Grubhub CEO Calls on Trump Supporters to Resign

Moonbats often shout that Republicans are intolerant. How is this for intolerant?

The CEO of Grubhub, an online food delivery service, sent a company wide email Wednesday suggesting employees who agree with President-elect Donald Trump’s behaviors and his campaign rhetoric should resign.

“If you do not agree with this statement then please reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here,” wrote Matt Maloney, Co-Founder of Grubhub. “We do not tolerate hateful attitudes on our team.”

That is, they do not tolerate the intolerant. They don’t even tolerate people who tolerate intolerance. Only through absolute intolerance can tolerance be imposed, allowing the Holy Grail of ideological homogeneity to be achieved.

At first Maloney was quite pleased with himself:

Maloney tells Fox News that “almost 20 percent” of his employees have personally thanked him for the note. “I am not embarrassed by it,” he said.

But then #BoycottGrubhub kicked in. Now Maloney is in backpedal mode, yelping that his email was “misconstrued.”

The email seems clear enough. An excerpt:

I absolutely reject the nationalist, anti-immigrant and hateful politics of Donald Trump and will work to shield our community from this movement as best as I can. …

If you do not agree with this statement then please reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here.

Maloney pleads that he “did not ask for anyone to resign if they voted for Trump.” True enough; he only asked for people who do not absolutely reject Trump’s politics to resign.

  • MAS

Wrong about what, that Trump wouldn’t win? OK you were correct, feel better now?

This conservative held that Trump was a reprobate of the first order and no actual conservative as my main thrust. Did the Electoral College disprove that? No. As a Christian I will submit myself to the governing authorities (Romans 13, 1 Peter 2: 13-17 etc) but that does not mean I trust that he will become a moral man or even a conservative statesman. Unlike you, I will wait until he has actually taken office then gauge his actions. Talk is cheap…

    1. Again: YOU have to PROVE YOUR ACCUSATIONS, so far you have FAILED to do so.

  • Trump has already done this country a great favor by denying Hillary the presidency. He will reverse Obama’s executive orders and abusive regulations, kill and replace Obamacare, preserve the second amendment, and nominate conservatives to the SCOTUS. What is it you Never Trumpers don’t like about this? You did not help accomplish this. You would happily have let Hillary destroy America just for your own self-satisfaction. At what point will get off of your high horses and admit you almost facilitated a disaster? Knowing your attitudes, I’d say Never.

I was wrong that he would not win. Technically speaking he still lost the popular vote which some on here claim he has won but cannot scientifically backup their claims. If you bother to read the comments i had already said as such.

I pray for the country that I continue to be wrong. In the end it matters not as this country has gone down a path many many years ago that will either lead to full tyranny and/or revolution

  • TrojanMan

If and when he does all these wonderful things then he will get the praise he deserves but not until such time.

I have been using Grubhub for about a year now, and I loved it. But, no more. They lost me over this…for now anyway. I sent a message to the company this morning letting them know how much I had enjoyed their service and how disappointed I was in what their CEO said.

  • TrojanMan

    3. Please explain scientifically how Trump has more popular votes.

They are still counting so it is possible he could end up with more but at present you claim he has more. Please show us your scientific method for determining this.

  • TrojanMan

The unfortunate truth is if we were to boycott all progressive companies we would probably be running around naked, no cars, no phones, no computers, no electricity, no water, etc.

  • Jester
  • Fiberal

I showed it. You replied contiguously with the same banality, totally missing the point.
But just what are you whining about? For me to show you how to do arithmetic as well?

Okay, since the math was too much for you, here’s a completely different way to look at it:

    Look.

    1) Cowliary had the ostensible popular vote by around 150K.

Now read this very carefully out loud to yourself:
    2) “Cowliary loses votes if the dimocrat cheating is adjusted for”

Again, very slowly: Illegal votes for Cowliary should not count when tabulating the popular vote.

    3) VA’s Gov Terry MacCauliff reiterated the voting rights for at least 60K felons just in time for the general. This was done against a court order to cease and desist. Felons almost always vote dimocrat. That’s cheating (and illegal).

    4) So with 60K votes in the bag, that means that only 90K votes nationally were due to other Clinton Machine cheating methods.

    Including:

illegal immigrant voting (and you can ignore this for the sake of simplicity—-reported to be about 6% of the total population in the US, or about 1.8M illegal votes using Ann Coulter’s number of 30M)

foreign money accepted by the Cowliary campaign
    the Clinton Foundation
    intimidation
    vote buying
    disinformation
    misleading ballots
    misrecordation of votes
    misuse of proxy votes
    destruction or invalidation of ballots
    tampering with electronic voting machines
    voter impersonation
    artificial results
    early voting
    multiple voting
whole towns and dim precincts that allow illegal voting

But by any method of calculation, the Cheating Machine would almost assuredly account for more than 90K of illegitimate votes. That number taken with the 60K felon vote, would clearly swamp the 150K figure, falsely touted to be Cowliary’s popular vote margin.

    .

So okay? very little math. just read and add 6+9.
    capische?

  • TrojanMan

“Illegal votes for Cowliary should not count when tabulating the popular vote.”
“Cowliary loses votes if the dimocrat cheating is adjusted for”

Ok very very slowly…. How do you quantify that?

So since by ESTIMATIONS 6% of the population is illegal you use that number to justify your calculations against a HARD number? So Illegal Mexicans get out 100% of the vote?

“VA’s Gov Terry MacCauliff reiterated the voting rights for at least 60K felons just in time for the general.”

So 100% of inmates voted and they ALL voted for Hitlery?

Dude just admit you are pulling these numbers out of your ass….

  • Fiberal

    Are you serious? Really?

Read it again, genius. It’s 6% of the total population of 30M illegal immigrants that reportedly vote. You couldn’t deduce that?
(that’s why I told you to ignore that part)

And just how many VA felons (felons… not inmates) … mexicans and somalis for the most part, do you think are going to go Republican? Give it a an overestimation of what, 10%? work it out.. Doesn’t change much.

    Man.

    .
I don’t mind a bit of back and forth but,
    Okay. Stay on point.
Or say one more really stupid thing and you will just become certifiably too stupid to talk to.

  • TrojanMan

“reportedly”… let me say what YOU said again “reportedly”

    “overestimation” ESTIMATION!!!

    understand this…

YOU ARE PROVIDING ESTIMATIONS!!!!!!! i.e. A GUESS!!!!! What are the ACTUAL HARD NUMBERS??????

What is the ACTUAL EXACT number of illegal votes that we should remove from Hitlerys total? We certainly cannot remove MORE than the actual exact number because that would be removing citizen votes. Less and there would still be cheating.

All you can do is pull numbers out of your ass and provide wild ESTIMATIONS of the number of illegal votes. You have no clue as to the exact number therefore unless the ACTUAL Popular vote goes to Trump than Hitlery won the popular vote.

“Or say one more really stupid thing and you will just become certifiably too stupid to talk to.” Do you promise? If so what do i need to say then?

  • Fiberal

You realize of course, that you just made a blithering fool out of yourself; right?

  • TrojanMan

I will ask one more time. How many votes, exactly, should we remove from Hitlery’s total?

    again….

“Or say one more really stupid thing and you will just become certifiably too stupid to talk to.” Do you promise? If so what do i need to say then?

  • Tyrconnell

The part right before the “If you do not agree” was:

“As we all try to understand what this vote means to us, I want to affirm to anyone on our team that is scared or feels personally exposed, that I and everyone else here at Grubhub will fight for your dignity and your right to make a better life for yourself and your family here in the United States.”

  • Tyrconnell

Left out part of the statement, “As we all try to understand what this vote means to us, I want to affirm to anyone on our team that is scared or feels personally exposed, that I and everyone else here at Grubhub will fight for your dignity and your right to make a better life for yourself and your family here in the United States.”

which was in that edited out section in the excerpt.

  • MAS

Reading comprehension not your strong point, is it? I do see that straw-man argument does seem to be though.

  • Pingback: A question for the CEO of Grubhub - Watcher of Weasels()

  • The votes of the military and others on absentee ballots have not been counted, so the popular vote is not decided. However, you and your Never Trump ilk are responsible for any popular vote difference in favor of Hillary, so I wouldn’t use that as a Trump put-down if I were you.

  • Is this a leftist site now? I just want to know.

  • He’s “no actual conservative”. Yes, I read that. So that justifies Hillary’s election? Is that what you meant?

  • I don’t excuse any leftist corrupt lies or actions. Trump has espoused some liberal ideas, but I am hopeful he has seen the light after his exposure to the evil the left produces. My question is, why do Never Trumpers think Hillary would have been an improvement? Is their sole purpose to punish those who disagree with them? That is truly insane.

  • TrojanMan

“but I am hopeful he has seen the light after his exposure to the evil the left produces.” As am I now that he has been elected.

“why do Never Trumpers think Hillary would have been an improvement?” We do not. It is and has always been a straw man. You know very well that NO ONE here wanted Hitlery to win. Neither are worthy of the office and i would not put my approval to either of them with my vote.

Trump won, he will be the president, now all i can do is pray he is not the progressive i fear him to be. I will give him credit when and where he deserves it, i will condemn him when and where he deserves it.

  • Good for you. I support your position. I just don’t support what your fellow Never Trumpers tried to do. If you really didn’t want Hillary to win, why didn’t you vote for Trump? Obviously, it wasn’t that important to you that Hillary is an evil corruptocrat and could have been President.

  • TrojanMan

What we tried to do is expose Trump for what we saw him as…. a progressive. Could he have changed his ways? Yes that is quite possible and that will remain to be seen.

My position was if you felt you needed to vote Trump then by all means do so. I for one am not because his past stances, donations, etc led me to believe he is a progressive running as a republican. I think he would say anything to get elected. That was my stance and yet remains to be proven wrong.

I came into conflict with those who would not accept this position and decided that i must be a Hillary enabling traitor. That i take exception to.

As i stated above, Trump will be president and all i can hope for is he does not turn out to be the progressive i feared him to be.

  • He is President no thanks to you.

  • TrojanMan

Until such time that Trump takes over the popular vote Hitlery still got more votes. Which means more people voted for the criminal. Its not a put down its a fact.

“responsible for any popular vote difference” Exactly how many votes would that be?

“And yes, you were wrong. Totally and irrevocably wrong.” Be careful, thus far i have only been wrong that he would lose. Before you crow too hard you might want him to pass some of his promises.

  • Tyrconnell

Because they edit to fit a narrative?

  • TrojanMan

“He is President no thanks to you”

Just when i thought we were making headway. If you have no intention on letting die then we must part ways…permanently. What say you?

  • Mr. Freemarket

Pointing out that Trump isn’t a conservative doesn’t make Hillary an acceptable alternative, since she is far less qualified to be president that President-elect Trump.

  • OK

  • TrojanMan

Ok what? Ok you will let it die like an adult or OK we must part ways?

  • Mr. Freemarket

“He will reverse Obama’s executive orders and abusive regulations, kill and replace Obamacare, preserve the second amendment, restrain global warming hysterics, and nominate conservatives to the SCOTUS. What is it you Never Trumpers don’t like about this?”

Do you know how much you sound like the Obama supporters who believed awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama was justified after the man had been in office less than a month?

Trump has promised many things. Some I agree with; some I disagree with. But we have no factual knowledge as to which promises he will keep because he isn’t in office yet, nor has he had an opportunity to act upon his promises.

We are more than willing to give President Elect Trump our support as he takes over the reigns of the presidency. And we will reserve judgement as to how successful he may be until he actually has the opportunity to govern.

  • OK, you are an ardent Never Trumper, and will never admit you were wrong about Trump winning the election and saving the Republican party from oblivion. That you almost allowed the evil corrupocrat Hillary to win the election and destroy the Republic. I think that about sums it up.

  • TrojanMan

“and will never admit you were wrong about Trump winning the election” Um are you reading impaired? I said that very thing several times IN THIS ARTICLE ALONE AND OTHERS.

“saving the Republican party from oblivion.” It is in need of oblivion.

“destroy the Republic” A thing cannot be destroyed that was already destroyed.

“I think that about sums it up.” Very well. Godspeed.

  • OK

  • True, but did you vote for him? If not, you supported Hillary, the devil we know.

  • Mr. Freemarket

My first vote was for the Great Meteor of Death. My second vote was for Evan McMullen. My third vote (and last vote) was for Donald Trump.

  • Then may you meet the Great Meteor of Death. I’m rooting for you.

  • Mr. Freemarket

So you are going to tell me that Trump is a conservative?
Next thing I know, you will be telling me he is a Christian.

  • I never said that. Next thing you know, you will be telling me that Hillary is a conservative Christian.

  • Fiberal

You know, I think I know what your problem is.

You’ve probably never had a course, training or natural intuition for estimating magnitudes.

For ex, How many neurons in the brain vs how many stars in the Universe? – adding a single-digit coefficient doesn’t make a difference in the relative magnitudes.

A slow second grader would say something like 10 and 11.*

    Okay, I got it.

I guess it just never fails to amaze me to see the lack of fundamental skills of sub-adults.

    .

    (ans. billions vs trillions)

  • TrojanMan

We are not talking about stars in the universe. We are talking about votes which can be precisely counted. If you want the illegal votes removed from Hitlerys total you must find proof of the exact number.

Ridicule me all you want but the fact remains that at present Hitlery won the popular vote, you are unable to answer a direct question, and you still have not told me what I must say to you that will make you never reply to me again.

  • MAS

Time for your milk and cookies junior…
    Bye.

  • Fiberal

    Again, you missed the point.
Look: what’s the difference between an order of magnitude and an exact number?

    .
I’m just trying to help you.

You are turning into 762×52, the old bitch hairdresser who thinks he’s a Seal.

Don’t make me humiliate you any further.

  • TrojanMan

Orders of magnitude are used to make approximate comparisons. Unfortunately vote totals are not an approximation. It is an exact number.

I understand your point. You are trying to claim Trump won the popular vote and the only reason he didn’t was due to voter fraud…. fabulous now prove it. Prove it with hard verifiable numbers. I can come up with numbers out of my ass too to push an agenda but that doesn’t cut it.

“Don’t make me humiliate you any further.” Any further? LOL

Please, humiliate me by coming up with hard verifiable numbers.

  • Fiberal

Well goodness gracious. It seems as it you are finally (Lo, these many long treks) beginning to get a glimmer.

Okay. Take these two things as axiomatic: fraud occurred in the election and vote totals are an exact number (sic).

Now that we also have the context for the different ways that the Clinton Machine would have been able to use to commit fraud in the general, and you have established a criteria for proof, we might be able to come to an understanding of terms.

So what do you mean by “exact, hard verifiable” numbers?

(Presuming we don’t have to talk about things coming out of your ass)

  • TrojanMan

“Well goodness gracious. It seems as it you are finally (Lo, these many long treks) beginning to get a glimmer.” You know you have a weak argument when you must slight someone.

“fraud occurred in the election” I am sure it did… prove it.

“criteria for proof,” Is not proof itself

Prove the exact number of illegal votes and they shall be stricken from Hitlery’s total. What about “exact number” is hard to comprehend? How many times and how many way must it be said so you will stop dodging the question? Prove to me with hard verifiable undeniable proof that Trump won the popular vote because Hitlery cheated and exactly how many of Hitlery’s votes are illegal.

You can’t… you know you can’t so you keep on slandering and dodging the question. You are quite well learned in liberal debate skills.

This has obviously run its course because you are too much of a coward to admit that at present Hitlery won the popular vote and are unable to prove otherwise.

Prove you are not a coward by answering this question and only this question. What “really stupid thing” must i say so that i am “certifiably too stupid to talk to”?

  • Fiberal

You can’t get a hard number on covert activities. Even a fool would understand that That’s why you can’t define your own terms.

You then set up an erroneous criteria demanding exactitude in approximation that eludes your proto-thinking and then youstrut around preening about just how sharp you am.

All of which you did in order to cover for the fact that you just simply didn’t understand the analysis.

Now be straight with me here; the predominate topics of discussion in your household centers around odors…

    don’t they?

  • TrojanMan

What “really stupid thing” must i say so that i am “certifiably too stupid to talk to”?

  • Fiberal

You are too stupid to talk to.

    I’m just being nice.
