vent my emotions or to try to help save this country?

New CNN Poll: Rubio 50, Clinton 47; Cruz 49, Clinton 48; Clinton 52, Trump 44

New CNN Poll: Rubio 50, Clinton 47; Cruz 49, Clinton 48; Clinton 52, Trump 44
As voters head to the polls today in 12 states for Super Tuesday, CNN has a new national poll out that shows Marco Rubio does the best against likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton with GOP front-runner Donald Trump losing badly:

    CNN nat’l poll:
    Clinton 52 vs Trump 44
    Clinton 47 vs Rubio 50
    Clinton 48 vs Cruz 49
    margin of error: +/- 3

    From CNN:

In the scenario that appears most likely to emerge from the primary contests, Clinton tops Trump 52% to 44% among registered voters. That result has tilted in Clinton’s favor since the last CNN/ORC Poll on the match-up in January.

But when the former secretary of state faces off with either of the other two top Republicans, things are much tighter and roughly the same as they were in January. Clinton trails against Rubio, with 50% choosing the Florida senator compared to 47% for Clinton, identical to the results in January. Against Cruz, Clinton holds 48% to his 49%, a slight tightening from a 3-point race in January to a 1-point match-up now.

    Hillary, at least, is happy.

“So the stories are always going to be the same, right?” explained Omar Zamora, public affairs officer for the U.S. Border Patrol Rio Grande Valley Sector. “The pull factors, it’s going to be family reunification and some sort of economic benefit, just trying to get here to get a job and send money back home. In addition to that, we hear that there’s violence. We’ve got gangs over there that are controlling the neighborhoods, controlling the cities.”

“In the past few months the number of unaccompanied alien minors unlawfully entering the U.S. soared to over 17,000 and the number of family units increased to 21,000,” Chair Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) informed the U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security in a February 4 hearing on Capitol Hill. “If these trends continue it is predicted there will be a 30 percent increase in the record high numbers we witnessed in 2014.”

Two Israeli soldiers said to be using a traffic app mistakenly entered a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank overnight, sparking clashes that killed one Palestinian and wounded 15 people, officials said Tuesday.

The two soldiers travelling in a jeep entered the Qalandiya refugee camp and were targeted with rocks and Molotov cocktails, Israeli officials said.

Israeli reinforcements were then deployed to the camp between Jerusalem and Ramallah to rescue them, provoking further clashes that lasted hours. The two soldiers were later rescued unharmed.

Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon said the soldiers “apparently used Waze,” the Israeli-developed navigation app now owned by Google.

It was not clear whether the app led them into the camp and the military said it was investigating. Waze includes an option to “avoid dangerous areas.”

According to an Israeli police spokeswoman, Palestinians threw homemade explosives and shot at the rescue team, which also opened fire.

The Palestinian health ministry said one Palestinian was killed and 10 wounded. The dead man was identified as Eyad Omar Sajdia, a 22-year-old student.

A student stole teacher Leigh Anne Arthur’s cell phone, found a nude picture on the device, then sent the image to other students through text messages and social media.

The situation prompted school officials to take action — against the teacher — by giving Arthur an ultimatum: either resign or the district will initiate the termination process, Union County schools superintendent David Eubanks told The State.

Arthur told WYFF she took the partially nude pictures for her husband for Valentine’s Day, and doesn’t think she should be held responsible for the theft, which occurred while she was patrolling the halls.

“He took pictures from my phone and sent them from his phone,” Arthur said.

“He knows right and wrong. He had the ultimate decision to take pictures of my pictures, and he had the ultimate decision to send them out,” she said. “He had to hit my apps button and to open up all my apps and then open my gallery.”

Three Gopher basketball players have been sidelined, and there are reports that two graphic sex tapes are to blame.

The U announced that two freshmen and one sophomore were being suspended just minutes before Sunday night’s game against the University of Illinois.

Comments on the message board website said one of the players, Kevin Dorsey, posted two graphic sex tapes to his Twitter account on Friday. Dorsey’s Twitter account is no longer active.

The U issued a brief statement that said freshmen Kevin Dorsey and Dupree McBrayer and sophomore Nate Mason were being disciplined for violating team rules.

“There are expectations and standards to which we hold our student-athletes accountable, and they have failed to do so,” head coach Rick Pitino said in the statement.

One fan who goes by “die hard gopher” on Gopherhole said he saw the videos, and that both showed two men having sex with one woman. He also said the women were different in each video.

  • Forget about climate change – the most likely catastrophes are all natural – INCLUDING climate change, which is less likely than another megathrust earthquake and resulting tsunami, or fire from the sky, to be what causes the most grief.

There have been a number of sightings of significant meteor events lately.

The brightest star in the night sky is Sirius, known as the ‘dog star’ or Alpha Canis Majoris.

But that could be about to change if a crowdfunded project in Russia takes off as planned later this year.

Called the ‘Mayak’ or ‘Beacon’ project, engineers are hoping to launch a satellite that will become the brightest object in our skies, apart from the sun, thanks to a giant reflective sheet of material.

The team is planning to place the spacecraft in a sun-synchronous orbit 370 miles (600km) above the ground.

This means it will always be in the path of sunlight, so will always be shining at different locations on Earth as it rotates.

Will this “shine on locations” where the people don’t want it to shine perhaps?

The extended daylight hours in high latitudes do cause some people problems.

The U.N. climate panel’s former chairman, Rajendra Pachauri, was charged Tuesday with stalking and sexually harassing a woman who worked at the New Delhi environmental think tank he’s headed for more than three decades.

Police filed the case in a Delhi court after investigating a complaint by one of Pachauri’s colleagues at The Energy Research Institute, Press Trust of India said.

Pachauri resigned soon after the above allegations became widely known.

Clashes between police and migrants continued into Monday evening after authorities moved in earlier in the day to dismantle parts of the refugee camp known as the Jungle.

The homes of up to 200 people of the approximately 3,500 people living in the camp had been demolished by the middle of the day, according to a British refugee aid group, as smoke went up from blazes engulfing makeshift shelters.

  • Let’s hope this trend can be started/encouraged here:

Refugees buying one-way tickets home after finding Germany intolerable

Homesick and eager to be back with his wife and four small children in Basra, Abdulla was giving up his refugee status as he boarded a crowded Iraqi Airways flight from Berlin’s Tegel Airport to Baghdad that would whisk him and 150 other disillusioned former refugees back home in five hours.

He had scraped together his last $325 for the flight to Iraq — a small fraction of the money he had paid to smugglers last summer to get to Germany by foot, bus and boat through Turkey, Greece, the Balkans and Austria.

But now, after more than 1.1 million refugees from troubled lands such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan have trekked into Germany over the last 13 months, a small but growing number are heading home.

We need to figure out how to encourage similar behavior among “refugees” here.

  • Just remember that running AS a Republican does not MAKE Trump one.

Fears of Trump as Fascist Echo Similar Warnings Against Ronald Reagan

And moonbats still cringe at Reagan’s name to this day.

How panicked should we be about the rise of Donald Trump? A professor at Harvard, Danielle Allen, recently published a widely shared op-ed piece in the Washington Post likening his rise to that of Hitler in Germany.

My question is how much different will a Trump presidency be from a Clinton (Hillary) or Sanders presidency and I suspect the answer is NOT MUCH. I would think it would be less damaging overall, but not much perhaps.

  • To moonbats, equality only fosters worse equality.

This from a group who claims to be unbaised, but is anything but, called mic check daily that claims to present stories that force you to rethink the world – in liberal moonbat terms.

There is a leap day tradition that encourages women to propose to men.

They claim it may seem charming, but it’s actually pretty sexist. That it helps to reinforce centuries-old gender stereotypes.

It creates more potentially happy, well-adjusted couples, so of course moonbats have to attack it:

Which only proves that moonbats will find a way to complain about anything.

They say the fact that women only get a chance to propose to men once every four years is sexist.

What’s stopping women from proposing to men any time of any day or year?

  • From the “IT FIGURES” department: In response to a plethora of evidence that establishes beyond any doubt that there are “serious questions” about the integrity of Hillary Clinton, the Clinton attack machine uses the “I know you are, but what am I” strategy and fires back that there are “serious questions” about the integrity of the State Department Office of Inspector General (OIG).

The OIG is locked in an increasingly contentious fight with Clinton’s campaign on a host of issues, including her use of a private email account during her time as secretary of State.

It has also reportedly subpoenaed the Clinton Foundation for documents related to charity projects and is investigating close Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s work as a “special government consultant” while she worked at State.

Now an unnamed “source with in the OIG” is allegedly claiming that the office has grown increasingly partisan, accusing it of having an “anti-Clinton” bias.

This from a source that appears to have significant liberal and apparently pro-Clinton bias.

Gerber argued that while Clinton was at State, Harold Geisel, a career State Department official, served as interim IG and that “Secretary Clinton and her political operatives aren’t used to the work of a permanent, Senate-confirmed inspector general since she didn’t have one during her entire tenure as secretary.

“If Secretary Clinton and her aides want to resolve the many outstanding questions, they should start cooperating more fully with investigators and stop seeing a conspiracy where there is independent oversight,” Gerber said.

  • Slate, a hardcore liberal moonbat source, has it backwards – the Democrats are the ones taking big dollar donations from fat cats as much as, or even more than, Republicans:

    Folks Before Kochs

To save itself, the Republican Party must finally put the working class ahead of the donor class.

For the record, the Koch brothers also donate to some left-wing causes, groups and candidates.

Donald J. Trump is laying waste to the conservative movement. His overwhelming lead in Super Tuesday polls stands as further evidence, if further evidence were even necessary, that his appeal among Republicans is deep and durable, even as his campaign makes a mockery of conservative ideals. While conservatives have traditionally emphasized the central importance of limited government, Trump has built his campaign around the promise of an unlimited government that will solve every problem that ails America, provided it is fully under his command.

  • The creeping evil of liberalism:

Police are to be handed sweeping powers to hack into people’s phones and computers and spy on their web-browsing histories under draconian new laws published today.

Home Secretary Theresa May has announced a massive extension of the spying powers originally drawn up to help the security services fight terrorists.

Under the draft version of the Investigatory Powers Bill published last year – dubbed the ‘Snooper’s Charter’ – the most intrusive spying powers would only have been available to spy agencies MI5 , MI6 and GCHQ.

But under a rewritten version unveiled today Mrs May said police should also be allowed to spy on people’s internet use as part of their everyday work.

In a move that will dismay privacy campaigners, her new-look ‘Snooper’s Charter’ gives cops the power to spy on people’s web browsing history whenever they deem it “necessary” as part of any investigation.

Bullshit. Every damned issue that is being discussed is because Trump shed the light on it. Teddy would busy passing around soccer balls and handing out Teddy Bears, holding Beck’s hand while listening to the Goldman/Sachs greatest hits. Wake the hell up yourself. I held elected office. I participated in the well-oiled machine, both county and state-wide. I am finished.
If all Trump accomplishes is setting the example for others to shun the UniParty and establishment politics, I will be satisfied. The Republican Party has had plenty of time to get their shit together and instead have proven themselves the be as disingenuous as the Democrats.

    Clinton Courts Black Vote

SPARTANBURG, South Carolina (WNB) – Hillary Clinton denied accusations that her new hairstyle and wardrobe is an attempt to make her “look more black.” Clinton sported the look as she visited black churches and community centers in Spartanburg, South Carolina ahead of the upcoming primary election.

“I often wear my hair like this at home. You know, it is naturally curly – probably due to the fact my great, great grandmother was fifteen percent Mullato,” Clinton told reporters on Thursday.

So far, feedback from the local black community on Clinton’s new look has been mixed. “She maybe look better than before, but that ain’t sayin’ much,” said entertainer Shaquandra Porshe Brown. “I’d hit that,” said the Reverand Rashon T. Washington. (parody)

Presented for your review and comment:

Americans are more than twice as likely to identify themselves as conservative rather than liberal on economic issues, 46% to 20%. The gap is narrower on social issues, but conservatives still outnumber liberals, 38% to 28%.

I find that individuals who identify as Republican have slightly higher verbal intelligence than those who identify as Democrat (2–5 IQ points), and that individuals who supported the Republican Party in elections have slightly higher verbal intelligence than those who supported the Democratic Party (2 IQ points).

  • TAKE THE QUIZ – I did, see below.

I very nearly got 1 wrong – had I rushed, I would have, but I took a second & remembered reading the answer some time back. So TAKE YOUR TIME if you’re not sure. Most of these you will get the right answer if you think about it.

  • And if I had a lunatic liberal side, it would say:

You have proven nothing. Liberals are so smart that they know there is no such thing as an objective standard, simple fact, or truth. Therefore, the Pew quiz is just a philosophical construct made up by conservatives to support their own truth. True knowledge isn’t about correct or incorrect, but rather about how one feels about it.

  • Yeah… but nobody in their right mind would vote for another Bush or Clinton… which brings me to my next point about Democrats and their likely voting in 2016!

  • If violent crime is to be curbed, it is ultimately only the intended victim who can do it. The felon does not fear the police, does not respect or care about gun laws. He does not fear any judge, jury, potential incarceration or the death penalty. Therefore the only solution is he must fear his potential victim enough that he decides it’s not worth the risk.

A modified version of a quote attributed to a LtCol Jeff Cooper.

Homeland Security A Shambles, Falling Apart Under Jihadi Jeh Johnson

It’s bad enough that the mission of the Department of Homeland Security has been redirected from preventing the invasion of America to facilitating it and from enforcing immigration law to negating and nullifying it. Additionally, a recent Inspector General report outlines how the condition of our facilities have deteriorated dramatically under the criminal mismanagement and neglect of anti-American subversive and Homeland “Security” Secretary Jeh Johnson. Johnson only manages like an imbecile because it suits the regime’s open borders, Marxist purposes. He’s not stupid, he’ a Columbia-educated lawyer who served as General Counsel for the Department of Defense. What he’s doing to our border enforcement has to be deliberate.

The report, which was released on February 9th, details a litany of situations in which problems have been ignored which impact our security and the ability of agents to do their jobs. There are also health concerns and instances of critical facilities not even being open and staffed.

4 of the 11 Forward Operating Bases along the Mexican border are not operational. Those facilities are vital to our defense against both invasion and criminal activities. As noted by CNSNews from the report, those are “permanent” facilities “established in forward or remote locations to sustain Border Patrol operations.” They are located in areas “where there is a high degree of illegal alien crossings and drug running. The IG described FOB’s as being “indispensable to Border Patrol intelligence, deterrence, and rapid response.”

They’re described as indispensible, yet four of them are shut down as our nation is being flooded with heroin, other drugs and people. How are we to believe that terrorists are not part of the trafficking mix? It’s not too hard to guess why the cartels are having such an easy time with their drug trafficking. Jihadi Jeh Johnson and Obama want it that way. We can speculate as to their motivations.

  • They’re blaming ‘sex slavery’ but HIV/AIDS is most commonly transmitted by men having sex with men…

AIDS Is Now Running Rampant Amongst ISIS Fighters And Its Getting So Bad That They Even Set Up An AIDS Center

ISIS has now established an AIDS center since AIDS is being acquired from their practice of sex slavery. It was stunning hearing about AIDS infection among ISIS members since “AIDS” most often spreads through gay sex, promiscuous sex with an infected person, or by sharing drug needles, which are supposedly prohibited by ISIS. As it seems, that sex slavery is going rampant and ISIS is now forced to screen their fighters and their slaves as well. Logic dictates that ISIS is filled with bi-sexuals who are transmitting AIDS to the sex slaves who in turn are infecting ISIS fighters who desire to practice Islamic sex slavery.

They’re also claiming a blood donor from Indonesia was “patient zero”.
