God exists since mathematics is consistent, and the Devil exists since we cannot prove it. - Andre Weil

    .
I think I am going to throw up:

“Social justice” and “civil rights” activist Linda Sarsour spoke Wednesday
night about her activism work after receiving the Margaret Brent Award
from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Living in a world where the only progressive thing seems to be becoming more and more insane.

  • Mr. Freemarket

Any woman who wears a hijab cannot claim that she is for freedom for women…or civil rights in any respect.

  • My comfort is that I will most likely not live to experience any more than 30 years of leftist insanity before I meet God. My horror is that I have potentially 30 more years of it.

Sadly my children and grandchildren will have to deal with it for the foreseeable future.

I love the quotation leading this thread. Simply put, the complexities of the universe exceed man’s ability and understanding. Mathematicians struggle to explain the universe. Astronomers keep making “unexpected” discoveries. The beginnings of life elude the biologists.

Many engineers recognize the hand of a supreme designer.

    The humble communicate with God.

Absolutely! What republic can survive if its voters howl at the moon?

When women are covered up, the men don’t have to worry about impure thoughts.

Makes you wonder why they don’t cover up their goats, too.

  • Well well… turns out Trump didn’t ruin America’s economy after all!

    http://nypost.com/2017/11/11/turns-out-trump-didnt-ruin-americas-economy/

Foreign tourism to New York City is set to rise 3.6 percent this year — defying yet another of the many doomsday predictions about Donald Trump’s presidency.

Back in February, the city tourism agency said Trump’s “travel ban and related rhetoric” would mean a drop of 300,000 visitors this year. But the NYC & Co. prophecy proved false.

Of course, other predictions were more dire — particularly those about the stock market.
Finance expert Steve Rattner foresaw “a market crash of historic proportions” under a President Trump. Moody’s warned of a “weaker” economy. Many said 2 percent GDP growth was the best that could be hoped for.

Other doomsayers included Mark Cuban, CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin and firms such as Bridgewater Associates and Macroeconomic Advisers. (A less-dishonorable mention goes to Nobel-winning economist Paul Krugman, who at least walked back his doomsaying about “a global recession, with no end in sight,” soon after election night.)

In fact, the Dow has climbed more than 25 percent since Hillary Clinton conceded. And the first two full quarters of Trump’s term both saw growth of 3 percent or more. Oops.

More recently, Trump’s cutbacks of money to help folks sign up for ObamaCare brought warnings that enrollment would surely plummet. Hah! Over the first few days of open enrollment this year, a record number of people signed up, The Hill reported Tuesday.

The first day alone saw 200,000 sign-ups, twice last year’s number, and more than 1 million visited healthcare.gov, versus 750,000 in 2016.

As for all the noise about fascism and tyranny: Trump has scrupulously obeyed the law, even as judges came up with unprecedented legal theories to strike down his “travel ban” executive orders.

None of this guarantees that the markets won’t turn south eventually, or that ObamaCare won’t run into the rocks. But it does tell you that talk of Trump-fueled armageddon is partisan hysteria, unhinged from reality.

  • I disagree with those who say Clinton is finished. To me she’s like those horror movie monsters – Michael Meyers, Jason, you know, the ones who keep getting killed but somehow are alive again no matter what. Now she may not have a chance, but she will try again – at least at this time that is the way it seems. Hopefully she will be investigated, charged, tried, convicted and incarcerated – but will even that end her attempts at a comeback? I can’t say. She is obstinate.

    http://nypost.com/2017/11/11/how-the-ex-dnc-chair-ruined-clintons-chance-at-2020/

The explosive book by the former head of the Democratic National Committee is rocking the political world with its tales of Hillary Clinton’s brazen corruption and tawdry deceits. To add extra punch to her insider’s account, Brazile is telling interviewers that Clinton’s 2016 campaign was “sterile” and a “cult,” and mocking it as sexless and joyless.

She even writes that she considered trying to replace Clinton as the nominee over health concerns after the candidate collapsed at the 9/11 anniversary ceremony, a fact that demolishes the myth that suspicions about Clinton’s condition were the sole province of conservative partisans.

To say the Clinton camp is furious at what they regard as betrayal doesn’t do justice to their outrage. They are attacking Brazile personally, accusing her of telling outright lies just to sell books.

Which is mighty rich when you consider the history of the Clintons.

Still, you can’t blame their distress because the stakes are huge. If it sticks, Brazile’s searing indictment of Hillary’s persona, ethics and political skills could prove fatal to her hopes for a 2020 comeback.

Boob jobs gone BUST: Surgeons spending MORE time taking out implants
SURGEONS are now spending more time taking out boob implants than putting them in.

Apparently the NHS is not paying for bolt on’s any more, or at least is severely limiting such operations.

Surgery is now only being granted to those with significantly misshapen breasts or to women who can prove they are suffering serious psychological effects.

The number of removals has surged partly because the fashion for enormous false breasts has declined.

The scandal over French PIP silicone – where hundreds of women had potentially dangerous implants taken out – also had an effect.

‘Saturday Night Live’ Paints Democrats as Out of Touch, Elderly Losers

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/saturday-night-live-paints-democrats-as-out-of-touch-elderly-losers

Of course much the same could be said of the establishment Republicans, particularly McCain, for instance, but many more as well.

Then there was Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton who begged voters for “just one more chance,” and “then maybe one more chance after that.”

All indications are that Hillary still hasn’t figured out why she wasn’t 50 points ahead of Trump.

  • Moonbats are back to ignoring the rot that they’re full of, and well aware of.

Not one of the night’s presenters or honorees mentioned the sex abuse scandal that’s been spreading through the industry since harassment and assault allegations surfaced last month against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. Several high-profile men, including Kevin Spacey and Louis C.K., have since been accused of repeated misconduct.

With sexual harassment off to the side, the Governors Awards was a night of classic Hollywood schmoozing and celebration. One of the most exclusive parties of the year, the guest list included Tom Hanks, Salma Hayek, Jake Gyllenhaal, James Franco, Sarah Paulson, Emma Stone, Robert Pattinson, Gary Oldman, Ben Stiller, Sofia Coppola, Patty Jenkins and Sam Rockwell.

  • I guess there’s a reason the rules prohibit physical contact like this.

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/slap-exercise-lands-navy-seal-candidate-coma-article-1.3626113

As an incentive to correctly answer questions, two sailors allegedly agreed to slap whichever one got a response wrong. BUD/S candidates typically challenge each other to perform acts of physical exertion, such as push ups, because striking another student is forbidden.

One of the candidates reportedly reeled from a slap and fell to the floor, striking his head. He was rushed to Naval Medical Center San Diego where surgeons placed him in a medically-induced coma to help heal what SEAL spokesman Lt. Trevor Davids said was an unintentional injury.

Actually, there is a mathematical equation that literally PROVES the existence of God.
Technically, It proves that the entire universe was not formed or created by a “random event”, but is actually a product of “Intelligent Design.”

I’m not a mathematics genius, so I had to use a computer and a scientific calculator to follow and “decipher” each portion of the equation- over a period of weeks.
    It works.
