Hate Hoax: Muslim Shopper Assaulted in London, Ontario

A Muslim woman in a hijab, accompanied by her son, was hit and spat on by an apparent maniac wearing a Canada t-shirt at a supermarket in London, Ontario. Politicians and journalists eagerly hyped the alleged hate crime. But they didn’t tell the whole story:

When police in London identified and charged the suspect, they only charged her with common assault—not anything “hate” motivated.

More curiously, they refused to name her, which is a stark departure from their usual practices, through which the names of anyone charged are released to the media. Even when asked by media outlets, police were tight-lipped.

Not one news article appeared mentioning the name of the accused, nor did anyone cover the details of her first appearance in court. One detail in particular.

The accused assailant’s name is Sheila Shaidae. Here is the curiously omitted detail:

When she appeared in court, she had a Farsi interpreter.

That means Shaidae is almost certainly from Iran, the population of which is nearly 100% Muslim.

That’s a horse of a different color, even if Shaidae is one of the extremely rare Iranians who isn’t Muslim herself. So after screeching about hate crimes and put-upon Muslims, the “mainstream” media appears to have lost interest in the case, leaving Rebel Media’s Andrew Lawton to expend the shoe leather on follow-up:

As the video shows, her name is spelled alternately as Shaidae and Shaidaie on official documents.

However Sheila spells her name, she’s not the hoaxer; the Islamophilic agenda-driven Canadian governmedia is, for encouraging false assumptions and not making any discernible effort to present the public with the truth. Let’s list this case on the Hate Hoax List as the London, Ontario Islamic Shopper.

Ya’ know, I’ve been wondering for a while about when the Muslims were going to start routinely employing the scam of fake hate crimes, especially since they have such a sympathetic supporter in the White House– figuring, what the hell, other groups have been doing it, and getting away with it. Frankly, I’m a little surprised it has not become a weekly news item.

Regardless of how commonplace it becomes, in the minds of lefty moonbats there will be no reconsideration of the mess they’ve created by first burdening us with the ridiculous concepts of “hate speech” or “hate crimes” (which apparently serve, for example, to differentiate the subtle difference of assaults or murders done with a sense of hate on the part of the perpetrator vs. those assaults or murders carried out with love in their hearts).

This, and the latent racist tendencies on the part of the left, to not view everyone as equal, but rather to pigeonhole everyone into a particular group — with some groups joining the ever growing list of “protected classes”. This concept of protected classes inevitably leads to this type of abuse via false discrimination claims, as anyone with an ounce of common sense could have predicted.

Then again, we’re talking about social engineering, do-gooder, sloganeering, liberals, amongst which, common sense should be viewed as an anomaly.
