Why a Trump Nomination Will Mean Supermajorities for the Democrats in Congress

Out of anger β€” i.e., malice β€” a belligerent mob is destroying the Republican Party, which has been left defenseless by divided opposition.

It isn’t just the White House that will be lost due to this unfolding catastrophe. Even those who find Donald Trump appealing cannot help but be aware that a large majority of Americans despise him. Democrats will be running ads like this nonstop from now to November to make sure that when he goes down, he takes the House and Senate with him:

If the appalling Trump phenomenon can’t be stopped before he secures the nomination, the Democrats will win all 50 states. Coattails will ensure they have a stranglehold on both houses of Congress. The supermajority Democrat Senate will gladly confirm the leftists Hillary loads onto the Supreme Court.

The radical left will have complete control of the federal government, despite the election having been the GOP’s to lose. Then the dupes who made it happen will blame the conservatives who tried to warn them.

On a tip from GhostRider2001.

The Rothschild fed RINO hogs slurping away with the communists (Democrats) sure are panicking that Trump will cut them off from the trough and finally give the American people a break. All this ooga-booga scaremongering about Trump losing to PIAPS (he’s going to annihilate her) or the downside ticket being hurt (he’s brought millions of new voters to the party) is just sour-grapes RINO horsesh*t.

Kepp crying, RINOs, all it does is drive even more people to vote for Trump!

If you screw Trump out of the nomination……

the Republican Party and the GOPe are dead……

You just don’t listen to your supporters…….and you’re getting ready to be taught a life lesson.

Hogwash. Bitter is the taste after a huge loss last night. Trump 2016! Eat your lunch now.

Oh, please: the repukes already told you they would rather shrillery than trump- so that is who you are going to get. none of the trump supporters will vote for anyone else they put up; the repubs will now go the way of the whigs after tuesday; they have shown their hand with the kasich win in ohio. trump will not make the convention with enough delegates. they will broker some puppet into the nomination (cruz? thinking he might be acceptable to the populists) trump might run third party, whatever- Hillary is a shoe-in. it was fun while it lasted. the commies win again. kruschev is laughing at us from hell.

I just read the latest Gallup poll WRT Obama’s approval rating. The results are 51% Approval – 43% disapproval. Now of the disapproval, I think it’s safe to assume a large segment is made up of those that think Obama is not liberal enough.
I say that to say this: Contrary to popular opinion, the USA has majority left leaning to far left population. Because of that, Republicans simply cannot win a national election without attracting in independents and Blue Dog Dems. Look, we are living in 2016 America, not 1988 America. Massive changes have taken place since then. If Ted Cruz were candidate in 1988 or 1992 and was running against Trump in the primary, Trump would have near zero support. But like I said, things have changed , both culturally and demographically; racial diversity and multiculturalism have taken over. Back in 1988 non-Hispanic whites made up 80% of the population; in 2016 non- Hispanics whites comprise barely 60% of the population. So do the math! The result can only add up to a sum in which a strict constructionist like Cruz has virtually no chance to beat a left lib … even a flawed left-lib like Hillary. Trump however is a nationalist. He draws support outside the GOP like no other GOP can. Nationalism is where its at. Nationalism is the wining strategy. I can only wish a strict constructionist could win the WH but that would be wishful thinking. The reality is we’ve already reached and passed the demographic tipping point. Wake up to the reality. Right leaning nationalism is the only path forward to a WH victory.

You fuckers must be joking. You said you needed the House and voters gave you the House. But then you said you couldn’t do it without the Senate and the voters gave you the Senate. What’s the excuse today?
That drunk Boehner was boasting how he was Obama’s Best Friend. Ryan gave Obama all the money he needs to make it to the end of his term. What difference does having the House and Senate in GOPe hands make? Nuttin’ honey.
Trump may not be conservative, but that term is meaningless. These clowns fight for nothing but pork barrel spending. This isn’t a government its a criminal organization where the political insiders pay off donors with taxpayer money. They’re just skeered that Trump will appoint an Attorney General to send their criminal asses to Jail is all this is here.
This game is OVER. Its Trump or War. This bullshit about its racist not to hand our country over to Third World gutter trash flies about as well as you Turkeys do.

  • Willard the Newt

RINOs or PC conservatives can’t win a national election either. Only right leaning nationalists can win against progs.

  • jeffunde

Agreed! What difference does it make who will get control of the Senate/House, heck it’s being run now just like the Democrats are in control.

  • Wilberforce

Dave, you got’em waiting at the door, just itching to pounce! πŸ™‚

  • JeffersonSpinningInGrave

I’m not a Trump fan, but I don’t think the picture is as bleak as this. The Senate could go Dem in 2016, but not the House. And a supermajority is pretty unlikely. And I think Trump might beat Hilary. While they both have close to saturated name recognition and majority negative ratings, if you look at the trajectory Trumps negatives have been going down, and Hilarys have been going up. I don’t know about Trump’s continued trajectory, but Hilary will continue to go down. She’s not a very likeable person, and the more people get to know about her the less they like her. So, I think we have (soon, had) better options for 2016, but I don’t think things are as bad as this article makes them out to be. Much will depend on who comes to the polls. I can’t get excited about the idea of President Trump, but doing my best to be objective, that’s the way it looks to me.

I am going to have to beg to differ with this idiotic opinion. I have been
railing for years that we could have had a communist free White House
from 1980 to present. Dissatisfaction over a tax increase GHW Bush
was snookered into, led him to be unceremoniously defeated by a new
left communist radical. The electorate fell for a false populist and
and millions of GOP voters sat out the election.

By the time GW Bush left office, the phenomenon of Bush Derangement
Syndrome had grown into a full fledged psychosis. When people
are driven by emotion rather than logic, they refuse to see the
obvious reality that Bush 1, Dole, McCain and Romney are all
demonstrably better than a draft dodging communist of a Halfrican

    I can see why the electorate is pissed off. There are two issues here;
One is that the 60 vote rule in the Senate is an impediment to the
GOP majority that wants to repeal Obonzo’s diktats, and the other
is that a small minority of Senate leadership (The establishment
RINO’s) are setting the agenda for the party.

I admit the electorate is grasping at straws, and that they are angry.
But to sit out the election because John McCain is no different than
Barack Obiteme, is not only false it is STUPID! It plays into the
hands of the Democrats like Blow-Job Billy and Obongo.

You want to solve the problem? Vote every last RINO, and every
last asshole in the GOP with 20 years seniority out in the primaries!
You need to replace them genuine limited government conservatives.
This is the fifth presidential race in which I have plead with my friends
and family to vote for Mickey Freaking Mouse if you have to! There is
no ideal candidate (Not even Ronald Reagan.) Making the perfect
the enemy of the good only results in the election of Marxist assholes!

To put it another way, vote for the most conservative candidate in the
field or you will see the fugly lesbian in the Mao Jacket in the White
House. For me, that would be Cruz, but if Trump wins the nomination,
wild horses could not keep me from the polls to vote for him. Just
look at the damage 2 of these assholes have done to America
    since 1992!

  • FrozenPatriot

You’re right; Trump would never have stood a chance without the last 30 years’ of decay in morals, cultural, and principles. It’s said that a country gets the ruler it deserves, and looking at the choice between Trump and Hitlery, I couldn’t agree more. Either way, the next four years will be viewed by history as a dark time in America.

  • FrozenPatriot

If Trump gets the nod, he loses according to every poll everywhere, and Hitlery is president.

If it’s taken from him by convention shinanigans, he surely runs independent, and Hitlery is president.

What difference, at this point, does it make?

It’s all over except the fat lady singing, and she’s warming up…

“If the appalling Trump phenomenon can’t be stopped before he secures the nomination …”

Well that’s as rabidly leftist a statement as any I have heard.

Does Trump force people to vote for him and support him? It takes two to tango, so the people who vote for him and support him do so because they want to. Which can only mean that you despise these millions of Americans who choose him.

Hey, here’s an idea – why not round up all these destructive vermin and lock them away on some reservation, you know, to save the country from them.

Rubio’s Exit Leaves Trump With an Open Path to 1,237 Delegates

You do have a choice. Trump or another eight (8) years of wandering in the wilderness. you can learn to do what the Progs do; when they cannot stand the person the party nominates, they hold their nose and vote for them. Better to win.

But the Conservatives have “Principles” dontcha know; those start with it’s better to lose than vote for someone we don’t like.

  • JeffersonSpinningInGrave

The GOP has been doing more to stifle the conservative movement than the Dems in many ways. Maybe this needs to happen. About the label “conservative,” just take a page from the communists playbook. When “progressive” became a dirty word after FDR, they just called themselves “liberals” until people forgot. Let’s just call ourselves “Americans.” Unlike totalitarians who call themselves liberals, for those who wish to uphold the principles on which this country was founded (i.e., true liberals), “American” is a perfectly accurate label.
