The Dumbest Thing I’ve Seen All Day

Anyone with a background in early childhood education want to explain to constitutional scholar Keith Olbermann of “the Resistance” how our system of government works?

Someone’s tinfoil hat is two sizes too small, preventing oxygen from reaching the brain.

Via Twitchy, on a tip from Torcer.

  • Just wanted to say that I think this new “The Dumbest Thing I’ve Seen All Day” regular feature you’re running is great – with one observation: There are so MANY dumb things the moonbats say and do EVERY DAY that I can’t imagine what criteria you use to pick the winner. Whatever it is, it’s working, more or less, because you do seem to find some pretty dumb stuff.

  • I guess he is completely ignorant about the recent historical example of what happens. Nixon out, Ford in. Even for those who it is before their time know this – unless, of course, they’re moonbats, apparently.

There is nothing in the Constitution that ALLOWS a new election and in fact there is something that precludes it.

I’d recommend to him he read the Constitution, particularly Article 2 Clause 6, but others as well, if he wants to stop making it clear how ignorant and, frankly, stupid, he is. He might also want to read the 25th Amendment, among other things. Presidential Succession Act of 1947… you know, LAWS? Things liberal moonbats don’t generally care about unless it suits them!

One of the most brilliant things Obama did was he made sure that everyone in the line of succession under him was completely incompetent and unfit to take on the office of the President… at least until the time the Republicans regained the House… but you can argue the speaker they chose at that point still was not fit for the office as well!

You could have stopped after your sixth word – no amount of explaining or attempts to get the snowflakes to self educate will ever come to fruition.

  • True… for instance, one once challenged me to explain why I didn’t believe in AGW and so I started to explain it in simple enough terms so even he could get it… and his retort was to interrupt me repeatedly and simply say, “But what do the smart people say” – basically an appeal to authority because he knew I was actually making sense and so had to stop or his whole world view could be threatened.

I asked him to define “smart people” and his reply was “the IPCC and Climate Scientists”, so I showed him this:

    SURFACE WARMING SLOWDOWN / HIATUS

… the rate of warming over the past 15 years (1998–2012; 0.05 [–0.05 to 0.15] °C per decade) … is smaller than the rate calculated since 1951 (1951–2012; 0.12 [0.08 to 0.14] °C per decade).

SOURCE: https://www.ipcc.ch/pdf/assessment-report/ar5/syr/SYR_AR5_FINAL_full.pdf (page 2, bottom, is where it starts)

It has been claimed that the early-2000s global warming slowdown characterized by a reduced rate of global surface warming, has been overstated, lacks sound scientific basis, or is unsupported by observations. The evidence presented here contradicts these claims. A large body of scientific evidence — amassed before and since the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change indicates that the surface warming slowdown, also sometimes referred to in the literature as the hiatus, was due to the combined effects of internal decadal variability and natural forcing.

He went back to repeating, “But what do the smart people say” and so I gave up.

I was waiting for him to spontaneously combust.

“Nothing in the Constitution precludes a new election if we oust Trump.”
Nothing in your head precludes a new . . . well, let’s just leave it at ‘nothing in your head.’

Keith is still suffering from the trauma when a kid folded his prized baseball,, card in half.

  • Mr. Freemarket

While it is true that his cranium contains a great deal of fat, it is also surrounded by a thick skull. The holes in his head are too small to admit enough air for sustained combustion.

  • But Dave, isn’t that what you want? Why the change of heart?

Still stuck in stupid mode, I see.

The totalitarian Progressives are moving into their endgame which has always included civil war because there is no other way to impose hard tyranny on an armed society. For over 100 years they have been taking over institutions and industries a little at a time and now have to accelerate their schedule to prevent losing the gains they have made, at least from their extremist perspective.

It is too late to equip and train to fight, at best you can hope to equip and store to survive if you have sufficient resources to do so in the next few months, but time has run out on all but a slim chance of survival for those who have buried their heads in the sand, or elsewhere, until now.

The Constitution also says that only Congress can declare war.

Herr Oberloon is just another deliberately ignorant leftard. Is anyone actually surprised?

    consider this:

“Arguing with leftists is like playing chess with a pigeon.
No matter how good you are at chess, the pigeon is going to knock over the pieces, crap on the board, and strut around like it is victorious.” – from RealSciene

That was before America became the “world’s policeman”.
The purpose of the united nations was pretty much to prevent tyrants from starting another world war. Since Russia and China were in the security council, that was a bust. America also adopted the policy of “containing” communism, and that led to half-assing it. Then came the muslim war in which we FULL-assed it.

If hillary was elected there would not be any more elections

  • MAS

Seems there are those among us who simply will not rest until they foment civil war (on both sides). Those that lust after it fail to realize, however, that they are normally the first to face the chopping block when their new boss wins.

  • MAS

Your guy won, wasn’t that what you wanted? Guess not because now you patrol the web and police those who simply trying to hold your guy’s feet to the fire? Would you be satisfied if Dave repented of his sin of being a sceptic and became a simpleton pom pom waver for president Trump? Probably not, trolls are trolls…

  • KirklesWorth

There’s no use in taunting at this stage @Angel_Artiste:disqus. After all, some are elevating Keith Olbermann’s stupid comment to a sign of civil war.

  • Saxon Warrior

Assuming that in moonbat la-la land you actually could just oust an electoral winner because you didn’t like him, then what? Hold another election and assume that this time everybody will vote the way you want them to?
Of course that’s ignoring the fact that the vice-president would take over if a president is kicked out, and the prize does not automatically go to the runner up.
Seriously, moonbats are like spoiled children. They are complete idiots.

Some advice, moonbats. Stay out of any intlelligent discussions in future. And leave the politics to the grown-ups!

  • And true.
