Trumpbart: Rush Limbaugh’s Freudian Slip

Rush Limbaugh didn’t get this far by recklessly shooting off his mouth. He has been circumspect regarding the threat of Donald Trump hijacking the Republican Party and destroying conservatism from within, making it clear that he prefers Ted Cruz but not taking a firm stand against Trump, apparently afraid of alienating the Donald’s vindictive supporters. You almost have to guess at what Rush is really thinking. This Freudian slip offers a clue:

Calling Breitbart by its pejorative nickname “Trumpbart” may shine some light on his actual attitudes, particularly in the context of the exuberantly pro-Trump Breitbart throwing its own reporter Michelle Fields under the bus after Trump’s campaign manager manhandled her.

Via Right Scoop, on a tip from Torcer.

    *****Trump destroying conservatism from within******

Which part of “Conservatism” is Trump destroying? The open borders part? The shipping of millions of jobs to Asia part? or the voting for trillions in new debt part?

What you call “Conservatism” does not exist. There is only one political party: the party of Big Government.

  • Dolan Tump

So she and another reporter from a different outlet concocted this conspiracy and even acted out the audio exchange?

  • Tadpole

Exactly! Eight years of slavish devotion to Obama’s prog program is what destroyed the Conservative movement from within. Trump is merely the necessary broom to sweep the so-called “conservative movement” away.

  • RAMA44

How anyone can listen to Flush Limburger is beyond me. The sound of snot when this dude breathes is enough to gag a maggot. But to each his own I suppose.

  • Buffalobob

It wasn’t so much that she was thrown under the bus as much as she was evicted from the bus for licking the windows.

  • O Manning

Sounds like she was floating a balloon and bouncing an idea off another reporter to see if it would fly and almost as if she was driving it into the consciousness of another potential “witness” so they would remember it.

It seems the other “journalist” she was bouncing it off of was there to write a negative piece on Trump. Convenient, no? This no different from journalists “livening” up their narrative by “dodging enemy fire” or politicians who “dodged sniper fire in Bosnia”.

Getting “manhandled at a political rally” is the political season’s equivalent to the hurricane season’s “be filmed braving death in high winds”.

  • Chocolate&Cheese

I have a question. Will the hate hoax blog add this hate hoax to their log, or will they continue to drive a false narrative with it? Moonbattery indeed.

  • O Manning

I don’t listen to him much (he’s not in my listening area reliably) but I have to say that’s a characteristic I haven’t really noticed. Seems to me you’d have to listen with an intent that’s almost unsettling to fixate on it to that degree.

  • Chocolate&Cheese

I just hope everyone plainly sees how dishonest she is and NO ONE buys her book due out in the next few months.

  • Jim

@Dave Blount – You are showing all the attributes of a bottom feeder. Just an observation.

  • RAMA44

Not really, 10 minutes and he would do it at least twice.Check it out!

Haven’t heard from Ann on MB for some time now:

Fox News & Cruz are American traitors, in league with the liberal
establishment. Silent majority must face fire from a unified oligarchy.

We win or lose with Trump and only Trump.

The lady attempted to pull off an injury by a Donald Trump person but it was a hoax!
Breitbart has been in the pocket of Cruz. I do not want to see Cruz as the president.
I have stopped listening to Limbaugh. He has done everything he can to push Cruz without actually endorsing him. At least Levin has come out for Cruz. Both of them will lose listeners because of this.
What have the so-called conservatives done for us during the past 20 plus years? The country is ready for a change and that would be Donald J. Trump.

  • I hereby nominate Dave Blount as the Head Moonbat for his hysterical support of the ineligible, “naturalized” citizen, Ted Cruz for POTUS.

You keep beating that dead horse Davey-boy!

  • O Manning

That’s why I suggest an unhealthy level of attention being paid. Normal people simply don’t listen that closely…simply to claim offense.

  • Sauer Thirtyeight

I detect a few unwarranted assumptions here.

Even if we grant the proposition that Trump is hijacking the Republican party, what does that have to do with conservatism? Looking to the Repub party as currently constituted for anything resembling conservatism is a bit like Humphrey Bogart going to Casablanca “for the waters.”

It also occurs to me that Breitbart management, as a result of cumulative experience, just might know a few things about the reliability of one of their employees. This might in turn explain their lack of excitement about what may be just another of her string of … interesting … stories.

  • Tadpole

I am one of Levin’s lost listeners. Five years without missing one podcast. Can’t bear him at the moment.

  • Xavier

She knows how to pick ’em, doesn’t she?
Romney and Christy were both awesome.

  • 762×51

Conservatism is an ideology, not a political party. Getting lost in the R vs. D shuffle is part of the game being played by the PROGRESSIVES that run both parties.

Trump is Progressive, he has supported Progressive causes and actions with his words and money for decades. The difference between the Progressive Romney and the Progressive Trump is Trump has more money. John McCain, Mitch McConnell, Boehner, Ryan, progressives all. Trump can’t do half of what he promises and has done the opposite of the other half of what he promises.

You will just be electing another Progressive in Trump and nothing will change, just like always.

  • 762×51

Trump can have the Republican Party and shove it up his ass for all I care. I wouldn’t just vote the GOP establishment out of office, I’d roast them on a spit over a slow fire.

However, there will be no conservative base to go to the polls and elect him. As you saw the other night in Chiraq, the left will not vote for him so who is his constituency? 35% of what used to be the Republican Party and a few independents, really just disaffected Democrats?

He will still have to ”deal” with McConnell and Ryan, those assholes love to make deals, especially ones that benefit them and their special interest cronies against the interests of the citizens of this country.

So tell me, how will that change ANYTHING?

  • 762×51

Conservatives haven’t had a voice for the last 25 years so nothing. That is because imbeciles keep electing Progressives from both parties. R and D is irrelevant because the Progtards infest both parties. You go ahead and elect another Progressive named Trump, nothing will change, just like with Obama because they are all PROGRESSIVES!! Stupid cannot be fixed.

  • jayeS

There’s been other stories that she has fabricated about being abused and it has all turned out to be fabricated stories. Nothing happened to this woman, she self-inflicted the bruise to get attention. Here’s another twist to her story – all fabricated.

  • jayeS

Levin has that same whiny voice as Cruz. I have to turn them off whenever they start yakking out of their pie hole. What some ass wipes are saying about Trump are the same ass wipes that said stuff about Reagan. I voted for Reagan and I plan to vote for Trump. Go Trump!

  • jayeS

He repeats himself too much. I tune in then I have to tune out. I can’t stand his paper rustling in the back ground or his hand pounding the table. He’s just plan ole annoying, not interesting at all to listen to.

  • ramrodd

Not sure whether to begin with Rushbo or the political process!

Bombshell Expose’ – Conservative Radio: Limbaugh, Ingraham, Hannity and
Levin Were All Part of Gang-of-Eight “Gaslighting”.

Fox News via Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly
meeting with Chuck Schumer, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio capturing promises
to deliver favorable opinion for immigration reform. However, we did not know
how far the scope of the influence was extended, nor did we know Rush Limbaugh
was a direct participant. We also did not know that Laura Ingraham and Mark
    Levin were lobbied to participate.

Senators argued how damaging the word “amnesty” was to their efforts, and
walked Mr. Limbaugh through their vision for an immigration overhaul.

As I am an Aussie, and not up with US politics, why the Trump hate? I see other sites that like him and hate Cruze. Why do they hate Cruze? I understand why all the Democrats are un-electable, so who is the best candidate, and why?
For the sake of the US, I hope the best is voted in!

Typical elitist, you are grasping for straws.

  • Karma’s Janitor

The politicians in the republican side of views became disconnected from their base by not following through with the agenda they promised to deliver. They complied with the current democratic president to promote a larger welfare and government dependent society. With foreign trade, they have taken the direction of the big business donors to their campaign chests. Jobs and wealth have been flowing out of the country.
Terrible to see a country with so much natural resources and wealth squandered by a few whose real intent is to maintain power and fill their pockets.
Trump threatens to dump that out on the table for all to see. Then rebuild it. He hasn’t received any multimillionaire donations and in fact refuses to accept them. Thus the hate. Trump supporters have made it clear to the establishment that they want them all gone. Period.

  • Fiberal

And with that I assume that you were one of the purists that sat at home in 2012 while Fragile-X BO strutted his stuff into the white house for a second term.

  • Artfuldgr

if your going to say this
Donald Trump hijacking the Republican Party

Then your implying that only establishement people approved by the polituburo oligharcy can be president.. {otherwise, how else can you claim a hijack???]

and since Cruz is not hijacking he must be etablisment… (as is bernie and hillary)

nice freudian slip in which Dave admits Cruz is establishment…

meanwhile, the more you fight for establishment, the more the real people wake up and wont let you shame them, hate them, make fun of them, riot them, etc.. out of their choice of president…

yes. the people are hijacking the election from the establishment
and the establishment wants cruz… ergo ipso facto, cruz is establishment

  • Artfuldgr

they hate trump cause he is wealthy, a big mouth, is not married to goldman sachs, doe snot have a S&L bailout banker on his core team, does not have a man who imported cocain to fund overthrow of nicaragua and send weapons to iran (And was pardoned for the crimes), and more..

ie. he is really not part of the establishment and they are willing to fight as communists do to have cruz win cause they think that he is anti establishment when he refused to vote against loretta lynch, refused to let the election commission know about his illegal personal loans for the campaign (and he is a lawyer, so dont say he forgot), etc.

these reasons are also why they have to ahte and do what the left does. after all, how do you negate the man who helped create the crack crisis in the US and the man who started the too big to fail for bankers stuff on your team and have goldman sachs fund your elections… and claim to be anti establishment

  • Artfuldgr

Terrible to see a country with so much natural resources and wealth
squandered by a few whose real intent is to maintain power and fill
    their pockets.

does that apply to the USA, Russia, or Africa?

  • Artfuldgr

happens once a year at shopright … wait for the singing commercials
“now, shopright does the con con”…

  • Artfuldgr

if that were true at all his numbers would have tanked and not been so hard to manipulate downwards… ie. if he is THAT low, that means that cruz and others are even lower…

  • Artfuldgr

What have the so-called conservatives done for us during the past 20 plus years?

Reached across the aisle to collude with the opposition against the people?

  • Artfuldgr

When a anti-establishment man can have his first election funded by goldman sachs, marries goldman sachs, has goldman sachs as one of their largest donators to their election, and largest to pacs, and your wife is CFR, and one of your election chronies is CFR… one is a bank bail out originator for Silverado, one is the guy that helped start the crack epidemic setting blacks to distrust government for these people preying on them…

dont be surprised that not much changes..

the funny stuff is to go back and hear Dave Blount complain about bank bail outs, then read this stuff with him sideing with a man who hires such!!!

    even FUNNIER
he complains that Trump had bankruptcies that cost trump and his investors money, but favors a candidate whose team member costed 1.3 billion of US taxpayer money when his thing failed.

how does trump losing his own money make him bad
while cruz, neil bush, losiong 1.3 billion of ours make cruz good?

  • Artfuldgr

yeah, but her most recent has been to be for cruz… not trump

  • Artfuldgr

I see their True Colors shining through….

you have to love his alexa ratings

    has 199,439 – LOST 38,985

since he has gone to the hard left over cruz he has lost 40,000 viewers.
    a 16% drop…

keep it up dave, and you will learn why there is such poverty without power in socialists…

  • Artfuldgr

he has paid off progressives who wont permit him to build unless he makes a show to them..

you would claim Oskar Shindler was a nazi for working with them..

  • Xavier

    Assume what you want, moron.

  • Xavier

Aww did I hurt your widdle feewings?

All you have to do is look at the primary totals, dummy. But wait, that would require a Trump Troll to recognize and admit reality, can’t have that.

  • 762×51

How much money did you loose with Goldman Sachs? You are fucking psychotic about them.

Better diversify and look into chemtrails and black helicopters for awhile. It’ll help give you some perspective.

  • Sue Sanderson

I hate it that Limbaugh has chosen to remain “neutral” on Trump. Many people are risking and losing a lot to stand against the Donald!

  • Fiberal

I wish people on MB would learn how to use informal fallacies correctly.

  • Artfuldgr

Dante: The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in time of moral crisis maintain their neutrality.

  • 762×51

Yeah, because corrupt city officials are just like the SS.

Having no principles of your own prevents you from seeing the difference between the two, of course. Who would have lived or died if Trump didn’t payoff Reid and Pelosi?

The answer, in this case, is unborn children who were murdered in the Planned Parenthood death factories. Shindler didn’t work with the Nazis to further the goals of the Final Solution..
