Advertisers May Abandon NBC in Droves
Video has surfaced from the program Point Counterpoint that will inevitably lead to a mass exodus of advertisers, despite whatever groveling apologies may be issued:
Even Rush Limbaugh’s crimes pale in comparison to the misogyny of using the s-word right to someone’s face. If only Dan Aykroyd had limited himself to the c-word and t-word, he would still be an accepted member of the media establishment, and his donations would be welcome at the White House.

Amazing how this was once accepted and often used in humor. Now with one-sided hatred filled whores called liberals, it is only accepted if you hate America. If not you get attacked by the wolves as Rush recently found out. My…how times have changed.

In name-calling, sensitivities always heighten as you get closer to the truth. Liars hate being called liars more than those who don’t lie. Thieves hate being called thieves more than those who don’t steal. Drunks hate being called drunks more than those who don’t drink. And it usually happens that like-minded peers rush to the defense. So, Aykroyd could call Curtain a slut and it was funny because it was disconnected from the topic of conversation. Say it to someone who actually sleeps around, and it’s not so funny anymore. Since the guilty refuse to see their true reflection, when someone else holds up a mirror the only way to escape is to line up your enablers and to look for somewhere to shift the blame.
The sluts will find this offensive.

I don’t think you folks get it. Dan Aykroyd was playing the part of a right wing commenter calling a woman a slut. At the time it was parody. Now it’s reality.
I was a big fan of SNL in those days. The “weekend updates” were the best part of the show. Their humor was irreverant but cutting edge, and they spared NO ONE.
Sadly, PC is now a religion, victimhood it’s sacrament.
In the mid-70s during my time at Mich. St. Univ. we used to joke about garbage collectors wanting to be known as “sanitation engineers”.
