Shrillary Rotten Aspires to Be Spiritual Leader

Heaven help us. Arguably the most conspicuously corrupt figure in American politics wants to become a spiritual leader:

[Shrillary] Clinton wants to preach, according to her pastor Rev. Bill Shillady, who has written a book about the former secretary of state’s spiritual life, particularly during her years-long campaign for president.

I wonder if bookstores will stock it in the Horror section.

During a promotional photoshoot for “Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions Of Hillary Rodham Clinton,” a year’s worth of devotions tailored for Clinton as she campaigned for president, Clinton told Shillady that she’d like spiritual leadership to be part of her career.

If only she could get Bibles to stop bursting into flames when she touches them…

Clinton asked Shillady not to write about her desire to be a pastor, however, because “it will make me seem much too pious,” Clinton told Shillady, according The Atlantic.

That she presumably said that with a straight face tells you all you need to know about the Democrat voter base.

Possible cover photo for the book on Shrillary’s spiritual life.

On a tip from Guy B.

Why do images from the movie “Elmer Gantry” flash through my head when I consider the idea of Hillary as a preacher of the Gospel. There have been a number of other bible-thumping charlatans so she would be nothing new.
I suppose since they have closed down the Clinton Foundation and Family Slush Fund she feels the need to scam some income from someone, so why not the “deplorable clingers”
I can hear her now, “Giver your money to Jesus, but make the check out to me”.

  • Area man

Guess she realizes the politics gravy train is going off the tracks, so she needs a new way to scam the rubes for her millions of dollars. Doesn’t she know the Democrat party rejected God in 2012?

  • daPenguin

ok Dave, am calling you out on this one. There is no way that her pastors name is Shill Lady! The Onion could not pull that one off.

  • NotKennedy

Benny Hinn ain’t got nothing on Our Lady of Constant Failure. Maybe Joyce Meyer can explain the process to her.

More than ever, it deserves to be called Hellary.

Of course the question really is “which God did they reject?”

They really are quite a religious group with child sacrifice being an important part of their religion.

A Swedish band has already done her theme song:

  • Kevin R.

This has got to have something to do with tax write-offs.

  • NotablyWhite

Someone needs to explain to her that NECROMANCY, consulting with the dead, is not exactly “spiritual leadership.”

Even BJC admits that HRC consults with people beyond the grave, especially Eleanor Roosevelt.

Leopards don’t change their spots and grifters don’t stop grifting they just change up their long con every few years.

  • Floridian

Just when you think the Clintons can’t get any more odious, they surpass your expectations again.

  • 127guy

You got it. The “Clinton Foundation” isn’t exactly raking it in these days and this may be a backdoor way to access the funds for personal use, kickbacks, etc.

  • Eddie_Valiant

I’m not easily offended, but I find this video offensive. Are the families of these sickos real proud of these clowns?

  • Eddie_Valiant

    Well said sir!

  • Eddie_Valiant

Just Google the name and you’ll find this

  • Eddie_Valiant

The difference between “Elmer Gantry” and Shrill is Burt Lancaster could act.

If only she could get Bibles to stop bursting into flames when she touches them…

That’s some world-class snark there, Dave. Thanks for my morning guffaw.

  • Mr. Freemarket

And here I thought it couldn’t get more absurd..

Hillary’s pastor compare’s Clinton’s campaign and loss to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Shillady, throughout his message, claimed “Sunday is coming.”

  • JeffersonSpinningInGrave

Yeah, I’m a flavor of agnostic, and that was enough to disturb me. Even if you don’t believe in satan as an entity, to worship what satan represents as a symbol is ugly.

It’s nothing new. Being “edgy” to sell their music. I doubt any of them really believe their own crap. That said, this kind of thing is becoming more mainstream I think where it was kind of culty with smaller followings before.

  • Boltman

Maybe she just wants some of that Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson action? Maybe there’s a cage match in our future. We can only hope.

  • JeffersonSpinningInGrave

Methodist? I would have thought Episcopalian would be a better fit for her. But the methodist church is no strange to leftist rot either.

    My desktop for today! Thanks.
