George Orwell was right when he said,
We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.
Unfortunately, he was also right when he said,
The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it.
This spells big trouble for Steve King (R-IA), who may have crippled his congressional career by stating something impossible to deny:
Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies. https://t.co/4nxLipafWO

King’s tweet was in response to this one:

Kudos to King for standing up for Western Civilization. Even if few have the spine to say it, everyone who has spent more than a minute thinking about it understands that a society cannot be sustained by importing massive numbers of foreigners from an alien civilization rather than having babies of its own. This is especially obvious when that alien civilization has been vehemently hostile for 1,400 years, and the foreigners are ostentatiously uninterested in assimilation.
Just because David Duke agrees with him does not mean he is wrong. King is in for a storm, and deserves every patriot’s support.
But he won’t get any from Evan McMullin:

When it comes to nauseatingly pious devotion to moonbattery, the Democrats face a daunting challenge if they are to outdo this former Chief Policy Director for the House Republican Conference.
