Trump Won’t Scrap Obama’s Nuke Deal With Iran

When Republicans (and Democrat crossover voters) chose a progressive in the primaries, they unwittingly chose to preserve Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran:

A top foreign policy adviser to Donald Trump says in a new interview that the billionaire would not scrap the Iran nuclear dear if his presidential bid is successful.

“No, he’s not going to get rid of an agreement that has the institutional signature of the United States,” Walid Phares told The Daily Caller.

Instead of finding the quickest means of throwing the insane deal with terrorists who want to kill us into the garbage, Trump will renegotiate it, because he is all about making deals.

At this point, Obama’s legacy is secure whoever wins.

On a tip from Torcer.

“Thanks for continuing to work so hard at my election. Remember, stay at home on election day, losers!”

  • Chronos Z. Wonderpig

you know, that sounds like the right thing to do. you can’t just arbitrarily cancel a signed agreement with a foreign county, you have to re-negotiate. Trump will get it right. Hillary will give a way more. Yea, so lets not vote for Trump to help Hillary be elected. yea, that will work……..

No surprise. He cannot even say that he’d fire Lynch and Commie. It’s “inappropriate”…

  • ComradeJ

signed by Nobama? That’s pretty hardcore defense of the loonatic’s legacy.

  • Stosh

It was never a Senate ratified treaty…simply a handshake deal with no legal binding.

  • Stosh

Chump’s deal will include a monopoly contract to provide Chump brand bacon and vodka to Iran….

  • Johnny Monday

That, of course, is aimed appropriately at the Drumpf cult who have put us in this horrible place.

“Institutional signature.” That guy is talking gobbly goop.

How about trade agreements that are actual law of the United States? I guess there’s no goobly goop signature on those.

If Trump is going to actually govern by, for example, accepting the agreement with the Iranians, “What Difference Does It Make?”

  • Mr. Freemarket

And yet…Iran still gets their $150 billion.

Just think what might happen were it a binding agreement?

So let’s recap the tRump campaign thus far.

tRump was lying about and has reversed his position on:

    on $15/hr minimum wage
    Self funding his campaign, NOT!
His distrust of banking institutions, specifically Goldman Sachs
His position on attacking the wives of candidates.
Hired former Soros Fund Management employee Steven Mnuchin as Campaign Finance Chairman.
Flipped on raising taxes, now favors raising them across all income levels.
Backed off his “ban all Muslim immigration” position.

Now, we add the Iran nuclear Arms Deal reversal to the pot.

Someone list the differences between the tRump platform and the Hillary platform. Shouldn’t take more than a couple of sentences.

    Nice job, Trumpanzees.

Perhaps he meant that anyone who would sign on to that deal should be in an institution. That would at least make sense.

How is a non-vote, which neither adds nor subtracts to the aggregate, a de facto vote for Clinton?

  • Artfuldgr

In other words… trump wants to follow the legal process that the people on the right didnt want the left to break in the first place… it makes them seem like people who dont really care for the rules, but just people who want the rule breaker to be on their side, not their opposition
