With cultural Marxist social engineers making such a big push to help male perverts invade ladies’ rooms, you had to know it wouldn’t be long before a social justice warrior was caught employing one of progressives’ favorite tactics, the hate hoax. From North Carolina:
There’s a movement on social media where transgender people go into bathrooms and snap selfies in the mirror. They’re doing so in defiance of House Bill 2.
One transgender Durham woman said [he] wanted to make a statement when [he] went into a women’s restroom, but says [he] learned what’ll happen if you’re caught.
Alexis Adams is a transgender woman and says [he] used the women’s restroom inside the Durham Transit Center.
[He] says [he] was humiliated beyond belief and bystanders were stunned as security escorted [him] out of the Transit Center Thursday.
“I couldn’t think. I couldn’t speak. I was speechless,” Alexis Adams said.
Adams says a custodian confronted [him] as soon as [he] came out of the stall.
“It was embarrassing. I was outed in front of everybody,” Adams said. …
The Transit Center is owned by the City of Durham, and HB2 bans local governments, as well as state agencies, from establishing anti-discrimination rules, and requires people to use the bathroom that corresponds with the gender on their birth certificates.
This has been noisily denounced as intolerable by militant moonbats like Bruce Springsteen and Michael Moore.
“I couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t fight it. I couldn’t tell them you’re wrong because it is the law,” Adams [whimpered theatrically].
The heart bleeds.
Durham officials said they have not been able to substantiate Adams’ claim that an incident occurred.
“We talked to staff and police officers, we can’t find any evidence she was escorted out,” said Durham Public Affairs Director Beverly Thompson.
That’s because the incident as described evidently never happened:
The city of Durham owns the Transit Center and recently released surveillance footage of the alleged incident after the original story was aired.
Adams can be seen in the video entering the public bathroom alone. About four minutes later, a custodian enters. Shortly later, Adams can be seen leaving the restroom by [himself].
That is, the entire episode was at the very least wildly exaggerated, and was most likely a completely fabricated hoax. When called on it, Adams panicked for a moment and then croaked unconvincingly that “you had to be there.”
When they have to manufacture episodes of being asked to leave the ladies’ room in North Carolina, you can be sure that cross-dressing weirdos are anything but oppressed.
Even if Adams had been escorted out of the bathroom, there need not have been any hate involved, but only a desire to protect the safety and privacy of women and children from pushy perverts. But as usual the tactic involves privileged groups beloved by liberals making themselves as hateful as possible, then demanding that they be catered to on the grounds that people hate them, even though the specific haters have to be fabricated. So please welcome Mr. Adams to the Hate Hoax List.
