Trump Death Knell

Unlike the apathetic Trump, Shrillary has been spending money on the television advertising that is crucial for defining and thereby defeating political opponents. But she will be cutting back in three key swing states:

If The Donald loses all three of these states, he is burnt toast. The pros Shrillary hires rather than sycophants like Stephen Bannon have concluded that Trump is no longer competitive in them, so they are reallocating resources, probably to recently safe Republican states like Arizona and Georgia, which Trump has rendered safe no longer.

Stick a fork in this appalling farce.

On tips from Torcer and Varla.

  • Those who refuses to believe these polls are bogus are, at best, extremely naive. What better way to negatively influence voter turnout than to constantly harp on the lie that “don’t bother voting, this election is already over.”

The Statue of Liberty is kaput…

Donald and Hillary Go Into A Bakery on the Campaign Trail
As soon as they enter the bakery, Hillary steals three pastries and puts them in her pocket.
She says to Donald, “See how clever I am?
The owner didn’t see anything and I don’t even need to lie.”
I will definitely win the election.
The Donald says to Hillary, “That’s the typical dishonesty you have displayed throughout your entire life, trickery and deceit.
I am going to show you an honest way to get the same result.”
Donald goes to the owner of the bakery and says, “Give me a pastry and I will show you a magic trick.”
Intrigued, the owner accepts and gives him a pastry.
Trump swallows it and asks for another one.
The owner gives him another one.
Then Donald asks for a third pastry and eats that, too.
The owner is starting to wonder where the magic trick is and asks, “What did you do with the pastries?”
Trump replies, “Look in Hillary’s pocket”…

  • ComradeJ

The Manchurian Candidate Trump has served his purpose. Hillary will start retiring his campaign soon.

  • ComradeJ

Oh hi our twice self admitted liar. You are still trolling here? LOL

  • Grumpy Cat

    Heard THAT before.

  • TED
  • ComradeJ

Obviously the sound didn’t get transferred to the brain… 😉

  • Grumpy Cat

Better head back to your hate Trump circle jerk. They might run out of tissue before you get there.

  • KirklesWorth

Oh, the disingenuous – I don’t know sarcasm when I see it – who comes in with insults, adds nothing, and has been gone for days. Why are you still ____ here?

  • ComradeJ

Circle jerk? You mean Trumpbartistan led by Stephen the exGS banker who’s now a manager on Trump’s campaign joined with sexual predator Ailes? 😉

  • Grumpy Cat

Thanks for explaining exactly why it doesn’t sink in with you.

  • TED

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://i.imgur.com/EYwm8Ad.jpg

  • ComradeJ

LOL, still stuck on your sarcasm excuse. Sorry it didn’t work then doesn’t work now. Could have something to do with you admitting lying twice and then saying you were lying about lying lol.

  • TED
  • KirklesWorth

Oh yes, calling you “master” was also sincere. Get over yourself.

  • ComradeJ

What part? Trump’s support of Universal Healtcare and his like of ObamaDeathCare manddate?

No, I got that he’s flaming libtard. Thanks for asking though.

  • Grumpy Cat

    “Matser” bator.

  • KirklesWorth

So Hillary expanding Obamacare is the obvious solution?

  • ComradeJ

    LOL,

Internet is forever our dear Liar.

  • ComradeJ

Are you attempting to contrast her with her ideological brother Trump? lol

You are doing it wrong. 😉

  • Grumpy Cat

Reeeeeal logical. Trump’s a “liberal” so lets help elect the communist dictator Hillary to office.

  • ComradeJ

And trumpinks start swinging their ad hominous feces right on schedule… lol

  • KirklesWorth

You are so right master! Please forgive me! I retract my lies! I denounce my “libtard” ways!

Did I need a SARCASM sign for that one?

  • ComradeJ

    ROTFL,

Not as logical as your Trump is just like Hillary in his libtarded policies, but because he’s got (R) behind his name, you must vote for him, lol.

  • KirklesWorth

So, “yes” is your answer that you avoided saying?

  • ComradeJ

LOL, too late bud.. you branded Liar on your forehead… all by yourself. 😉

  • ComradeJ

Only in brains of twice self-admitted liars like you. 😉

  • KirklesWorth

Right…because you are so “believable”. Are you going to add anything to the debate or are you just here to spout insults?

  • TED
  • ComradeJ

I don’t have to be believable, ROTFL. It’s your words our dear twice self-admitted liar.

  • KirklesWorth

So that’s your one-trick eh? You won’t answer “So Hillary expanding Obamacare is the obvious solution?”

  • Grumpy Cat

The American people have a choice the November: Hillary or Donald.

If you really don’t like having to face that choice like an adult, then go pick up your marbles like a widdle baby and move to another country. Just don’t ruin ours by helping elect Hillary.

  • ComradeJ

To twice self admitted liars, who keep repeating the same idiocy? Sure… whatever floats your boat our pathological liar.

  • TED
  • ComradeJ

Hillary with (R) or Hillary with (D)… that’s quite a choice. LOL

  • KirklesWorth

Right. I’m “lying” when I ask “So Hillary expanding Obamacare is the obvious solution?” It is a tough question.

  • Grumpy Cat

    Then by all means…move.

  • ComradeJ

You are lying by presenting false dichotomy, where rejecting Trump with his Universal Healthcare must mean support of Hillary’s expansion of ObamaDeathCare (mandate of which Trump so likes)

So yes our dear twice self admitted liar, you lie 😉

  • TED

http://i.imgur.com/VxVr0no.jpg Ya KNOW how the LEFT just CAN’T get enough of that STUFF!!!

  • KirklesWorth

So your answer to “So Hillary expanding Obamacare is the obvious solution?” is “no”?

  • TED
  • Grumpy Cat

Same applies to the #Never Trumpers

  • ComradeJ

    LOL,

Why so that Socialist Hitlary or Socialist Trump can further the ruin Socialist Hussein started.

No thanks, but thanks for showing that you are a gullible sheep, who admits he loves Hillary with (R).

  • TED
  • ComradeJ

LOL, so you do not comprehend English like Trump’s polish Illegal workers he hired to build Trump Tower. 😉

That’s lame for a twice self-admitted liar like you.

  • KirklesWorth

So you won’t answer “So Hillary expanding Obamacare is the obvious solution?” because it is a “false dichotomy”. What would another alternative be then?

  • ComradeJ

    LOL

What would another alternative be then?

Since you are so blind… let’ cut and paste from above.

rejecting Trump with his Universal Healthcare must mean support of Hillary’s expansion of ObamaDeathCare

Thanks for confirming you don’t understand English. Shall I use google translate to translate it for you in Polish our dear twice self admitted lying liar? ROTFL

  • KirklesWorth

Yes, you already stated that. What is another alternative that would change it from being a di·chot·o·my
dīˈkädəmē/ noun: a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different?

  • NotKennedy

When your premier recommendation for office is your opponent, you gotta wonder, how much would it cost to convince anyone that Hillary is other than what she is?

If Hillary had even one redeeming quality, it would be her recommendation of Trump over herself.

If I was Trump, I wouldn’t spend a dime on campaigning against Hillary. If Trump wants to score some heavy opposition work, go after the Clinton Foundation and take that place apart like it was healthy fetus in a Planned Parenthood “clinic” with a waiting list for body parts.

  • ComradeJ

LOL, nice attempt to transition your false dichotomy set up into an actual question, but very obvious.

But why would a Hillary with (R) supporter like you care? 😉

  • KirklesWorth

Okay, let me make this simple for you. All you have to do is fill in the blank:

    1. Hillary and expanding Obamacare
    2. Trump and his version of universal healthcare
    3. _______________________________?

  • ComradeJ

    I have to? ROTFL

Our dear twice-self admitted lying liar, I already answered you in the past, I don’t answer such questions from Hitlary’s supporters (even Hitlary’s with (R) like you) .

  • KirklesWorth

No, you don’t have to do anything. You can say it’s a “false dichotomy” without proving it – I won’t call you a liar for it. Just because you can’t back up your assertions with any proof doesn’t take anything away from your integrity. SARCASM

  • ComradeJ

    LOL,

And now you are back to projections. But you have confirmed that you set up a false dichotomy placing a comment, where you admitted there were other choices

    1. Hillary and expanding Obamacare
    2. Trump and his version of universal healthcare
    3. _______________________________?

I know you don’t seem to have a good grasp on short term memory of yours, but I told you the other day, you should really stop letting your own words punch you in your twice self-admitted lying face 😉

  • KirklesWorth

Please cite where I “admitted” anything.

If you “answered me in the past”, then it would be a lot easier to re-type your answer instead of these long-winded character attacks, right?

So, you say it’s a “false dichotomy”, but it is a true dichotomy since you can’t prove otherwise. Fine, let’s move on. Do you have anything of substance to say, or is it going to be more “liar” lies and insults?

  • man_wolf

Well, when Trump has a senior advisor saying Hillary should be shot, when Trumpbart’s is stepping in to help run Trump’s campaign (Andrew must be close to hitting mach speed spinning in his grave about now) & Trump’s daughter is off vacationing with Vlad’ Putin’s girlfriend, someone tell me again that Trump’s not throwing the election to Hillary.

  • man_wolf

  • KirklesWorth

So, if Hillary is the “inevitable outcome”, why worry?

  • ComradeJ

    LOL,

And you back to the beginning of the loop. We already covered that our dear twice self-admitted liar.

  • ComradeJ

You certainly are happy considering that you support Hitlary with (R) who wants Universal Healtcare. LOL

Or will you lie to us that you are not happy about it, our dear twice self admitted liar.

  • KirklesWorth

You’ve got nothing – except for lies, insults, condescension and innuendo. You can’t even defend your “false dichotomy” statement. Feel free to continue in this vein as I wouldn’t want your “pearls of wisdom” to be missed by anybody.

  • KirklesWorth

Assuming facts not in evidence (lie).

  • ComradeJ

    LOL,

Are you projecting again, our dear self-admitted liar?

  • ComradeJ

I’ve got nothing, except for lies…?

That is a very ironic coming from a self-admitted liar like you.

    ROTFL

  • KirklesWorth

Please prove your accusation “you support Hitlary”, “are happy considering that you support Hitlary”, and I am a “twice self admitted liar”.

  • man_wolf

    No worries.
Just kind of nauseated that after 8 disastrous years of Obama, this crap is the best our country could come up with for candidates.
I always thought the Right side of the political spectrum possessed vastly more intelligent, rational & common sense based people.
What a rude awakening this election season has been to that illusion.

    https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/3fa6e0df72cdf46b6b0f7f0410ebe7d903a7b09bf536e2cadeb429e1ee7ab061.jpg

  • KirklesWorth

    Please cite those “self-admitted lies”.

  • ComradeJ

You didn’t see a link where you are admitted you are a liar, that I linked right above?

Here you go our dear liar, you admit you are a
    liar

  • KirklesWorth

So you have contempt for the democratic process as well as the people who participated? That’s sad.

  • ComradeJ
  • KirklesWorth

ComradeJ: The obvious is that you got caught with a lie again our dear Trumpkin. 😉
KirklesWorth: You’re right. What’s the plan to defeat Hillary?
ComradeJ: I am glad you admitted you are a liar. 😉

That’s one attempt to claim I was a “liar” – where’s the other?Yep, I just gave up like that for no reason – not even sarcasm. (SARCASM). In an attempt to get you to reveal your non-existent plan to defeat Hillary, I neglected to point out to those who are sarcasm-impaired that it was sarcasm. I regret my error, and I hope that clears up any misunderstanding that I was in fact being sarcastic. Although in my own defense, the fact that I said “You’re right.” should have been a dead giveaway.

  • ComradeJ

Sarcasm? No you called it something else your further comment

No, I lied about being a liar.

Which if true, still makes you a lying liar… ROTFL

  • KirklesWorth

As I stated above, that was only one attempt to prove me a “liar”, which I posted:

ComradeJ: The obvious is that you got caught with a lie again our dear Trumpkin. 😉
KirklesWorth: You’re right. What’s the plan to defeat Hillary?
ComradeJ: I am glad you admitted you are a liar. 😉

Yep, I just gave up like that for no reason – not even sarcasm.

  • KirklesWorth

You are either dense or disingenuous…perhaps both.

  • ComradeJ

Sarcasm? No, you called it something else your further comment

No, I lied about being a liar.

Which if true, still makes you a lying liar… ROTFL

  • KirklesWorth

I’m not continuing this on two fronts. If you can’t understand sarcasm and/or irony, then it’s my turn to start the liar accusations.

  • ComradeJ

Presenting you with evidence of your admition of your lies is being dense or disingenuous? LOL

    More projections? 😉

  • ComradeJ

    LOL,

You admitted this was not sarcasm, but lies, and now you are admitting that you will just be lying.

How fitting for a lying liar like you. ROTFL

  • WMD

    Why are you here?

  • KirklesWorth

If you can’t understand sarcasm and/or irony, then it’s my turn to start the liar accusations.

This is a two-part lie: “You certainly are happy considering that you support Hitlary with (R) who wants Universal Healtcare.” You lied about me supporting Hillary. You lied about being “happy” considering I “support Hillary”.

  • KirklesWorth

Why, shouldn’t I be? Is this an exclusive club?

  • KirklesWorth

    Response above.

  • WMD

Did I say you shouldn’t be?
    Why are you here?

  • KirklesWorth

Um…because I want to be. You?

  • WMD

    Clearly, but why?

  • ComradeJ

    So far. You
    -admitted that you lied.
-said that you lied about lying
    – you will start more lies.

That’s a very serious case of lying you got there. Would you like to call the Help line the White Supremacists set up for Trump supporters?

    ROTFL

  • KirklesWorth

Hey now, it’s not your turn. I asked your question back to you first.

  • ComradeJ

Yes I saw that, you said you will continue lying.

Not surprising coming from a twice self-admitted liar like you.

  • WMD

You still haven’t told me why.

  • KirklesWorth

You are also lying when you said “You are lying by presenting false dichotomy”, as you offered no proof there is a third option:

    1. Hillary and expanding Obamacare
    2. Trump and his version of universal healthcare
    3. _______________________________?

  • ComradeJ

We already covered that our dear twice self admitted liar who just said he would be lying more.

  • KirklesWorth

Sure I did: “Um…because I want to be. You?”. You haven’t answered my return question.

  • KirklesWorth

Yeah, we covered it…you didn’t have a third option.

  • WMD

May I share with the you the reason I wonder?

  • KirklesWorth

    Absolutely.

  • ComradeJ

LOL, actual I told you I wasn’t going to share it with a libtard like you who supports Hitlary with (R).

Lying again our dear twice self-admitted liar who said he would be lying going forward? 😉 That’s rather predictable

  • KirklesWorth

Using sarcasm and irony is not lying.

  • Bob Elfers

I would not recommend putting much faith in the hat tips. I think Dave mixes it up for this very reason.

  • ComradeJ

    LOL,

Lying the same sarcasm lie again?

No, I lied about being a liar.

  • KirklesWorth

Thanks for proving my point. See the irony? It’s so blatantly obvious…

  • TrojanMan

“So you have contempt for the democratic process” I failed to find those words or inferred that from his post. You really think good honest people have a shot at being president?

  • TrojanMan

“Just don’t ruin ours” You think this country was not already ruined before this disastrous election?

  • KirklesWorth

You mean “I always thought the Right side of the political spectrum possessed vastly more intelligent, rational & common sense based people.” isn’t contemptuous? Too harsh? Perhaps “disdain” or “distaste”?

  • TrojanMan

Hillary’s crimes are well documented. She has been keeping her mouth shut like the donald should be doing which is why there is less. It would be foolish not to expose Hiterys donors of which Trump is a member.

  • KirklesWorth

Using sarcasm and irony is not lying. Example: “No, I lied about being a liar.” “You are my ‘master’!”, “You’re right.” – all examples of sarcasm and irony. Next time, I will hold up the SARCASM sign for you.

  • KirklesWorth

Again, why do you care about Trump? You’ve already embraced the inevitability:

TrojanMan -> KirklesWorth: That’s too late. She was elected the moment Trump won the nomination which is why I have always told you that it does not matter who you vote for. http://moonbattery.com/?p=75157#comment-2835984174

  • WMD

I don’t comment here very often but I read Moonbattery every day. ( And many others as well.) I have watched you go back and forth with a few other regulars here. You were not one of the regulars.

I decided to take a look at your history because you seem to be fixated on this site and some of the commenters. Up until somewhere between one and two months ago there was nothing remarkable about your history, and you commented on a variety of sites.

    Then you discovered Moonbattery.

It’s difficult to come up with exact counts with only a cursory examination but I would estimate that of your roughly 1700 comments so far, over a thousand are here and have happened in less than two months. That’s with a profile that goes back over two years. (That’s as far as I went).

It would be difficult to predict with any certainty why this pattern exists. One can only speculate. So my curiosity got the better of me and I’m asking why are you here?

Are you employed by somebody, are you being paid?

Are you just some kind of nut-job? (No offense intended)

Or do you just enjoy being an irritant?

Do you just insist on having the last word?

.Are you a true believer in Trump and completely sold on and devoted to his candidacy?

All this because I wonder about your tactics

And I ask about the tactics because if I were trying to convince someone that my position was correct and theirs was wrong, I wouldn’t do it the way you are doing it.
So, I have to ask again, why are you here?

  • TrojanMan

What does this have to do with what you or I posted? You listed the posts made on this site. Claiming they are skewed against Trump vs Clinton. I provided a rebuttal saying that Hillarys crimes have been documented and it is necessary to expose her donors of which Trump is a member. Which is why there have been more Trump posts and he keeps providing stories by opening his mouth.

I fail to see a correlation between the two.

  • TrojanMan

Are you employed by somebody, are you being paid? Most likely

Are you just some kind of nut-job? (No offense intended) Most likely

Or do you just enjoy being an irritant? Most certainly

Do you just insist on having the last word? Absolutely

.Are you a true believer in Trump and completely sold on and devoted to his candidacy? I questioned him on this as well. IMO he is not.

  • TrojanMan

Also, are you keeping a document on who is posting what? You dug that up awfully fast out of the hundreds of comments we have exchanged. That’s is very creepy

  • WMD

Yeah, I don’t know for sure. But I really want to know.
Of course my speculations were not a closed set, his motivations could be many different things. But I do find his commenting history very odd.

  • TrojanMan

It would never admit to being a paid troll. It would make sense for it being a paid troll but if it is doing this for free then it is just crazy.

  • KirklesWorth

Don’t speak for me deceiver. And yes, I won’t let you have a demeaning last word if I can help it.

  • WMD

I kind of figured going in that I may not get an honest reply, or the truth. But my query is genuine and he hasn’t responded yet so we’ll see.

  • TrojanMan

See… even this post he will reply to

  • KirklesWorth

I wish I was paid for dealing with you fair-weather-republicans.

  • KirklesWorth

Yep. Feel free to go on infinitude (or at least until I leave for the day). Is having the last word some sort of character flaw?

  • WMD

    “deceiver” ???
    WOW, uh OK.

  • KirklesWorth

Apologies for being thorough – I didn’t want you to be misquoted.

  • TrojanMan

I told him if he REALLY wanted Trump to win he would sell everything he had, move to a vital swing state, and donate all his time and money to Trump. Anything less than his 100% is helping hillary.

  • TrojanMan

    Told you…. LOL

“s having the last word some sort of character flaw?” Yes it is… I will allow you to have the last word… 🙂

  • KirklesWorth

So it has nothing to do with anything, eh? You claim Hillary is inevitable, yet you are here attacking Trump and supporters to make sure it happens that way…interesting.

  • KirklesWorth

Yep. Shall I go back to the archives…?

  • KirklesWorth

A fair observation as well as some insightful questions.

I have frequented Moonbattery for years, never commented. I just reached a point where I was tired of all the anti-Trump Hillary-enabling that was going on with a supposedly “conservative” website.

You are the second person asking if I am a paid commenter (I wish), when it just so happens I can get some posts in between computer and management tasks. I consider it a compliment that you asked.

Being an “irritant” is subjective. I have taken on the tactics I have learned to keep from getting demeaned, sent on wild goose-chases, and off on tangents. To the contrary – I would consider Moonbattery an “irritant” to the republican party for the anti-Trump Hillary enabling rhetoric, wouldn’t you agree?

I am not “sold” on Trump per say, but I am “sold” on Hillary not being president. Therefore my goal is #1 defeat Hillary, and #2 deal with Trump. It’s not all that complicated really. Hillary will not be able to be controlled.

My goal is to try to come out of this election in the best possible way. Hillary is the worst, and I would have voted for McCain to keep her out. Republicans and conservatives watch their politicians more than liberals – and liberals want the country to go the way of Hillary, so they won’t stop her.

I won’t leave a conversation with anybody leaving disparaging comments (as much as possible). If the other people can leave the conversation in a neutral position, so can I.

  • WMD

Aww, you’re just pokin’ the bear with that.

  • TrojanMan

    Trolls deserve the poke

  • KirklesWorth

Hmm, and what is exactly you are doing for “your” candidate?

KirklesWorth: “You prefer a 100% liberal to a 50% liberal”

TrojanMan: I prefer no liberal which is why I am not voting for either one. http://moonbattery.com/?p=75157#comment-2836031995

  • WMD

Yeah, my bad on that I guess. The way it’s ordered I thought you were calling me a “deceiver”. I didn’t see you were really replying to TrojanMan.

  • KirklesWorth

Touché – on that we agree on.

TrojanMan -> KirklesWorth: You claim to want to debate but you are really just a condescending bunghole troll. Its my fault for feeding your trolling. I will refrain from doing so. http://moonbattery.com/?p=75114#comment-2833885056

A Black Conservative has a Very Important Question for Donald Trump
Early Tuesday morning, NBC News political editor, Mark Murray tweeted how much the campaigns of Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton, Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson, Green Party nominee Jill Stein, and Republican nominee Donald Trump have spent on advertising over the last two months.

For two-straight months, Hillary Clinton has owned the general-election ad airwaves https://t.co/zuJspH4a4L August 16, 2016

Yes, you read that correctly. In the last two months, Trump has spent ZERO dollars on advertising which is quite curious considering the huge pushes Trump has made for donations.

Sean Trende, senior elections analyst at Real Clear Politics, brought up that very topic of fundraising and it was retweeted by conservative talk radio host Steve Deace.

    Sean T at RCP@SeanTrende
But he raised $80M in July. So where’s the money going?

Trump is tanking in the polls after a series of self-inflicted wounds. Will he put his money, that he raised off the backs and wallets of supporters, where his mouth is and use that money to actually fight Hillary Clinton? If not, what is his plan for it?

  • TrojanMan

Sure go for if you are honest you will include all your demeaning insults. Remember you started it Troll.

    Good Day

  • TrojanMan

If you do not march lockstep with Trump you are a Hillary supporting traitor.

  • KirklesWorth

    Yeah…questioning Moonbattery is automatically “trolling”.

Even Trump’s Biggest Propagandists Cannot Rig a Poll to Show Him Winning
Remember, all the polling that has been done has been biased because the mainstream media has done the polling. So what the Branch Trumpidians really need to do is do their own polling, which is exactly what they’ve done at Breitbart. And guess what? Even their “unskewed” poll by a Trump propaganda outfit still has Hillary Clinton winning.

    But wait… it gets better.

According to the Breitbart poll that still has Hillary Clinton winning, Trump picks up ELEVEN PERCENT of the black vote. ELEVEN PERCENT AND HE IS STILL LOSING. As the Trump propaganda site helpfully points out, that is “almost doubling Romney’s 6 percent.” And Trump is still losing.

  • KirklesWorth

What is the default condition for not voting for Trump? What is the inevitability?

  • Torcer

Trump may cost the GOP a generation of voters
People always remember their first presidential vote — their first participation in the largest decision of American democracy.
    [..]
Now jump forward to a recent USA Today/Rock the Vote poll that shows Hillary Clinton beating Donald Trump by 56 percent to 20 percent among voters under 35. Let that sink in. Trump is supported by 1 in 5 younger voters — an astonishing and consequential collapse for the GOP. Though the young don’t turn out at election time with the same frequency as older voters, they always get (and deserve) particular attention from the parties. In the long run, younger voters are older voters.
    [..]
While Clinton has an ethics problem, Trump has a humanity problem. His combativeness and lack of political polish could be advantages among younger voters. But these are tied to a discrediting lack of empathy. It is one thing to go after “low-energy” Jeb Bush or “Lyin’ ” Ted Cruz; it is another to mock a disabled reporter, stereotype Mexicans as rapists, condemn a judge because of his ethnicity, attack the faith of a grieving Gold Star mother, or call for systematic discrimination against Muslims. These are not violations of political correctness. They are violations of human decency, revealing serious moral impairment.
    [..]
These are the first serious political impressions of my younger son, voting in his first presidential election this year. It is the way to lose a generation.
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/trump-may-cost-the-gop-a-generation-of-voters/2016/08/15/91d56582-6306-11e6-96c0-37533479f3f5_story.html?

  • TrojanMan

“Hmm, and what is exactly you are doing for “your” candidate?” Huh? Um i have no candidate so what exactly would i be doing for no one?

Creepy. Be careful WMD he is keeping score and a log book.

  • TrojanMan

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion,[3] often for their own amusement.

    That is you not me.

  • WMD

All right, fair enough. I appreciate the response.
I still disagree with your tactics but we’ll have to agree to disagree.
I’m out. I have work to do as well.

Well, I’m basically the only one left…I’ve seen people say “goodbye” because of the moonbattery on Moonbattery.

Sorry, I put in the last word again…bad habit.

New Trump campaign manager: We’ll never have the money that Hillary Clinton’s team has
Why not? The guy’s worth $10 billion, right? He could have liquidated 20 percent of his assets, blitzed Hillary with a national ad campaign and the best ground game anyone’s ever seen, and given his nationalist fan base a meaningful chance to capture the White House this fall. This is what’s so maddening about fanboys like Hannity sniffing around for #NeverTrumpers to blame. Between his (alleged) wealth and his media megaphone, Trump has some of the most formidable advantages a Republican presidential nominee has ever enjoyed. Having watched him squander those advantages so thoroughly as to leave him 10 points back in must-win Pennsylvania, his supporters should be angry enough to choke him. Is leaving an inheritance of $2 billion a piece for his kids so important to Trump that he’s prepared to crap away a chance at the White House over it? Can Ivanka and Don Jr not get by on $1.5 billion each instead? For fark’s sake.

Which reminds me, good news: Big spender’s finally ready, in mid-August, to start putting some ads up against Clinton.

  • KirklesWorth

Sorry you guys have such thin skin. Am I supposed to permit continuous attacks on the republican candidate? Wouldn’t my defense of Trump be considered party loyalty? Where is the plan to defeat Hillary? Where is another viable candidate? I should be encouraged for my patriotism – not questioned on it by anti-Trump Hillary-enablers.

  • TrojanMan

To whom it may concern: KrinklesWorth is keeping a log of who is saying what on this board. I assume for the express purpose of making a hit list after Trump is defeated.

The proof was how quickly he posted comments i made long ago. There is no way he could have remembered what i said when and come up with it that fast without keeping some sort of log.

I find this practice to be very disturbing and would ask the MB community to take careful steps not to divulge any personal information which could be used for him to locate patriots.

  • TrojanMan

    he is not a republican……

  • KirklesWorth

LOL! Classic! Ever heard of Torcer?

  • TrojanMan

    he does not deny it!!!

  • KirklesWorth

Deny what? It’s all out there – I don’t know what you are bellyaching about. Why are you concerned if I’m not quoting you out of context?

  • KirklesWorth

    State of denial.

  • TrojanMan

Why keep a list? For what purpose?

  • KirklesWorth

What “list”? Go back to the story and refresh the page! Sheesh! It’s not rocket science.

  • Torcer

Note that it refuses to answer the question.

  • KirklesWorth

Why don’t you explain it Torcer? You’re the one who showed the way.

  • TrojanMan

Still refuses to answer the question… deflection

  • Torcer

Please also note that KirklesWorth uses the classic SJW technique of deflecting a question with another off topic question.

  • KirklesWorth

LOL! Okay, you got me…I’ve got a couple of lists I keep handy like this one:

And by the way, have I mentioned your writing has a charming British flavour?

And very reminiscent of certain blokes.. http://moonbattery.com/?p=75109#comment-2833384339

Also note that it likes to use the techniques of projection – accusing others of what it does.

  • TrojanMan

    Verified LIAR!!!!

  • KirklesWorth

I have to admit, it’s got kahunas. Criticizing me for it’s own tactics is chutzpah.

  • Torcer

Here is a good recent example of that:

    KirklesWorth
    Hey, that’s my line!

    1. Hate Trump

    3. Attack Trump on MoonBattery (“conservative”)
    4. Don’t bother with attacking Hillary on liberal Disqus
    5. Go to step 1 until election

  • TheChaoticStorm

They both are awful candidates and both parties deserve them. The Dems have been a rat’s nest of conmen and deserve the criminal they have. The GOP has been backstabbing their constituents and deserve the shaking up Trump has given them, even if he is a belligerent buffoon.

Maybe some good will come of the Trump debacle and the two party system will die a painful, although needed death.

Considering that they are really mostly the same party anyway once they get elected, it’s about time IMO.

  • KirklesWorth

I didn’t deny anything. I asked you to prove it. I figured it was interesting how worked-up you get about freely-accessible information that I would give you a hard time. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

  • KirklesWorth

Ooooh! There’s one of those “dreaded lists”! Evil! Evil! Hahaha…and you still haven’t offered any viable alternatives, so get over yourself.

  • TrojanMan

    “I didn’t deny anything.” LIAR!!!!

“What “list”? Go back to the story and refresh the page! Sheesh! It’s not rocket science.” This is not DENYING you have a list?

    LIAR!!!!

  • TrojanMan

“you still haven’t offered any alternatives” Sure we have LIAR:
    Convention of States
    Secession
    Revolution

  • KirklesWorth

LOL! Right you are! I was not denying it! Give that person a cigar!

  • TrojanMan

From henceforth you shall be known to all as “LIAR”

  • KirklesWorth

Uh huh. Well, if any of those happen by November I will retract my statement and offer a full apology. And since I don’t believe in your sincerity of your “solutions”, I’m not lying about you not having any.

  • TrojanMan

“And since I don’t believe in your sincerity of your “solutions”” GFY… Good For You LIAR!

  • KirklesWorth

For asking “What ‘list'”? Ooh, please forgive me! Guess what? Disqus is a list. Oooh scarrry!

  • KirklesWorth

You know…the way you didn’t like my “answers” regarding my support for Trump? That kind of thing.

I’ve offered alternatives – and the fact is you were caught in a lie.

What if Ted Cruz was the Republican nominee for president?
Dreaming of a brilliant 2016 election victory that is not going to happen
The Huffington Post has yet another story about how Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is the one #Republican winner in the midst of the meltdown that is the Donald Trump for President Campaign. He, almost alone of major GOP movers and shakers, refused to bend the knee and board the Trump Train. If Trump loses the election to Hillary Clinton or even if he wins and has a chaotic presidency, Cruz is in position to say, “I told you so.”

Cruz has three qualities that Trump lacks in abundance, intellect, conservative principles, and sanity. The last quality would have put him ten or so points ahead of Clinton. The Democrats will have been having conniptions over the shellacking they would have been about to get instead of Republicans.

To be sure Team Hillary will have been using the tried and true playbook to depict Cruz as a devil who wants to kill old people and starve children. But Cruz would not be giving the Democrats the ammunition that Trump has been giving them.

Hillary Clinton is both morally challenged and legally compromised. Cruz would be able to exploit those deficit to the full. Trump, with his own problems, not the least the ones that come out of his mouth, has not been able to gain much traction.

The Republican primary voters, by nominating Trump instead of Cruz, threw away the chance of a landslide victory and a brilliant conservative restoration. Thus, they have created a looming tragedy that will harm the United States and incalculable ways.

HAHAHAHAHA! Who signs your paychecks, torcer?

  • TrojanMan

“On the other hand, I fully understand and sympathize with the position of those who say they must hold their nose and vote for Trump in order to stop Clinton. She’ll be a full-scale disaster. She’ll appoint a fifth Supreme Court justice to gut the First and Second Amendments. She’ll cripple our military. She’ll cram down tax increases and use the regulatory infrastructure to snap the knees of American industry.

Choosing Trump over Clinton is a perfectly defensible position, but it’s a tough call.”

“but it’s a tough call.”” Not really Ben. He must not have dealt with too many Trumpian cult members. They have the ability to turn people, who might otherwise be on the fence, over several fences.

  • Ed. G. Mann

What a crock of poop Torcer. Zogby just came out this AM with Trump 2 points behind Clinton and now even in Florida, ahead in NC, 2 points behind in Ohio and even in Colorado. Stop reading your own press releases. They’re three weeks old.

  • Tom

    Calm down, Reservoir-tip…
You pounce on kirklesworth and proclaim a WARNING!!
But you’re unconcerned – it raises NO questions in your mind – how torcer can post almost FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND comments on disqus in less than a year? I looked at your disqus page…torcer has only been a member of disqus since Aug 25 of last year…you’ve been on for well over two years, yet he has posted almost 130 times the comments you have.
Think about that…125 posts a DAY, 7 days a week, for almost 360 days straight, no holidays or vacation.

Now, I don’t know about you but doesn’t that extraordinary amount of posts – and not just quick comments, but LONG posts with a lot of html tags for italics, bold print, different font sizes – doesn’t that raise any questions about his motivations for almost 900 posts a week?

It does me, and it SHOULD raise questions with you, such as how and WHY someone who is merely a concerned citizen would make posting on disqus (and twitter…he’s prolific on there, too) into a full-time job unless he’s getting paid for it.
Seriously…if there was a pro-Trump poster who flooded disqus with thousands – TENS OF THOUSANDS – of pro-Trump posts, you wouldn’t suspect that he was getting paid for it?

  • Tom

I think her means concrete actions you could take before December, not your fantasies about civil war. Are you buddies with peashooter?

  • And yet, the LA Times has this to say (at the time I posted this – the numbers will certainly change):

    http://www.latimes.com/politics/

USC Dornsife/LA Times Presidential Election Daybreak Poll shows Trump at 43.2% and Hillary at 44.2% – a difference of exactly 1%, within the statistical margin of error, too close to call.

Trump holds the advantage among those 65 or older – he’s had the lead consistently there. The two candidates have exchanged leads among younger voters with Clinton ahead by 5.4% in the 18-34 group but behind by .3% in the 35-64 bracket.

  • My opinion is that Trump was foisted upon the Republicans by Democrat crossover votes, among other things.

I think Cruz, though he too is flawed (who isn’t these days?), would have won had Trump not allegedly been urged to jump in by Bill Clinton.

Those who think he’s intentionally sabotaging his campaign as part of the original Clinton/Trump plan may be right – though it’s difficult to believe anyone this close to winning (or as close as he was before he continued to make several major mistakes) would intentionally lose, but hey, it’s possible.

  • Tom

Wow…talk about missing the forest for the trees…
Take a look at torcer…he’s been a member of disqus for less than a year (Aug. 25 2015), yet he’s made almost 45,000 posts. Think about that…that’s 125 posts a day, 7 days a week, for the last 360 days straight. No weekends, no holidays, but 125 LONG posts with links and html tags – EVERY SINGLE DAY for almost a year.
Does that raise any questions as far as HIS motivations?

  • Once you make a comment on the web it’s forever. No need to keep logs. And with the built in search function I can have your comments all right here to scroll through at leisure, any time I want, I imagine, though come to think of it I’ve never thought to try and use it that way. If you’re really concerned about someone paying attention to and keeping track of what you’re saying I suggest you give up internet posting and take up croquet.

  • Tom

I’ve never seen YOU deny getting paid for your torrid 125-posts-a-day, all-Anti-Trump-All-The-Time activity….

    Who signs your paychecks, torcer?

  • Odd, you accuse him of NOT ANSWERING then when he does, for the first time, you accuse him of lying.

I got news for you – I’ve never done it on this website, but when dealing with your garden variety lunatic liberal moonbat it’s pretty much a given that you must keep track of what they say and where they said it. Otherwise you just end up running around in circles with them forever.

As I said before, if you’re worried about someone keeping track of then confronting you with what you said, you really need to retire from INTERNET posting altogether.

  • Torcer

Did I actually mention those polls?

Do you believe those polls more because they tell you want you want to hear?

  • Torcer

How droll, your tiresome old loaded questions… based on lies.

Perhaps you should try to come up with new material.

  • Tom

To point out the strangely British or Canadian spelling / phrases he uses?
Doesn’t it make you wonder when someone who purports to be an American (torcer) uses the British spelling of words such as neighbour, colour, or calls the toilet a loo? That doesn’t make you wonder if he’s being truthful? Because I’ve NEVER seen any American use these spellings or phrases, have you?
Yet here’s torcer, with almost 45,000 posts in LESS THAN ONE YEAR, pretending to be just a concerned citizen? The sheer volume of 125 posts a day for 360 days straight doesn’t make you wonder, “Why is he making a full-time job out of posting on disqus or twitter (he’s active on there, too)?
How in the world can a Joe Citizen spend that much time and effort on anti-Trump social media…unless he’s getting paid for it?

  • Tom

Again, no denial. Who signs your paychecks?

  • Torcer

    loaded question
You asked a question that had a presumption built into it so that it couldn’t be answered without appearing guilty.

Loaded question fallacies are particularly effective at derailing rational debates because of their inflammatory nature – the recipient of the loaded question is compelled to defend themselves and may appear flustered or on the back foot.
    https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/loaded-question

  • Technically he never said he didn’t have a list – he simply asked you specifically what list you were talking about. The list he later produced could be easily generated to respond to your queries after the fact – but not, it turns out, by using the search function built into MOONBATTERY. That will give you posts where the author (Blount) mentioned you, generally in hat tips. However, you can go to ANY THREAD and do a search using your browser and come up with where someone’s name appears. So having a list doesn’t prove he had one when he said “what list?” It could have been generate ex post facto.

Just to make sure he keeps living in your head, because you let him.

I still recommend croquet if you are having issues with people on the internet taking enough of an interest in what you say to keep track so their responses are appropriate and consistent – and perhaps to show patterns of your posting, if necessary.

  • Tom

Again, you’re not denying getting paid for your torrents of anti-Trump propaganda, are you?

  • Torcer

    Try reading something for once…

  • Torcer

    loaded question
You asked a question that had a presumption built into it so that it couldn’t be answered without appearing guilty.

    https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/loaded-question

  • Tom

Ask torcer who signs his paychecks.

  • None of those is likely and frankly the last two would certainly be disasters and probably the first as well.

The reality, faced by those who deal in reality, is that, barring a Giant Meteor, Trump or Clinton will be President next January. Well, maybe Clinton will win the election and by some miracle the ongoing attempts to make her pay for her many crimes will end up succeeding before inauguration day… but even then what next? Does she get inaugurated then impeached? And her VP moves up? What happens then? I haven’t thought it through.

Given the reality of either Trump or Clinton being elected, it is incumbent upon us to determine which we KNOW will do grave damage to the U.S. and put it’s people and future at most risk and ensure that one is NOT elected.

If you’re going to tell me it’s difficult to determine – I’m right there with you! In this I am pretty sure both are going to be disasters. But the “people who say vote for Trump to stop Clinton are crazy” crowd are the crazy ones. Because stopping Clinton, even if it means electing Trump, looks like the least of the two disasters. Sure, I cannot see him being GOOD for the country, but at least I think it can survive 4 years of Trump. I doubt we will get through, and even if so, doubt we will get over, 4 years of Hillary.

And that means those determined to do all they can to ensure Trump does not stop Hillary will be responsible for what happens if she winds up President.

  • I would recommend altering your statement on that to,

“YOU DON’T HAVE ANY REALISTICALLY VIABLE OPTIONS”.

Or even add that their options may well wind up WORSE than EITHER a Trump or Clinton presidency.

If we start a revolution – well the scenario will be much worse than that in the movie WOLVERINES (either the original or the remake) as you know Russia, China and others would jump at the opportunities that would present.

  • Tom

So anything that isn’t all anti-Trump all the time is “off topic” and disruptive. Got it!

  • You come off as being either very young or very immature. Enough with the name calling. Be an adult.

  • Torcer

Most of the time it’s merely a question of quoting what they’ve said recently that easily trips them up such as this from KW:

  • Trump was a Democratic Party master plan all along, perhaps… though the one thing they may have miscalculated was his inability to stick with the plan and NOT try to win, even if he’s ill-suited to do so.

  • Torcer

Did you miss the part where I said:

How droll, your tiresome old loaded questions… based on lies.

  • KirklesWorth

No, that’s called giving you credit. You should be gracious.

  • Torcer

Curious that you pipe up when the subject is projection….

  • And with that Trump is still (according to this morning’s LIBERAL LA TIMES poll, within 1% of Hillary, go figure.

I know, it’s just one poll and others suggest things are worse, but there’s a great explanation for what you posted here.

Americans – at least the ones who MIGHT make a difference in November, seem to have very short attention spans.

It may be that Trump is planning an all out blitz towards the end.

If so, it’s doubtful he would reveal that to his opponent and her team.

Unlike cramming for a final exam, this may be an extremely successful strategy, if that is what he is doing.

  • KirklesWorth

Why are you participating in a thread about lists, use a list, and then call it a straw man?

Sure – “What ‘list’?” is a lie, eh?

  • WMD

    Tom, I don’t think I missed anything.
Moonbattery isn’t a fan of Trump. Neither is Torcer.
Whereas Kirklesworth is very pro-Trump obviously.
The K-man is dogged in his replies and is pretty redundant.
It’s clear he isn’t convincing anyone and it seemed obvious he doesn’t see the futility with typing out the same old chestnut over and over and over again. I just find that odd.
Furthermore, when I get into the comments and see these tit-for-tats going on I skip them usually and move to, hopefully, more insightful comments and discussions.
But the K-man gave me a good reply and I’m satisfied with that.
I was only trying to understand his tactics a little better, that’s all.

  • You just asked him the question he just answered. Do you always ignore it when someone answers your question and ask it again?

In case you missed it – his answer was:

    Q: Why are you here?

    A: Um…because I want to be.

Now he asked you a question – answer it then it’s your turn to ask:

Q: But why do you want to be here?

If you think there’s any point in doing so, I mean. I can’t see one.

  • Tom

So 45,000 anti-Trump posts in 360 days doesn’t raise your eyebrows? Not even a little?
Because torcer is anti-Trump, you just ignore the evidence that, if anyone here is getting paid, it’s him?

  • KirklesWorth

And that’s the old list. Here’s the latest:

Here is the Trump-supporter anti-Hillary plan:

    1. Defeat Hillary
    2. Deal with Trump

    The anti-Trump Hillary-enablers’ “plan”:

#1 Attack Trump & supporters to:
    . . .A. Spark an “uprising”
    . . . – OR –
. . .B. Punish America for nominating Trump
. . .C. Offer longshot vote-splitting alternatives or no plan whatsoever
    #2 Goto #1 until election
#3 “Enjoy” Hillary’s presidency knowing you helped
#4 Smugly repeat #1 ad nauseam

  • Tom

What lies, moron? Anyone can go to your disqus page and see how many posts you have cranked out…125 a day on average. Is that a lie? Is disqus out to get you by putting up fake user stats?
    Where’s the lie?

  • Torcer

    Tom

Again, no denial. Who signs your paychecks?

Did you miss the part where I said:

How droll, your tiresome old loaded questions… based on lies.

    Try that that for starters.

    loaded question
You asked a question that had a presumption built into it so that it couldn’t be answered without appearing guilty.

Loaded question fallacies are particularly effective at derailing rational debates because of their inflammatory nature – the recipient of the loaded question is compelled to defend themselves and may appear flustered or on the back foot.

  • KirklesWorth

So let me get this straight – you keep referring me back to old threads (which of course I don’t consider a big deal) that you have on your list (which of course I don’t consider a big deal), but it is a big deal when I do it? Just how would that be “projection”?

  • Ed. G. Mann

No you don’t mention any polls. You just gather a batch of crap out of the air and post it as reality. The Last poll in NY had Hillary up by 19 points. As I said, you make up something, read RedState which as very anti-Trump and then spew that as gospel.

  • Torcer

Can you actually address the comment I referenced?

  • Torcer

    Try reading what you wrote:

    KirklesWorth
Ooooh! There’s one of those “dreaded lists”! Evil! Evil! Hahaha…and you still haven’t offered any viable alternatives, so get over yourself.
    http://moonbattery.com/?p=75247#comment-2842857991

Note the use of a strawman in that little ditty.
BTW, Trump is becoming less viable by the day.
I’ve offered alternatives – and the fact is you were caught in a lie.

  • Torcer

Perhaps that is the case – the problem with that strategy is that she can define him in very unflattering terms and make it impossible to climb out of a poll deficit as it were.

It was estimated that only around 9% participated in the primaries so many haven’t thought about it yet so your postulation my be correct, but she’s running her adverts on mainstream channels so people minds could be made up before he gets a chance..

  • Torcer

    Why are you here?

  • Torcer

Many have noticed that he has made many an unforced error such that it looks like he does not want to win.

  • TrojanMan

See you are coherent and think logically. You are someone whom which i can have a respectful conversation even though we may not agree.

“”people who say vote for Trump to stop Clinton are crazy””

You will never find any post where i state that. I have always maintained that if your conscience and convictions allow then by all means vote Trump. I do not believe a word he says and since words are worthless the only thing left are his past actions which he has a long history of donating to progressives such as Reid, Schumer, Clinton, et al.

I also believe this country is too far beyond repair and no matter who wins the ship cannot be righted. That is why you will hear me say it does not matter whom you vote for. That is my outlook on where this country stand.

A Trumpian to me is not someone who will simply vote Trump. A Trumpian is someone who throws around insults and traitor because you do not want to vote Trump. They do him no favors.

By your statements I would not consider you a Trumpian.

    Good Day.

  • TrojanMan

Calling someone a liar is not name calling.

  • TrojanMan

He fits the definition of a troll ergo…

  • TrojanMan

He has a list. I find your defense of this Troll admirable but he does nothing but cause strife and general discontent. He does not care for honest debate. He is a troll plain and simple.

    Good Day

  • KirklesWorth

TrojanMan – “using lists is bad”. We do it.

Go ahead and call me a “liar” – I’ll defend myself.

Which is the “viable alternative” du jour:

    1. Ted Cruz
    2. Peyton Manning (joking)
    3. Brad Thor
    4. Darrel Castle
    5. Evan McMullin
    6. Convention of States
    7. Secession
    8. Revolution
    9. Other (specify):_________________

And remember, you’re not “selling” your “alternatives”…

  • KirklesWorth

I was making a new comment. I already addressed it below:

Ooooh! There’s one of those “dreaded lists”! Evil! Evil! Hahaha…and you still haven’t offered any viable alternatives, so get over yourself.

  • KirklesWorth

Yeah…you keep asking that…the answer is: to keep an eye on things. Why are you here and do you have a problem with me being here?

  • KirklesWorth

    Who doesn’t?

  • WMD

Sounds like you got it covered I’ll let you handle it.

  • KirklesWorth

Yeah,, and you can say “Cookie Monster” is an alternative – should I believe it? Please state the number(s) of the viable alternatives:

    1. Ted Cruz
    2. Peyton Manning (joking)
    3. Brad Thor
    4. Darrel Castle
    5. Evan McMullin

  • Torcer

Again: You can do that without incessantly attacking Conservatives…

Perhaps you should try being constructive for once.

I’m here to inform people, do you have a problem with that?

  • Torcer

    Ed. G. Mann

No you don’t mention any polls. You just gather a batch of crap out of the air and post it as reality. The Last poll in NY had Hillary up by 19 points. As I said, you make up something, read RedState which as very anti-Trump and then spew that as gospel.

So you are denying the reality of the polls I’ve posted?

Breitbart/Gravis Poll: Hillary Clinton Leads Donald Trump 42% to 37% Nationally in 4-Way with Johnson 9%, Stein 3%
    14 Aug 2016
Democratic nominee Hillary R. Clinton leads in a four-way contest with 42 percent of the vote, compared to Donald J. Trump with 37 percent, Libertarian Gary Johnson with 9 percent, and 3 percent for Green Party nominee Dr. Jill Stein, according to a Breitbart/Gravis national poll conducted Aug. 9 with 2,832 likely voters.

“This is a four-way race, but the question is if Johnson and Stein can hold their voters through the general,” said Doug Kaplan, the managing partner of Gravis Marketing, the Florida-based firm that executed the poll. The poll carries a 1.8 percent margin of error with the 95 percent confidence level. The total may not round to 100 percent because of rounding. The poll was conducted using automated telephone calls and weighted by voting patterns.

“There is no incumbent, but Clinton is the status quo. It is common for the undecideds to break for the challenger, which would be Trump, the more she clings to Obama,” Kaplan said. President Barack Obama has strongly endorsed Clinton and promised to campaign with his former secretary of state.

Alex Marlow, the editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, said it was the natural next step for Breitbart to establish its own series of polls.
    http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/08/14/breitbartgravis-poll-hillary-clinton-leads-donald-trump-42-to-37/

Election Update: 10 Big Questions About The Election, Revisited
Who’s ahead in the polls right now?

Clinton, by a lot. National polls that include third-party candidates have Clinton with an average of 44 to 45 percent of the vote, Trump at 36 to 37 percent, and Libertarian Gary Johnson at roughly 9 percent. State polls tell a broadly similar story. Trump’s low percentage of the vote is noteworthy: Every major-party nominee since 1928 has received at least 36.5 percent of the vote. (Democrat John W. Davis got just 28.8 percent in 1924.)
    What’s the degree of uncertainty?
Moderate-to-high, although decreasing. The polls are often highly volatile around the party conventions, but they come out of the conventions considerably more accurate than they were beforehand. The question is whether we’re far enough away from the conventions — which concluded on July 28 — that we can no longer attribute Clinton’s lead to some sort of “convention bounce.” There isn’t a hard-and-fast answer to this question, but for what it’s worth, the convention-bounce adjustment applied by our polls-plus model will begin wearing off this week. More importantly, we’re approaching the point where a Trump comeback would be relatively lacking in precedent.
What would keep me up late at night if I were Clinton?
At some point, complacency could become an issue, although it’s probably too early to worry about that. In the nearer term, I’d be worried that the race has been so volatile.
What would keep me up late at night if I were Trump?
I might not be sleeping at all. The tactics that helped me to win the primary don’t seem to be working in the general election. My position in the polls is deteriorating from middling to dire. Most acutely, I’d worry about getting cut off by the Republican National Committee or thrown under the bus by down-ballot Republican candidates who are rightly concerned about their own survival. If those things happen, I might not have the resources to win the election even if the debates and the news cycle turn in my favor in September and October.
    http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/election-update-10-big-questions-about-the-election-revisited/

  • TED

    ROTFLMAO!!

  • TED

    EXACTLY!!! He’s another…

  • My best bet is that you’re going to continue this nonsense behavior until at least the election, if not beyond.

    No, I don’t get high.

    Do you?

    Are you?

  • That’s odd, I thought it was pretty clear I wasn’t defending anyone/anything, just pointing out that those with thin skins should stick to croquet instead of internet posting.

    Good Day to you, too!

  • It is when the claim is the real lie.

Also, as he noted, (and I’m not ‘taking sides’, rather just giving you an objective view of what’s going on) when Torcer actually DID present a list you didn’t have a problem with that and you still haven’t told him what list you were originally referring to – which was where the whole “liar” claim originated. Since, at that time, you can’t prove there was a list and couldn’t point to or produce the one you said existed, that actually makes YOU the liar. There’s still no proof the list he eventually presented wasn’t formed after the fact.

  • I am glad you have come to fairly reasonable conclusions about me. I also say that I tend to agree with some, at least, of the things you said here.

I’m not trying to take sides, defend anyone or get in the middle of you guys. I just get tired of all the really juvenile bickering that this election is causing – probably part of the grand Democratic strategy to finish of the Republican party – which at this point I would be glad to drive a stake through the heart of myself on some days, given the behavior of some so-called “Republicans”.

I do understand both points of view and sympathize with both. I don’t know who I will vote for – this may be the first year I’ve been eligible to vote for a President where I leave it blank. But I doubt that. Probably what I will do is I will observe/study both Hillary and Donald until election day and then… well I can’t say I’ll vote for Trump because I don’t know that I will, or will be able to, but I know not voting for him is just a tiny step down from voting for Hillary, or at least not making an effective attempt to vote against her.

And yes, I admit that the theory that Trump will be as bad – or worse – could bear fruit. That’s the real bitch this election cycle. I just don’t see that happening.

  • That is one valid way to put it – though the explanation could be that he’s

    1) Out of his depth when it comes to poltiics

    2) Not a good extemporaneous speaker – I think he’s got that one locked down, in fact. (We used to complain about Obama’s teleprompter – now that Trump is the Republican nominee – still can’t get used to that – I find myself wishing he would use one.)

    3) Unable to control himself (see #2) and often says things he regrets later because, in his non-political life, he can get away with that sort of nonsense and still move forward. Old habits die hard.

    4) Feel free to add to this list.

  • It is dangerous to let your opponent define you in as negative a light as Donald has allowed.

You and others (Dave included) have talked about the damage Trump did to the Republican party as a supposed Republican (meaning he’s clearly a liberal, not a conservative Republican such as what we really need) candidate, is doing as the supposed Republican nominee and may do as a supposedly Republican president.

I think a recent post talked about “losing a generation” – curiously the same thing the Democrats are doing by rigging the election for Hillary… but I digress.

    Or not.

Because I’ve been advocating for abolishing both parties for some time. I used to say “starting with the Democrats” but I think it’s time we just threw all the bums out at once.

Giant Meteor 2016 is looking better and better every day – and I even saw my first Giant Meteor 2016 bumper sticker the other day. So the idea is gaining advocates.

I agree that waiting for an endgame blitz may be a risky and losing strategy – I deliberately gave you a chance to mention that she may be scooping up early voters as a result before I did – but also consider election cycle fatigue – she may in fact be overloading them with her message and towards the end a fresh, new, loud message from him might actually be what he needs to sprint ahead in the home stretch.

    Or not.

Because you may be right – he may have no intention of winning, for all we know. I just can’t see ANYONE going at it the way he has this long, bumbling as he’s been at times, to give up and not go for the brass ring when it comes around at the end.

  • I just get tired of the bickering.

I understand both those who see Trump as the only way to stop Hillary and those who feel (perhaps rightly so) that Trump would be as bad, or worse.

But this bickering is just fulfilling exactly what the Democrats hoped would happen – what is actually the only way Hillary has a chance, given the fact we now know that the left’s darling, Bernie Sanders, never had a chance in an election that was rigged on that side from the start.
I see the hand of Soros in this, but then again that makes me the mirror of those who see the Koch brothers, Fox News and Rush Limbaugh behind every conservative move they despise.

I wish you all – and that goes for him, too, and everyone else! – have your say, stop attacking each other, and that means stop with the funny names for the pro- and anti- Trump factions. Say what you will about Trump, but more important, say what needs to be said about Hillary. Because, so far anyway, I agree Trump might come in a close third to Obama and Carter as far as “Worst President Ever” goes, but Hillary might actually give him a run for his money on that title. I have to say that this is one of those times where the doctrine of “least harm” will come to play – though you might say, and I won’t argue, that we really don’t know which will do the least harm.

But given the current state of the USSC, I would tend to say probably Hillary, on that issue alone, without even mentioning the many other issues where she’s made it clear she will be much worse than Trump.

And yes, there are some where there’s not a whole lot of difference, sadly.

national polling is worthless… state by state electoral college polling all have Trump losing in landslide to Hillary… only question is the level of the debacle @ Mondale, Dukakis levels

  • Perhaps correct, but history shows that polls are often wrong – even exit polls, at least as reported.

There is one poll that will matter – election day.

A lot can happen between now and then, from Hillary having that stroke that is affecting her daily to Giant meteor 2016.

  • Unfortunately since they’re virtually assuring 4-8 years of Hillary, that goes double for the #NeverTrump crowd…

  • You’re right about them both being awful.

I don’t think that loyal, conservative, true Republicans deserve Trump. But the establishment GOP does – they got EXACTLY what they deserved.

GIANT METEOR 2016! (Because that’s what it will take to wipe out both Republicans and Democrats and start fresh!)

Constructive, like, figuring out what your end goal is? You claim you are anti-Trump and anti-Hillary – so what are you pro-(fill in the blank)? Pro-Evan McMullan? Pro-uprising? Pro-anarchy?

No, did I say I had a problem with that? And I’m here to see why people are attacking the republican candidate and possibly helping Hillary Clinton. Do you have a problem with that?

A candidate does not spend where it isn’t needed, period. That is far more telling and probably more accurate of a predictor than any polling could be at this point.

  • 762×51

The problem is that the tRump disaster will most likely cause the R Progressives to lose control of the Senate to the D Progresives. That will make Chuckie Schumer Senate Majority Leader. Remember tRump said he would just “go it alone” if the Senate was lost. Of course he can’t just appoint a SCOTUS justice and swear them in, he may think he can, but we all know better.

How many “Conservative” SCOTUS justices do you suppose Schumer would allow to come to a vote on the Senate floor? Hint: the number is less than 1. That means that the whole argument of “tRump will appoint justices the Trumpanzees want” goes up in smoke, but such is the ignorance and naivety of the Trumpanzee.

  • Torcer

You will not that it rarely answers questions or supports it’s supposed candidate.

  • KirklesWorth

And what is your desired outcome of this election Torcer?

  • Torcer

Also not that it tries to deflect blame when trapped.

  • KirklesWorth

    Yep, that’s me – a trapped blame-deflecting Torcer admirer.

  • Torcer

Yes, it tried to use that tactic in my condemning of it’s use of a tiresomely repetitive loaded question.

  • Torcer

And that never seems to be the case with thread that criticize Comrade Clinton.

  • Torcer

KirklesWorth Constructive, like, figuring out what your end goal is? You claim you are anti-Trump and anti-Hillary – so what are you pro-(fill in the blank)? Pro-Evan McMullan? Pro-uprising? Pro-anarchy?

I’ve already answered that ad nauseam.

Evan McMullin: It is Time for a Divided America to Unite [VIDEO]
In an interview with Kate Bolduan on CNN Tuesday, new Independent presidential candidate Evan McMullin, 40, continued his media blitz, fighting the uphill battle of getting Americans to know the previously unknown candidate with less than three months before the election in November.

One of the main themes of McMullin’s message during the interview was that both highly unpopular big party candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are extremely divisive and that his goal would be to unite Americans in a way that neither can.

“Everything about Donald Trump is extreme. He tries to divide Americans in the same way ISIS does, or other adversaries — the same way Vladimir Putin does. He wants to pit religion against religion, race against race.

We’ve been a divided country for so long, Kate. It is time for us to unite. And I believe that both candidates of the major parties — Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump — in their own and different ways are dividing this country.

I believe that I can unite this country. I believe that Americans want to be united. I believe there’s a great desire for that among most Americans and that’s what we hope to provide is a way forward in that regard.”

KirklesWorth No, did I say I had a problem with that? And I’m here to see why people are attacking the republican candidate and possibly helping Hillary Clinton. Do you have a problem with that?

Why haven’t you posted any articles on Comrade Clinton?…

  • KirklesWorth

Yep it did. It also thinks you guys are a good team.

  • KirklesWorth

Oh right…that Evan McMullin you are “selling”. How’s it going? How’s he polling? Aren’t you worried about his poll numbers? Aren’t you concerned he is trying to sabotage his own campaign? Why isn’t he spending enough money on campaigning?

Well, forgive me if I listen to Charles Krauthammer’s opinion over yours:

He’s not running for president, he’s running to be what Ralph Nader was to Al Gore was in 2000, although he did it inadvertently which is to siphon off enough conservative…traditional conservative republicans, to cost Trump perhaps a state or two in a close election. It’s a way to give an anti-Trump republican, who cannot possibly stomach voting for Hillary, a place to go rather than writing in another name. That’s what he is trying to do, he’s allowed to do it, but he’s not running for president. https://share.grabien.com/file.php?id=106170&searchorder=date

I’ve grown weary of the bickering as well – you will note that I’ve held off on discussing some of the more recent Trump gaffes and debacles.

The 2nd amendment ‘gaffe’ is a good example – his point was correct in some ways but he was badly inarticulate in expressing the thought.

At some point if things come to pass, I could see the Extreme court trying to ‘repeal’ that amendment in effect and I can see people beginning to ignore such rulings.

Where is goes from there is anyone’s guess..

  • Torcer

It really looks like the GOP is a dead party walking – someone just has to pick up the body.

Glenn Beck stated the other day that this is like the Berlin wall coming down – but the other way around.

The difference there is that the socialists were out of ideas and the GOP just abandoned it’s principles.

  • Torcer

He should have been able to hire the best people to help him in these efforts and he should be on prompter and OFF twitter so he doesn’t step on his message.

    4) Part of their problem is that the intimation tactics that sort of worked in the primaries WILL NOT work now – the polling data should inform them of that.

But they refuse to change tactics – Why>

  • Torcer

That a candidate who champions liberty wins…

Now that I’ve answered your question – you answer mine – Do you believe the polls?

  • Torcer

    Answer the question please.

  • Torcer

Are you serious? I just posted an article about him.

    TRY AGAIN

  • KirklesWorth

Okay, so what? How’s he polling? Aren’t you worried?

  • Torcer

And I’ve answered your questions – now it YOUR turn: Do you believe the polls?

Shouldn’t Trump and his followers try something different?

  • KirklesWorth

    Where are Evan McMullin’s polls?

  • Torcer

Apparently they haven’t begun polling for him, so what is your point aside from dodging the question?

Now that I’ve answered your questions – now it YOUR turn:
    Do you believe the polls?

Shouldn’t Trump and his followers try something different?

  • KirklesWorth

“Do you believe the polls?” Not particularly at this stage of the game. Haven’t I said that before? Liberals use them to sway public opinion pretty much the way you are trying to do here.

“Shouldn’t Trump and his followers try something different?” Not necessarily. It gives you the opportunity to point out the failures while skimming over the successes…kind of like what liberals do.

My turn. As whimsical as your statement “That a candidate who champions liberty wins”, that really isn’t true. Ted Cruz lost, and there are only two viable candidates and neither of them champion your version of “liberty”. So how about you try again and tell me “what is your desired outcome of this election?”

So many coincidences, so few realistic explanations of your anti-Trump obsession. You’ve thrown out Evan McMullin as a distraction so I won’t claim you have “no alternatives”, but that’s the same tactic you’ve used with Brad Thor who now endorses Trump http://moonbattery.com/?p=75310). So my guess is McMullin is to placate me for a while so you can continue your anti-Trump agenda for whatever ends you are seeking.

  • Torcer
