$750,000 for New Soccer Field for Gitmo Terrorists

While the USA staggers toward bankruptcy, its backbone cracking under the strain of Obama’s massive debt, this is how Big Government sees fit to spend our money:

At a time of record deficits, a new soccer field for detainees at Camp 6 in Guantanamo Bay is just getting the finishing touches — at a cost of $750,000 to taxpayers. …

The new field has been specially constructed so that the detainees “have maximum access” — about 20 hours a day. Special passageways allow the detainees to pass into the new recreation yard without being escorted by the military.

Club Gitmo houses the worse of the worse Islamic terrorists. In any other time, they would have been lined up in front of a machine gun immediately following their rigorous interrogation. Instead they play soccer while awaiting their inevitable release, after which they will go right back to murdering innocent Americans.

Hopefully the soccer balls are properly inflated. Underinflated balls constitute “torture” according to the caterwauling we’ve heard regarding the supposed abuse of the pampered terrorists at Gitmo.

“Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence…” — Thomas Jefferson

We used to stop at GTMO to fuel up, get supplies, visit the exchange, get haircuts, go to cable beach, have “beer on the pier” and play softball. The field wasn’t in the best condition, but we still had fun — no one complained. We certainly never felt like we deserved a new field. We were just happy to be able to play.

Spending $750,000 for these terrorists a-holes is a damn disgrace.

Just to keep things fair, we should treat them exactly as they treat their prisoners. Meaning, take no prisoners. Aside from saving tons of our hard-earned money, it would send a clear message to our enemies in that, we will no longer allow the cowards and traitors in DC, and this includes the armchair pussies of the Joint Chiefs, to send us into battle with orders to fight, but not hurt anyone. If we must go to war, we will kill everything in sight, then go home.

Paying for a soccer field is stupid. But, then again, this is the same Administration that wants active and retired military to pay more for health care. Increases as high as 300%.

Talk about breaking faith. So I guess we pay for these criminals.

Simple solution: bury a couple dozen land mines on the field, give the scumbags a pat on the back and an anticipatory insha’Allah, and send them out to play some soccer.

If their cause is righteous then their moon god will keep their feet in the right places, so none of them should have a reason to say no. Otherwise, it would make for a hell of a deficit-reducing PPV event.
