Sore Winners

Unlike rioting moonbats, even some of the most diehard NeverTrumpers are willing to give Trump a chance to prove us wrong about his fitness, as he did regarding his electability. A united GOP will be more effective at overcoming resistance to the repeal of Obama’s moonbattery. Unfortunately, some of Trump’s less mature and more vindictive acolytes are making unity difficult.

For example:

Spoken like a true authoritarian, reminding NeverTrumpers of why they have found hardcore Trump cultists so alarming.

To finish making the point, let’s head straight to the bottom of the barrel by quoting degenerate statist Newt Gingrich:

“[T]he little whiny sniveling negative cowards who are Never Trumpers are beneath our paying attention to them. Let them drift away into the ashbin of history while we go ahead and work with Donald Trump, and with the House and Senate Republicans, to create a dramatically new future.”

Newt doesn’t explain how it was cowardly for people like Mike Lee to risk their careers by standing against a raging stampede in defense of principles that Gingrich himself seems barely able to comprehend.

Everyone should give Trump and his team a chance — but not with our eyes closed.

Trump cult bridgebuilders at work uniting the party.

On tips from Torcer and MAS.

Have to be somewhat surprised that D’Souza is spewing such vitriol. I’ve respected him for his high quality documentaries, but this crap is unnecessary.

I wish Trump were 1/100th the demon you neocon loons make him out to be. The truth of the matter is that your anti White treason has earned you a train ride to a delousing station and a oven. Lucky for you, he’s a better man than you war mongering crunts and you’ll be allowed to live your worthless lives in peace.

Let me give my view. Trump is a decent man – as shown by his children and his loyal friends and employees drawn from all backgrounds – he is a highly competent man who knows the value of having good people around him, and he sees through the elites who are tearing down America. He is the only man for the times. God is obviously looking after America by putting him in the right place at the right time.

You retards spent months bashing him, doing everything in your power to ensure Hillary won, and now…you want unity. This LGF impersonator Dave is praying (unlikely that he does) Trump fails, but he wants unity. We have unity, Dave. WE want our country back; WE want illegals gone, and Mexico to keep them; WE want NO muslims let in; WE want our military rebuilt; WE want the status quo done with, and the swamp drained; WE want a SCOTUS that understands the constitution. YOU were fine with Hillary winning. There is no “uniting” with the scum on YOUR side. You are out. Go away, all of you…

  • Sweep_the_leg_11590

Correct. I know that this idiot is desperate for “clicks”, but to pretend to be a patriot, and assist Hillary in her efforts? The site is garbage at this point. May as well go all in and announce your Liberal preference. Stop fighting it, it’s obvious…

  • TrojanMan

Aww look he wants to send people to death camps.

  • NotKennedy

I had hoped that we had heard the last of Gingrich. However, I can see where Gingrich and Trump would have some things in common. If you have a dog, it will probably poop in the yard. If Trump wants to drain the swamp, flush Newt, too.

  • Rotohammer

I voted for Trump, though not enthusiastically. Newt is spreading it on a little thick, considering Trump has only been sworn AT and not sworn IN. We’ve got a long way to go to have success. Trump is getting better, though. I’m hopeful.

  • Fiberal

    Absolutely right.

Now Torcer is producing all these patriotic postings in a transparent attempt to show everyone how he was conservative all along.

This, after spending hours and hours and hours of his time and effort posting anti-Trump garbage.

Conservatives don’t forget details like liberals do. Being a sock, Torcer assumes that readers here will forget his back-stabbing treachery and his de facto support for the most evil liberal ever trying to take the WH.

No Torcer; I don’t mean Trump.

  • NotKennedy

That kid deserves an Academy Award!

  • Rotohammer

I think there might be an Ecclesiastes effect with Trump – he’s experienced wealth, power, and fame, and has maybe found them to be at least hollow if not meaningless. Hillary is still chasing those things. Trump is not intimidated by those with wealth or power because he’s one of them. Trump might be genuinely interested in serving the country, in his own pompous way. We’ll see.

  • Fiberal

Gingrich was a staunch, consistent, controlled and convincing advocate for Trump.

He predicted a Trump victory all along and dared Fox News to quote him and keep the tape.

Gingrich pointed out, as has Rush, that the last thing republicans need to do is to follow down the path of the dim’s honey-coated “work together” rhetoric. This is the way republicans fall into the trap of first, compromise and then, total loss. Dimocrats have nothing; absolutely nothing to offer republicans. And if Trump allows the republican house to once again “reach across the aisle” he will lose everything.

    Once again, Gingrich is correct.

  • NotKennedy

Just wait and see what happens when he runs up against the civil service! There are some cankers that cannot be cured. It may not go so well for a guy who is accustomed to being able to manage an organizational structure.

The only guy who ever got away with firing government employees was Reagan. Bless his heart, that was the moment when I overcame being a liberal!

  • Eddie_Valiant

Have another bong hit you baboon. You’re blocked.

  • NotKennedy

There were millions of us who “bit the bullet” and voted against Hillary. The transition period is usually a lot of fun, for the winners. If Trump drains the swamp, it will have been enough.

  • TrojanMan

The cultists would disagree. Its time to punish those who dared question the god emperors ascension.

  • Artfuldgr

Regardless, the nevertrump thing was a lose lose unless Hillary won in a landslide. she wins a little all those not with the left and not nevertrump have the numbers to lay on blame, and even if trump won by a little or a lot, there would be the lack of unity and thats that. it was totally predictable and is part and parcel of the choice of being nevertrump, as there was no way to take the position and expect anything else to happen. it would be like going out in the rain and expecting to not get wet, you can not want to get wet, but if you want to go out in the rain and take up that position, then the rest of it follows and complaining about it or seeking a martyrs position for being willing to endure it is as silly as standing in the rain expecting others who didn’t or wouldn’t to see the sacrifice your making by choosing to stand in the rain.

  • calmly_observing

So it’s nice to know the #nevertrump folks admit they are sore winners. The GOP won everywhere and they still call D’Souza a “cult” member, etc. More state level positions are in the hands of the GOP. The party owns the federal government.

But mean, cultist tweets are all that matter. Waaaah.

  • KirklesWorth

And I posted this on another thread…

And here is one of the most amazing Moonbattery meltdowns over Donald Trump – actually, it is Torcer‘s (secret?) repository of over 1000 anti-Trump citations since this Moonbattery Open Thread began on January 28, 2016. Pay particular attention to the claims of Trump and the second amendment since this is his official stance.

Some of the stories posted: “Team Clinton thankful for Trump”, “DEMOCRAT PUNDIT: Hillary Clinton Is A Liar Who Is Totally Dependent Upon A Donald Trump Candidacy”, “Trump’s Insane Response to Week of Golden Opportunities”, “#Trump plays coy on whether he’d serve as president if elected”, “IT’S A TRAP! The Media Will Give Me Free Publicity”, “#TrumpWants2Lose”, etc..

  • KirklesWorth

“Spewing such vitriol”? Are you kidding? That was tame compared to the unhinged anti-Trump rantings that have infested this site (and still continue albeit neutered).

  • NotKennedy

It may be lost on D’souza but, in my estimation, conservatives were never on a reservation.

  • KirklesWorth

Oh my gosh…Dinesh D’Souza speaks like a true authoritarian…how scary! First the loser anti-Trumpers demand an olive branch from the winners and now they are hyperventilating when a republican calls out to them to get back – should he have been on his hands and knees (or just his knees)? And you got to call Newt Gingrich a degenerate statist – bonus!. The irony of the phrase “less mature and more vindictive acolytes” is just palpable. You anti-Trumpers are a trip! Doing the work of the left, like the left, for the left.

    Poor child.

  • “Sore winners” — a phrase I first discovered earlier today in Jonah Goldberg’s weekly column. I usually fall asleep reading his columns, lol, but I rather liked this week’s analysis. Well, some parts of it, at least.

Anyway. Not all avid Trump supporters are like this. I know because I am one of them. And for those who are acting a bit, eh, difficult, I am sure (or hopeful, at least) it will pass.

  • KirklesWorth

It’s an attempt to shame others when they themselves should be ashamed. The anti-Trumpers were the bridge burners. They were the deserters. They are the fringe minority. Trump supporters saved anti-Trumpers despite themselves yet they are so exceedingly arrogant and unappreciative that they demand concessions from the victors…unadulterated hubris.

Moronic. You don’t know squat. If I’d been here for the past month, I’d keep revealing your idiocy even though you foolishly blocked me. A couple of my favorites:

TrojanMan: Everyone on this site who is in Trumps colon is a troll yes.

You should modify it to say “Everyone on this site who is in the president-elect’s colon is a troll yes.”

TrojanMan: That’s too late. She was elected the moment Trump won the nomination which is why I have always told you that it does not matter who you vote for.

  • TrojanMan

Here is the text of Artcle V:

“The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.”

The states can call a convention without ANY federal involvement. Furthermore the convention of states project has been going for sometime and even held a mock convention.

  • JDHasty

And the support of the Executive Branch would have not advanced that cause???? Particularly when we have a man in the Executive that can and would be able to get past the media. Really.

I thought the sore losers in the Never Trump movement were at least cognizant that there is a political reality that you have to deal with. But, it looks like I was naive.

  • TrojanMan

“And the support of the Executive Branch would have not advanced that cause????” No, it was already underway.

“It would be improper to require the consent of the Natl. Legislature, because they may abuse their power, and refuse their consent on that very account.” “No amendments of the proper kind would ever be obtained by the people, if the Government should become oppressive.”
    George Mason

In other words the federal government will never pass amendments limiting their own power. The only way to reign in the federal government (without revolution) is for a convention of states called BY the states.

“Particularly when we have a man in the Executive that can and would be able to get past the media.” Who would that be? Trump has not said one word about a convention of states let alone the constitution itself.

  • KirklesWorth

No, what begins is the next wave of so-called “conservative” anti-Trump propaganda courtesy of the left that the losers so willfully consume.

  • KirklesWorth
  • TrojanMan

Actually Obama was the best cause of the convention of states as it was his actions that made it ever more necessary. Therefore the worst can be the best agents of change.

  • TrojanMan

Also go through Amendments 11-27 and ask yourself which one if any puts limits on the federal government. The answer is none. Congress will NEVER pass amendments limiting their power and they would interfere in anyway possible from the states doing so.

  • JDHasty

Underway, but needed a front man with gravitas. All you have left is Mark Levin. Who I have listened to for years because he has a lot of good info and insight… but a man I would consider an insufferable dinner guest.

Trump won for one reason: he has his finger on the pulse of those who made his reality show a hit… middle America.

And regardless of his personal politics, the man has a history of delivering what his customers want.

That is because he LISTENS to them and delivers what they have said they want, not what he thinks what he thinks they want.

I was very successful in retail and not because I “knew,” better than them, what my customers want. I did not GAS about what I thought I thought they wanted, I put what they said they wanted on the shelf.

Comprehenndo, me amigo? I doubt it, but then again that is why over 90% of new retail businesses don’t last two years.

  • JDHasty

I will go even further and say that I never listened to retail marketing resources that “were to be followed.” I listened to my customers and told the gurus to go get fucked. In their ear!

I sold guns and shooting supplies and I left work and sat around the table at gun clubs and said: You tell me what will get you to come back into my store, which was in bankruptcy and on COD, with all our accounts.

And they gave me a chance because thy recognized that Hastys hate to loose. The very thought is hateful to a Hasty.

Donald Trump hates to loose and wants to go down with middle America as one of the Greatest Presidents ever. I guarantee you that.

And, he among every candidate, understands how to achieve that goal… shut the fuck up and listen to people whose goal is to take money out of their pocket and put it in your register.

  • TrojanMan

“Comprehenndo, me amigo? I doubt it”
“shut the fuck up and listen”

Well well another nasty trump troll. I gave you no cause to be a jerk. No point in further conversation.

Let me know how many times Trump even says the words constitution or convention of states in the years to come. Bye

  • JDHasty

Now, here is where Donald Trump will triumph: He couldn’t give a shit about a man who lost and laughed about it. He wants middle America to see him as the best President ever.

Lebron James can go fuck a basketball in his world. The media can blow it out their ass for the next five decades as they point to what the eggheads say, this man knows how to “make bank” and that is done by delivering what middle America wants.

  • JDHasty

You are a fool. You are trying to say that middle America should want what YOU see as best for them. You can claim to be a capitalist, but you don’t understand capitalism works.

Capitalism is about satisfying customers and you think that you are better suited to decide what middle America wants than the invisible hand.

And unfortunately, for your side, Donald Trump is so much better at reading middle America than you clowns are that it isn’t even a close contest.

  • CRC60

Do you think the Trumpidians understand it is the NeverTrumpers (plus some union workers) that ultimately helped drag Trump across the finish line?

  • TrojanMan

Hey Trumpians, a simple question: Will you call out Trump when he advocates or takes liberal positions or will you excuse such? Prove to us all you are not just butt sniffers because he will at some point or frequently take such positions.

I will give credit WHEN and WHERE credit is due. Are you able to give condemnation when and where it is due? Or do you have a Trump can do no wrong attitude as i suspect you guys have?

  • JDHasty

Let me know how your first choice could have neutralized the media and won and we can discuss it.

Trump wasn’t my first choice going into the primaries. But I am astute enough to see where this campaign would be fought. And there was only one Republican primary candidate that was up to the task. And you wanted it all, instead of being content with winning this election and building on it.

You are playing the short game and I am playing the long game. And Donald Trump’s two sons are my long game.

These two kids grew up within the belly of the beast, and like ol’ JDHasty went their own way. They are rock solid Constitutional conservatives and proudly so. And, ya’ know what? They had the luxury of being able to sit back and enjoy what their father provided in the way of not having anything else to think about other than politics. And they are rock solid as any man can be regarding where our country came from and how to preserve it.

Fuck me Kate! Here are tw kids who have had the luxury of sitting around thinking about bullshit and they “get it.”

I am not in any way about a political dynasty, but where have you seen two young men go against the zeitgeist and emerge so convinced that they have considered every option and been so convinced that America, as the founders created her, is the last, best hope on earth?

For God’s sake…play the long game and let’s get this party started.

  • Torcer

It’s Time For Trump To Renounce the ‘Alt-Right’
If Donald Trump really means what he said in his victory speech, that “it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division; have to get together.” If he really wants Republicans, Democrats and independents to “come together as one united people,” he needs to recognize one sad reality.
    [..]
President Obama sat under a racist pastor for 20 years, and invited known race-baiters like Al Sharpton to the White House on many occasions. But he abandoned Jeremiah Wright once he became president. Obama, in his public comments, does not stand up and concur with the methods used by Black Lives Matter and other extremist racist groups.

Obama did much to create this witches brew of racial division in the last eight years, and now if Trump really wants to be a healer, he has to take the step of renouncing the “alt-right.”

Trump should publicly and unequivocally say that racism is not welcome in the America he wants to govern and lead. Otherwise, this will not get better. It will in fact get much, much worse.

It would seem like one cannot criticize the man without the false charge of supporting the national socialist left being hurled.

Yeah, your definition of courage is weaker than these Trump bashing comments. Now you’re bashing him cause he won and won’t welcome the backstabbers and backbiters who tried to get everyone to not support him? What’s so courageous about being a stooge of the corrupt system and going along with the media? You’re like the squishy weasel who squeals to the teacher about anyone who doesn’t go along. Your slippery fake conservatism that has no real basis in fact and just leads to getting the Left everything it wants even when they’re in the minority is the reason Trump squashed all the insiders and wound up kicking the Witch down the stairs to irrelevancy. All your fake Bushes and lame Cubans did squat to really help. Those Cubans who remember fleeing Castro and Crazy trigger happy Che did more by voting than those fake conjob congressdudes did. Don’t even start with the hold Trump to his promises. None of you said anything about the “compassionate conservatism” of Bush Lite and his Brand X Marxist spending sprees.

Apparently you are unfamiliar with many of us here who were more than critical of Bush, particularly with regards to Medicare Part D, the Patriot Act (and the resulting NSA Data Collection Center), as well as his unconstitutional diversion of TARP funds to bail out the auto companies.

Many of us have been affiliated with the TEA Party and, as a result, were despised by both democrats and republicans.

Unlike some, I expect those whom I vote for to keep the promises they have made. I expect no less from President-elect Trump. So far, it doesn’t look like a banner start.

  • J.j. Cintia

Listen man, if you’re TEA party you’re not a “conservative”. A “conservative” would never stand against government programs, just increasing taxes on the rich and not letting Africa move into your hometown.

  • Mr. Freemarket

I’m curious..how do you define “conservative?”

  • J.j. Cintia

Have you ever been on a snipe hunt? Its like a snipe.

  • Mr. Freemarket

Just as I thought. You are not a serious thinker.

  • J.j. Cintia

I guess you must not watch what goes on in the media circus? These “conservatives” have no real issues in common with the TEA Party. They’ve been trying to dump you nearly as hard as they tried to dump Trump. They had no problem with “Maverick” McCain when he attacked his VP Sarah Palin for questioning Obama’s patriotism. And when Romney was asking to meet Obama they enthusiastically supported him. Even though his Romneycare was a model for OBAMAcare the major issue in the campaign. Its been like that for awhile. When Bubba Clinton was wounded and the election outlook for him was bad, they all pushed old man Dole, who was so old and weak, he ended up as the spokesman for Viagra.

  • Mr. Freemarket

I guess I make a distinction between what one says they are versus what one actually is. Members of the GOP make a bunch of promises every time it is election time, forgetting those promises just as soon as the ballots are cast. I would never make the mistake of calling them “conservatives.” They may be “republicans” but they are not conservatives.

  • NotKennedy

Has Princess Caroline approved of that notion? There ARE priorities and the Kennedys do not deal well with rejection.

  • FrozenPatriot

I submit that the benefit of government action must also exceed the margin of violence required to first obtain the money by force or threat thereof, which it almost never does. Reading the comments from the sore winners around here, it appears they no longer care as long as their wing of the big government uniparty is having a turn controlling the ever incrementing levers of party. Limitations on government go right out the window when their hero becomes the supreme ruler…

  • bobdog19006

Will I call out Trump when he advocates liberal positions? Probably, but not necessarily. In the unlikely event they make a lick of sense, maybe not.

But I’ll holler like crazy if he bases his administration on getting even with liberals or acting solely for the benefit of partisan Republicans. Our current president never did understand the difference between being a partisan Democrat and being president. That’s why Obama was such an abysmal failure.

This country has been running on crackpot partisan rule for far too long. That’s why Trump was elected in the first place. We’re tired of being bossed around by self-serving, corrupt party hacks.

40 years of control and 27 years of control lost to the dems by you guys and you have nothing to say… under your watch we got Obama, Obama care, the Clinton, and on and on and on… you did so badly, the people turned to trump rather than anyone you would put up to lose again.

get a grip… you have no party, you have no place, neither side wants nevertrumpers … you made yourself irrelevant by being the Pharisees of the party…

  • Artfuldgr

no one pushed for Obama to get it… its not how that works.. in fact, it shows how ignorant a Pharisee can be… so elite and far removed and judgmental, you don’t get that the Nobel prizes are not influenced by public opinion, but now are pretty much gamed to pick Marxists and Communists to lend then cache.

  • Artfuldgr

keep listening to the same press that told you trump was losing, and Hillary was in a landslide, and the other lies…

    they punked you into irrelevancy…

we have no idea what they are referring to and you have already demonstrated that you confuse your own imagination and self internal straw men that you believe you know despite not being in the meeting, trump making no clear statement, and listening to the liberal press that lies even when telling the truth is ok…

he could have been humoring obama given his days in office and how much extra work it would be to undo crap he does before he leaves..

he could decide to keep the medicare things, and toss the rest… he may decide to do a lot, but he cant do SHIT by himself as its the house and senate that decide not trump.. so it also shows a grand ignorance of the Pharisees of how their own state works

  • Artfuldgr

sorry.. thats another of your internal beliefs that your asserting as reality… all you guys did was negate the never trumpers voting Hillary .. you did not have numbers this time to do anything meaningful except show your false colors and now want to make false claims… sorry, go to that party you guys said you were starting…

we dont have to admit to it, as there is nothing to admit…

you guys turned on your own side and now are playing games trying to be heard by people who heard you turn, heard you insult them, heard you heap derision on them and more… shall i quote things you said to your own team before you guys lost?

  • Artfuldgr

you mean congress would not do what it did to create the usa?

    .
Face it, the nevertrumpers exposed themselves for all to see what a bunch of irrelevant losers they are.
    .
Oh, but the nevertump insist they stick to their ” conservative principles.”

Yeah, but big problem with that is their “conservative principles” are causing them to be perennial losers and laughing-stocks.

  • Artfuldgr

capitalism is about persuing the happiness of others and providing what they want in exchange of something you want, usually money…

the dichotomy you see is that most people have been so selfish and so demanding and so judgemental, that they CANT make others happy… so concerned with their own happiness in selfishness, they even make demands by telling others what they want rather than provide what others want

they want others to want what they want…
they cant accept that others want other things
this is where their projection of authority comes from
despite millions of people telling them what, they still want those millions to change their minds to what they want so that they can be happy and so on.

so self centered they cant see its not about them..
[wait till someone answers and argues and it will get clearer]

  • Artfuldgr

you gave plenty of cause… you just dont see it cause you dont get its how you are.. which is ok… but given your support, pontificating, telling others what they should want, and so on.. you did give a reason for some to be snippy to you.. and rather than get it, you decide to mitigate it by labeling them as something you clearly dont like while trying to be a member.

    weird from the outside watching.

  • Artfuldgr

hillary cost hillary the election… if she did not do all those things there would be nothing to report, no comey to stand up weakly, etc.

  • Artfuldgr

the press punked them, and now thy keep coming back to the same press that got it so wrong, and lied about trump and more.. the same way that the dems useful idiots do… they cant accept that the press punked them,…so they cant abandon that crap and do anything else.

  • Artfuldgr

he had no chance of winning as he was less
known than Hillary and more extreme

  • Artfuldgr

sorry but if you want him to dismantle the dem machine then the fed has to get control of the highway system it built that made america so economically large and prosperous. russia has more natural resources, it had at one time lots more people, but it never became much of anything comparatively because it did not build a huge highway system that alowed spurs and settlement of all that area. they did not favor free movement of their people

the highway system and bridges and so forth are important, and the left for ages have been using these budgets for a pocket book, and have layered them with all manner of ways to get more out of it, and its just bad.

be careful with your assumptions as trump may be doing to the left what the left does to so many of us. the left likes to define or come up with labels that put you in a position of “how can you be against that?” – while many read about what they define the label as, which is different than what you assume hearing the label, and can be negated by being monsters for being against that, when they are actually against the definition. equal pay for equal work is a great example of that, in that its not a reiteration of the civil rights laws and eeoc stuff… what it is is trying to equate disparate jobs as equivalent. inst a secretary as important as a doctor? they should get the same pay for doing equal work, right? it would allow the state to control salaries, and be able to review them and pretty much put in a soviet style system as its end result over time “slicing the salami”.

what if Trump drains the advocacy programs who tend to vote dem to get more money for these programs in a circular vote fest? what if he takes some of that money and returns it to the infrastructure budgets? what if he actually makes a budget unlike another party?

we know nothing of the details, and i could be way off, your belief could be way off, and whether we like it or not, we have to wait to see how its leveraged and if its privatized, and if any money is being used from the state, and if that money is new money or if its taken from programs that should never have existed or are larger than they should be…

it hasn’t been a full week of his winning, and he hasnt been sworn in which wont take but a few months, and he would be wise not to telegraph his actions and give a lame duck president and people in congress a few months of doing things on the way out that are not helpful and could lock things up making things more difficult.

its been amazing me that the public wants a private view and private understanding akin to showing your cards while playing the poker hand, and then not getting how that puts their representative into a losing position. and how it also gives opposition to make up reasons that resonate with people to draw ire but have little reality to them. we got lots of oil from those countries we fight in, right?

  • Artfuldgr

Willard the NewtOh, but the nevertump insist they stick to their ” conservative principles.”

and yet, they don’t know that that is what makes saints and martyrs..
sticking to the principal of God while being tortured unto death

however, for them its more like the flagellants who thought the piety was in the flogging, which didn’t make any of them saints or martyrs (because the principals they believed in the way they did, did NOT actually represent the rest of the religion, despite how sure they were)

Speaking of irrelevant losers Fibtard, you and your unprincipled vermin winged army have demonstrated exactly who and what you are as well. Nothing but idolaters who worship a man, that is the most pathetic thing I seen yet. You scum make me sick.

  • 762×51

That imbecile is an Alex Jones follower, you can’t reason with that level of stupid, you can only water it twice a week.

  • 762×51

So to be a “conservative” you have to support a Progressive. I don’t think you understand what any of these terms mean. Typical low information Trumpanzee.

  • 762×51

You didn’t need the word serious in that last sentence.

  • 762×51

Is that what Alex Jones told you to believe? LMAO!!

  • 762×51

You mean like backing off the “repeal and replace” Obamacare promise or backing off the Muslim ban promise or backing off the build a wall promise? They have all been backed off of in the last 72 hours. This is going to be even more fun than I thought.

But to answer your question, the Trumpanzees are Progressive ideologues, essentially groupies who cannot and will not acknowledge any failure on the part of their boy. Just like the Obama Zombies have never acknowledged any of his massive failures, so it will be with the Trumpanzee vermin.

  • 762×51

LMAO, looking in the mirror were you, Trumpanzee scum? Pettiness? Yep, that’s you rodents all the way around.

  • 762×51

Umm, that was the Continental Congress, not the Congress of the United States. ROTFLMAO!! That CONTINENTAL CONGRESS created the country AND the Congress of the United States. With your understanding of history, it’s no wonder you backed a fascist Progressive.

The stench of jerkleTwerp returns, what a shame. I had hoped you were hit by a bus or something, no such luck.

Another day of your cowardice has dawned, smug, sanctimonious and as irrelevant as ever, I see. Ah well, each day brings us closer to your death. The world will be a better place once you are gone, maybe tomorrow, if we are lucky.

Trying to manage a “big tent” party is like herding cats. The democrats have the advantage through their efficient use of identity politics. We will never have 100% of people onboard due to conflicts between single issue groups.

I think we actually did pretty well, considering the loyalty of a large segment of establishment republicans.

We should be looking forward and trying to calm jittery nerves. This is an opportunity to grow the party to be a more formidable force. We don’t need to start banishing people into the wilderness the way that Rove and the rest have done.

THE MOST REFRESHING QUOTE ON THIS SITE IN A YEAR.
    .
Dave Blount: “Everyone should give Trump and his team a chance — but not with our eyes closed…”
    .
That’s a game changer. What it does NOT mean is that Trump cannot be criticized, even severely, or that his feet should not be held closely to the fire, or if he makes mistakes they should be duly noted, or if Trump doesn’t fulfill his promises he should be loudly condemned and castigated.
    .
If Trump is a liar and fake then I’ll take to the streets to call for his impeachment and join hand-in-hand with the #NeverTrumpers, but it is silly conjecture to simply assume he’s a loser when he hasn’t served one second and hasn’t made one executive decision.
    .
I didn’t vote for Trump as a candidate and never really liked the guy, but I had to consider the evil option during the general. At this point I’m feeling a breath of fresh air that it wasn’t Hillary, but Trump needs to follow through or face dire consequences. Picking a person or two from the political spectrum (call it the establishment if you want) isn’t as important as ‘results,’ and I like his first choice in diminishing Christie and putting Pence in charge of the transition. If this is a harbinger then I’m looking forward with hope.

TrojanMan: “live on your knees?” He lives on his knees now sucking the orange cock.

TrojanMan: You claim to want to debate but you are really just a condescending bunghole troll. Its my fault for feeding your trolling. I will refrain from doing so.

I’ve backed off a bit and IMHO it wouldn’t hurt if you waited a bit longer to criticize Dave any further. Dave and TrojanMan and others have put their heart and soul in defeating Trump and no one has been more critical of them than I have. But both have stated they are open to giving Trump some benefit of the doubt – a truly tough decision for both of them – but that doesn’t mean they don’t still have their God-given right to criticize Trump, to point out his errors, and to challenge him vehemently if they feel he goes off track. I fully support their right to do so.
    .
Both of them are patriots who believe caution is the better part of valor and they now have my respect.
    .
We all need to give Trump the benefit of the doubt , but as Dave says, “Not with our eyes closed.” We might want to start giving Dave and others the benefit of the doubt also, and let time and events take their course, and watch as the cards play out as they may. Let’s all keep the faith.

Trump is having to swim upstream when he should be allowed to go with the flow, at least until he hits deep water.
    .
Trump ran as an outsider against the establishment – but what is the establishment? Ironically many people at MB wanted the outsider but would never be comfortable with outsider ‘picks’ who know nothing about world events or how DC has been or could be run, Imagine picking a business partner who majored in finance to run the Department of Defense, or a colleague well-versed in trade to be Attorney General?
    .
By necessity Trump has to pick the most knowledgeable and capable and that can only come from experience and those people are in politics. But according to some of the perceptive-challenged here at MB, any one in politics is ‘establishment’ and that is an automatic disqualification. Go figure.
    .

  • KirklesWorth

Ironic accusing others of being a “follower” coming from Torcer’s lap dog. And calling somebody else stupid when you completely failed in your anti-Trump cascade is laughable. You didn’t get your Hillary, you didn’t get your “progressive”-killing civil war, and Trump won despite your best efforts makes it laughable that you would vomit any more ridiculous comments.

  • TrojanMan

“The stench of jerkleTwerp returns” Do you really think that the King Troll would have abandon his post?

  • KirklesWorth

That’s because they are hypocrites – they slam the GOP as RINOs yet wanted Ted Cruz to be their messiah who burned bridges and alienated colleagues to the point that he’d have no support for anything. They are the untopians of the right expecting the country to toe the conservative line even though half the country is at the opposite end of the political spectrum. Their all-or-nothing approach to everything gets them nothing every time, and it is up to us pragmatic conservatives to save them from themselves (which we just did).

    Those were statements from him.

Criticism is a way trying to influence what he may do – such as the trial balloon he floated a while back on immigration.

    Resistance is Not Futile
The Borg are the best villain to come out of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Even people that didn’t watch the show know the name. The Borg assimilate the uniqueness of others into their collective, in order to achieve their own view of perfection. Resistance is futile, they say.
    [..]
I remember, back in the days of George W. Bush, when RedState would criticize him we got a lot of criticism in the comments and diaries and by email. When Erick and Leon went on offense over Harriet Miers, there were those who attacked them as betrayers of the party, as enablers of the Democrats and more. I’ll never forget the best defense I saw, other than forgetting who said it. They said, “if we don’t tell him no, then how does he know he’s wrong?”

It sounds arrogant, but this is what activism and blogging are all about. It’s the reason we and tea partiers and voters brag about “primarying” somebody. The simple idea is that you hold a politician accountable so that they behave as they ought to. If you give them license to run roughshod, they will. They need someone telling them “NO.”

Trump must be told no. Without those who hold him accountable for his many left turns, how much more “progressive” would he be right now? With nothing but a chorus of “yes” no matter what, he, like a lot of politicians, would take the wrong roads.

Resistance, you see, is in no way futile. In fact it can be quite productive.

    Resistance is Not Futile
I have written before about the “NEVER Never Trump” folks. They are the anti-never Trumps. They seem to exist solely to attack other Republicans who fail to endorse or otherwise support Donald Trump. They punish the ones who won’t assimilate. The ways in which this unhealthy obsession is antithetical to treasured American and conservative principles are as myriad as the ways that Trump himself is antithetical to the same, but what we often fail to mention is how utterly short-sighted they are.

I remember, back in the days of George W. Bush, when RedState would criticize him we got a lot of criticism in the comments and diaries and by email. Newt Gingrich: The Phony Rightwing..

    1. YEA to the creation of the Department of Education, which is unconstitutional
(William Z. Foster called for a federal Department of Education in his book,
“Towards Soviet America.”) Studies were to be cleansed of religious, patriotic
and other features of the ‘bourgeois’ ideology. Students were to be taught basis
of Marxian dialectical materialism, inter nationalism and general ethics of the
new Socialist Society. See any articles by
    Charlotte Iserbyt.

    2. YEA to designating 68 million acres as Federal protected wilderness. Our constitution doesn’t call for any land “control,” but the communist manifesto calls for all
abolition of property and land and application of all rents of land to public purposes. Federal Land grabs today are huge percentages of the 13 western states that are now federally owned.

    Note: The communist manifesto wants:

    1. Land controls
    2. Progressive Income Tax
    3. Termination of Inheritance
    4. Central Bank which is the Federal Reserve
    5. Control of Education In 1994 Newt voted:
    1. YEA to the National Endowment for the Arts
    2. YEA for 1.2 billion for UN peacekeeping
    3. YEA for the presidential line item veto
    4. YEA for 13 billion in foreign aid
    5. YEA for 166 million more for the IRS
    6. Led Congress into GATT with fellow CFR member Bill
Clinton and then stated that it was a very big transfer of power. It was,
because it overrode Article 1, Section 8 of the constitution. As well, GATT
reduces the amount of money we can save for pensions. He jawed with President
Clinton in NH that he was a huge fan of FDR and Woodrow Wilson, two of the most
despised early communist leaning presidents. Remember Wilson gave us both the
federal reserve and the 16th amendment, income tax.

    He also voted:

    1. China as Most Favored Nation for trade
    2. Voted to supply funds to subsidize trade with the Soviets.
    3. Voted to transfer 2.2 million acres in Idaho to Wilderness status.
    4. Voted for federal funding loan guarantees for greater trade with Red China.
    5. Voted for taxpayer funds being available to foreign governments through export/import banks.
    6. Is pro amnesty – Joe Galloway wrote in December 2010 that both Newt and Jeb
Bush were pro-amnesty. Gingrich stated, “We are not going to deport 11 million
immigrants.” How about 40 million Newt…send them home, they’re an invasion!
    7. Is pro foreign aid. In 1995 he voted for 31.8 billion in foreign aid, but wouldn’t vote to cut foreign aid by a measly 1%.Newt also backed a strong central government, strong environmental laws, national service programs, the United Nations Goals 2000 (which many Republicans voted for), federal financing of local police, and UN peacekeeping missions for our military.
    8. Gingrich is pro-Obamacare and even advocated it in the 90s on Meet the Press, and recently:
    9. He did a Global Warming ad with Nancy Pelosi that is coming back to haunt him, but in reality, he is a big environmentalist.
    10. Is pro-Gun Control – Newt is currently circulating a letter advertising a DVD called: “America at Risk” for which you may obtain a copy if you send him $35.00 or more. On page 3 of his six-page letter he says: “Today the choice is yours: You can either sit back and allow Barack Obama and the liberal elite to disarm our country, leaving us defenseless against enemies who explicitly desire to erase America from existence.”

Yet, if you check on the voting list of those who voted “yea” on Public
Law 101-216 in 1989 (an update to the General and Complete Disarmament Law,
Public Law 87-297) you will find that Newt Gingrich voted in favor of section 2
of this disarmament bill which reads:

“(2) as defined in this Act, the terms ‘arms control’ and ‘disarmament’ mean ‘the
identification, verification, inspection, limitation, control, reduction, or
elimination, of armed forces and armaments of all kinds under international
agreement to establish an effective system of international

Should we trust a man who professes to be so concerned with our security and right to have armed forces, who also votes to give them away to the United Nations for a world
army? The last thing we need is someone who professes to protect us, while at the same time, is planning to sell us out! See Bernadine Smith’s website for countless documents.

Pardon us if we jumped to that conclusion based upon comments like these:

Mr. Freemarket > KirklesWorth: Lemme see if I understand….Hillary is for more big government. Johnson is for more big government. Trump is for more big government.

Mr. Freemarket > KirklesWorth: I can find numerous examples of Trump favoring big government.

Mr. Freemarket > KirklesWorth: I am not an expert on state campaign finance laws. Trump openly admits that he bought political influence through campaign donations. Bill and Hillory Clinton showed up at his wedding because of donations he made. There was a day when making such contributions would be considered and prosecuted as bribery.

KirklesWorth: What “Trumpist” do you know who supports Trump shooting someone on 5th Avenue?

    Mr. Freemarket: Donald Trump

Mr. Freemarket > KirklesWorth: We had a number of quality candidates this year. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz were to them. But the trumpists couldn’t figure out what it means to be a conservative.

  • Mr. Freemarket

Isn’t it interesting that the electric grid was built without government/taxpayer funds?
For the most part, roads, highways, and bridges are built with state and local funding. State and local government are in a far better position to know what improvements are needed and how money should be spent than the Federal government.

Want to build a wall or combat cyber attacks using Federal money? Fine with me. Just know that all defense spending, whether for a wall or to defeat foreign enemies, is not money spent “productively.” There is no financial return on that investment. It is like a business spending money on a new lock for their front door; they may have to spend the money, but it isn’t going to produce a return like spending that same money on a new CNC machine.

  • KirklesWorth

It sounds similar to Reagan’s eleventh commandment – and anti-Trumpers disregarded both.

  • Mr. Freemarket

Apparently you don’t make a distinction between someone who reluctantly supported Trump and someone who declared they would never, ever, under any conditions, vote for Trump.

  • Mr. Freemarket

    Am I a “grammar Nazi?”

Not most of the time; my wife taught linguistics at a local university. I just embrace the concept that people should speak and write correct English. Sloppy English often goes along with sloppy thinking.

  • Mr. Freemarket

So the message behind my comment eluded you?

  • KirklesWorth

Touché. I think you answered your own question.

  • 762×51

LMAO, riiiight jerkleTwerp. It still hasn’t started yet but if you tried following current events, you might see the beginnings of it. Of course, your limited intellect won’t allow you to retain enough data to connect the dots, but some glimmer might get through to that tiny, sodden little mind you are forced to live with.

Make no mistake, you proggie scum are still on the menu, feathers and all, chicken squat, ROTFLMAO!

  • KirklesWorth

Sure I can. I didn’t call you anything. Don’t put words in my mouth (or in this case, thoughts in my head) – I just asked you to pardon us if we jumped to that conclusion.

  • KirklesWorth

    Nope.

  • Mr. Freemarket

And now you see why we should be reluctant to jump to conclusions.

  • 762×51

Ever the fascist, eh jerkleTwerp? Can’t wait to impose your bile on everyone else. We all have to follow tRump and SS-Rottenführer jerkleTwerp or suffer the consequences. Lock goose step just like a good little Nazi Progressive.

Well I will not comply, now, what are you going to do about it, twerp?

  • Mr. Freemarket

I’ll bet you can’t restate my message in other, possibly more understandable terms.

  • KirklesWorth

Such assurance! Are you out in Portland killing progressives now that are starting your civil war? Where do you find the time to do all of your patriotism? It’s wonderful that you can continually be so wrong and yet so condescending – good for you!

  • 762×51

LMAO, jerkleTwerp is a legend in his own mind, don’t you know? Look back a day or so where he is bragging about how he “schooled” all of us, ROTFLMAO. What a maroon.

  • 762×51

It has no idea and stop using big words like define and curious, they just confuse its small mind. Remember, it is basically a house plant with internet access.

    .
I grew up in a city whose newspaper had at the top of it’s editorial page, “I may disagree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it” – that’s why I was in the Army and was a cop and worked on three Top Secret Air Force bases, to do my part to protect our liberties. I have an inherent respect for other people’s opinions.
    .
Having said that, I felt the opinions on this site went overboard in criticizing Trump while at the same time denigrating other people’s right to have their own opinion, and I got in the mix and said so.
    .
I have a truce with most of my former adversaries only because they have individually said or inferred they would at least give Trump the benefit of the doubt. For all the work they put in to bash Trump, it takes a lot of courage for them to step back and at least give in a notch.
    .
I respect that and honor that, BUT it doesn’t mean my opinions are their opinions and that I don’t vehemently disagree with some of their assessments. They still have their right to their opinion and even to criticize Trump – and in the past Trump has given them pause – so they are wary. I personally believe they are wrong about Trump and I see very positive movement on his part.
    .
I can forgive some of their criticisms of Trump as long as they are civil, knowing deep down they are giving him the benefit of the doubt – even if in their own way.
    .
I don’t rule the roost anywhere and this is just my opinion. 762xFoulMouth on the other hand, will never get my blessing even if he went back on his meds and kissed Trumps feet. I have my limits.

  • 762×51

LMAO!!!!! Oh noooooo, a muuuuch better definition is a dirtbag who supports a Progressive candidate just because he repackaged him self and slapped an R next to his name.

Your boy is already back pedaling on his “promises”. LMAO!!!!!

  • KirklesWorth

I’m not here to perform your little tasks. Since the many are the Trump supporters, why don’t you do the lesser of the work and get the anti-Trumpers losers to coalesce with the Trump supporting winners into the one.

  • Mr. Freemarket

The simple truth is that Trump supporters claimed that this would a landslide election for Trump; that he wouldn’t actually need the support of conservatives. Some even claimed he would win New York…..

In the end, Trump really did need every vote; he basically squeaked by. I, for one, am glad that he defeated Hillary, but I don’t see his election as a monumental mandate.

Now is a time for rebuilding. A time to reach out to those with differing opinions. A time for unification.

I hope that Trump will turn out to be a great president. He will certainly need all the help he can get. Trump supporters could do our new president a great favor by reaching out to others that they have differed with in the past, as opposed to further alienating them.

  • KirklesWorth

The laughing loser-Hillary-helping anti-Trump “progressive”-killing so-called civil war starter thinks everybody else is the progressive while it spouts things like the left, by the left, and for the left. Ironic.

  • KirklesWorth

Because that is what you did and got burned for it?

  • Mr. Freemarket

    1. I haven’t checked, but I don’t believe that Trump won 50% of the vote in many places. Therefore, the actual majority supported someone other than Trump.
    2. No one likes sore losers. No one likes sore winners. You get to decide whether you will further distance yourself from those who have disagreed with you, or whether you will try and find common ground.

  • KirklesWorth

Nice spin. Actually, the anti-Trump supporters stated Trump couldn’t possibly win and the Trump supporters demonstrated that Trump could win without the deserters.

  • 762×51

ROTFLMAO!!! jerkles, you have become so comfortable with deceit that you can’t even tell reality anymore.

I NEVER supported a Progressive, jackass, that was you douchebags. I have NEVER used Progressive talking points, that was you douchebags. I NEVER attacked Conservatives, that was you Progressive candidate supporting Progressive douchebags. I never kill anyone based on my feelings. I close with, engage and destroy the enemies of the United States, that would be you Progressive douchebags, in close combat because that is what I am trained to do.

But then, a maggot like you will never understand that, you can’t.

  • KirklesWorth

Oh yes, I’m a fascist! Bow to my will! I made Trump win! Why do you continue to say such demonstrably stupid things is beyond me.

  • 762×51

LMAO, that tiny little progtard mind just can’t grasp how a real Conservative operates, hilarious. Torcer does what he does and I do what I do. He provides large quantities of data and analysis which you cannot or will not absorb and I pound on you turd eaters relentlessly like the cockroaches you are. I think Torcer believes he can persuade you all to return to reality, I know you vermin are nothing but targets awaiting engagement. We don’t ‘coordinate’ in any way shape or form, imbecile.

PROGRESSIVES, on the other hand, receive their marching orders daily are told what to think, what to say, how to say it, etc. None of you can think for yourselves, like we can, which prevents you from ever understanding us. The lag in processing a response and circulating the uniform answer is simply too great. Laughing at you is just a way to kill time until this party gets started.

  • Mr. Freemarket

How many “Trump deserters” actually stayed home?

  • 762×51

Always, jerkleTwerp has no means by which to grasp what you are saying as it must wait for the central control to process a thought and download it to its speech center. Progressives ALWAYS group think everything which is why they demand 100% compliance with their cult. It is why identity politics works so well for Progressives, they cannot think for themselves so they allow themselves to be placed in convenient receptacles which are then programmed with uniform thoughts and words appropriate to that drone units place in the collective. Compare that to the bile regurgitated here by the Trumpanzee vermin and you will see the resemblance.

  • KirklesWorth

Did you support the progressive to defeat Trump? Yep.
Do you spew progressive talking points? Yep.
Do you attack conservatives incessantly? Yep.
Do you want to kill others sole based on your “feelings”? Yep.

If you didn’t support Hillary, who did you support?

“I have NEVER used Progressive talking points” – liar:

762×51: RIIIIIGHT Saul, I’M fomenting it by forcing you Trumpanzee vermin to come here everyday and spread your vile rhetoric. You are a f__king imbecile. Go f__k yourself.

“that was you douchebags” – liar. Prove it.

“I NEVER attacked Conservatives” – liar. I am a conservative.

“you Progressive candidate supporting Progressive douchebags” – liar. You don’t tell me what I am – you are too stupid to even try.

“I never kill anyone based on my feelings.” – don’t lie by misquoting me – I said “You want to kill others based solely on your “feelings”

762×51: Fascists, Progressive, hajji, it makes no difference, are for killing, there is no other use for you.

“I close with, engage and destroy the enemies of the United States, that would be you Progressive douchebags, in close combat because that is what I am trained to do.” – impressive, even though you are too stupid to identify a progressive even if they handed you their voting record.

“But then, a maggot like you will never understand that, you can’t.” – At least this “maggot” isn’t an ignorant loser who wanted Hillary to win to start its “progressive”-killing civil war.

  • KirklesWorth

The ones that stayed home are the Trump deserters. Duh.

  • 762×51

    Oh, never mind then.

  • KirklesWorth

Only a moron would call a conservative a “progtard” – and for that matter, call itself a “conservative” when it is a fascist and a progressive.

Funny how you denigrate you perceive individuals acting as a group under orders and yet claim that you so-called “conservative” anti-Trumpers act independently. Just goes to show how inept your observations are.

Nobody tells me what to do – especially a Hillary-helping anti-Trump wannabe “progressive”-killing civil war loser.

I know. He also called on everyone to go out and shoot a liberal. I called him on that and his comment was deleted. I have no idea if it was deleted because I said something or if it was simply deleted because of its gross negligence, but he blames me for him being deleted. People have been banned from this website for considerably less. The sad thing is if you go some places to review this site, his vulgarity and violence are what people say you can expect when you visit here – and how can we deny that when he is still allowed to post here. He’s a cretin who gives this site a bad name – NONE of the other people we may heartily disagree with deserve a bad – he certainly does.

  • KirklesWorth

I’m not interested in who considers who a “sore” anything – that sounds like progressive shaming. The losers don’t make demands of the victors. “Sore winners” is an excuse for losers not to humble themselves. Trump supporters were called sore losers weeks before the election started.

  • KirklesWorth

Hey, you-who-gets-everything-wrong – who would believe anything you would say? You believed your left-wing masters that Hillary would win and you would get your “progressive”-killing civil war. Poor baby. On top of that, you have no honor or integrity – but feel free if you want to keep telling people stuff so they know the that the exact opposite is the truth. Oh yes, I forgot to compliment you are your exquisite progressive tactics – Alinsky would be proud.

IMHO states don’t have the money nor commitment to take on a task this large, and when we realize the government just took in more revenue than ever, but still ran up the deficit, there’s obviously pork funds available.
    .
If we don’t give our enemies 1.5 billion dollars to expedite our demise, or fund the America hating UN, or pay for gender studies in Africa, and If we halt ludicrous government spending like studies to determine why lesbians are generally overweight or subsidies to support the failing solar industry, and we slash entitlements to say, 3rd world illegal refugees and their five wives and 25 children at $7000 a head, maybe we can begin to get a handle on how we might finance a project this massive.

How many legs does a dog have,
if you count its tail as a leg?
The answer: Four. Calling a tail a leg does not make it so.

  • KirklesWorth

Who listens to an imbecile who is always wrong like you? You were wrong about your “progressive”-killing civil war. You can’t identify a progressive even when you are trying to get her to win. You don’t even have the brains not to say stupid things.

The laughing liberal loser amuses himself with the most inane regurgitations unworthy of an elementary school bully. But seriously, if you want a good laugh, read this:

762×51: Not only is tRump a surefire loser but he will also cause the loss of the Senate and possibly even the House. The Trumpanzee Progressives have done what they set out to do, elect Hillary Clinton.

  • MarkInKansas

I gave money to the campaign of Ted Cruz because he espoused conservative principles, i.e. delineated powers of a Federal Government noted in a Constitution, interpretation based on an understanding of the words at the time they were written. Ted Cruz was not successful in his attempt to be the Republican nominee for President.

The time came when there were only two viable candidates for President of The United States. Only two. Gary Johnson was not viable. Jill Stein was not viable. Evan McMullin was not viable. There were only two remaining viable candidates.

When that point arrived, many of the #nevertrumpers were unable to discern the significance of allowing a Hillary Clinton to capture the White House versus a Donald Trump capturing the White House.

The #Nevertrumpers may bask in their principled refusal to vote for the man who kept Hillary Clinton from becoming President. I have no respect for the holdouts who kept to their principled positions once there were only two viable candidates remaining. No respect at all.
