Trump Floats Notion of Declaring War on China

Sure she pounds on him in head-to-head matchups, but given Shrillary’s deepening legal troubles, Donald Trump could conceivably become president. If this doesn’t scare you, it should:

Trump said on Saturday that his foreign policy would be “unpredictable” in order to maintain leverage over other countries.

In an interview with The New York Times, Trump even suggested that he would not rule out going to war with China in order to show the country that he’s serious about trade negotiations.

“I would use trade to negotiate. Would I go to war? Look, let me just tell you. There’s a question I wouldn’t want to answer. Because I don’t want to say I won’t or I will or – do you understand that, David?” he said, addressing Times reporter David Sanger.

Not only competitors but also allies will be left guessing as to just what Trump will pull on them:

Trump also brought up the importance of unpredictability when asked about spying on U.S. allies like Germany.

According to Trump, predictability is a problem, and a symptom of transparency:

The former reality television star suggested that democracy was hurting the U.S. when it came to foreign policy because it required leaders to be too transparent.

There will be no transparency with President Trump, who doesn’t want people “to know what my real thinking is.” He has made it clear that he intends to rule by whim, and that his whims will not be easy to predict. One thing we do know is that he is open to using nuclear weapons.

Getting into a possibly nuclear war with our #2 trading partner after Canada would not have a beneficial effect on the economy. But the nihilistic mob that is committing an act of political vandalism by supporting Trump couldn’t care less. All that matters to Trumpsters is that the world stand in awe of how angry they are.

This won’t end well.

Like a homicide bomber, but this one plans to take out an entire country of White devils as payback for colonialism & slavery. Wonder if he will stick around for the fireworks or flee to his awaiting palace in Saudi Arabia.

“That’s the problem with our country. A politician would say, ‘Oh I
would never go to war,’ or they’d say, ‘Oh I would go to war.’ I don’t
want to say what I’d do because, again, we need unpredictability,” he
    added.

Trump’s smart. He knows there’s no benefit for him to lay all his cards out on the table during his campaign, since voters generally respond to rhetoric more favorably than dialectic (a concept Trump clearly grasps). His rhetoric may scare countries like China into making some concessions, even though there’s almost zero chance in reality of Trump waging actual (physical) war against China.

We’re taking polls 8 months out seriously?

Man, the Cruzzers are in panic mode.

Don’t worry, mr. Trump will flip by lunchtime, and flop by dinner.

I’m more scared of Hillary and Bernie than I am of Trump or Cruz. It’s doubtful Trump or Cruz will get the nomination, the PTB already have it locked up. I’m not voting if that happens.

I thought we were supposed to have a president that other countries were afraid to cross. Isn’t that what Reagan was? Full disclosure, I’m a Cruz supporter.

Mr Trump, unlike you david, possesses a somewhat unorthodox but very successful negotiating style, while you are turning into a predictable shill for the elite that have been destroying the North American continent for half a century

Time For Republicans To Unite Behind Cruz (Guest Post) http://www.floppingaces.net/2016/03/27/time-for-republicans-to-unite-behind-cruz-guest-post/ via @floppingaces

Time For Republicans To Unite Behind Cruz (Guest Post)
A Trump nomination will be disastrous for the Republican Party. That’s because he won’t win against Hillary Clinton, despite her email and Benghazi scandals.

The only way to stop Donald Trump is for the Republicans to unite behind Ted Cruz. John Kasich has no chance winning the nomination. A vote for him is effectively a vote for Trump. Even if the convention is deadlocked with nobody getting 1,237 delegates, it is ridiculous for Kasich to win the nomination.

So why is Kasich staying on when he is trailing the delegate count behind Marco Rubio who has dropped out? One possibility is that he is delusional. Or perhaps, he is hoping either Trump or Cruz will offer him the Vice President slot. Kasich splits the anti-Trump votes. So a vote for Kasich is effectively a vote for Trump. A vote for Trump is effectively a vote for Clinton.

In the latest polls, Clinton beats Trump by 11%. But she beats Cruz by only 2%. 2% is within the margin of error.

There is more at stake than just the Presidency. Trump’s brand is toxic. He will poison the Republican brand. With him as the Republican Presidential nominee, the Senate could flip to the Democrats. At stake is also control of the Supreme Court for the next President could be appointing the next three Supreme Court judges.

The world is aflame with ISIS attacking US allies and the US. The US is in debt to the tune of $19 trillion. A Clinton Presidency will only continue the pain of the last seven years. There is substantially no difference between her policies and that of President Barack Obama’s.

At this stage, only a Cruz nomination can have a realistic hope of stopping Clinton. Trump has benefitted from a friendly news media that gave him constant coverage. The left wing news media has not reported much of Trump’s negatives. My suspicion is that they are deliberately holding their fire to help Trump win the Nomination, so that Clinton will have an easy target in the General Election. If Trump gets nominated for President, you can expect non stop coverage on his unhappy students from Trump University, his businesses that went bankrupt and his philandering ways.

What about the polls that Donald J. cites that supposedly show him beating Comrade Clinton?

And what is is about Trump supporters and their incessant need to spew false narratives?

  • jayeS

Never ever will I vote for Ted Cruz. I’ll stay home, I refuse to hold my nose again and vote.

  • Gene

Really? Please provide an example and explain why Trump’s negotiation method was better.

  • Torcer

I frankly doubt you were ever going to vote Conservative in the general election in the first place.

Do you care that Donald J. isn’t a Conservative? Yes or No?

Do you care that Donald J. loves to use double standards? Yes or No?

Do you care about all of Donald J.’s Lies, scandals, frauds? Yes or No?

Do you care about all of Donald J.’s gaffes? Yes or No?

Do you care about the polling that shows Donald J. losing to Comrade Clinton. Yes or No?

Woodrow Wilson ran on the same promise in 1916.

  • jayeS

I’ll never vote for a Democrat or a liberal. I’m not a Republican, I am registered as an Independent. I left the Republican party after McCain failed and Romney as well. I voted for them – I held my nose. Trump says he’s a conservative but not in the way we think a conservative should be. I like the fact that he wants a wall built, he wants illegals deported, he wants to bring jobs back to America. Who else is talking like that – not Cruz or Kasich or any of the ones who dropped out.

Do you care that Donald J. isn’t a Conservative? Yes or No?

I think he is somewhat of a conservative.

Do you care that Donald J. loves to use double standards? Yes or No?

    They all use it.

Do you care about all of Donald J.’s Lies, scandals, frauds? Yes or No?

They all lie including Ted Swaggert Cruz.

Do you care about all of Donald J.’s gaffes? Yes or No?

Plenty off gaffes to go around. Doesn’t bother me.

Do you care about the polling that shows Donald J. losing to Comrade Clinton.

I don’t believe in polls, they are mostly wrong. Clinton isn’t going to be running, we’ll be seeing her in an orange jump suit soon. I see Biden coming out of the wood work though to run along with Elizabeth Warren as his running mate.

    So, there you have it.

Do you understand that those are YES or NO questions?
    Please answer them accordingly.

I don’t have to answer Jack Shit. I answered the way I want to. Take it or leave it.

  • Torcer

Thank you for proving my point.

Yes/No question are a great way for cutting through the Trump and getting to the heart of the matter.

Most Conservatives should have no problem answering those questions truthfully.

And most true supporters of a candidate would have problem with all the shenanigans from Don J. and the polling showing Trump LOSING.
