Service Dog Disrupts Cats Performance

You know the service animal phenomenon has gotten out of control when someone brings a dog to a performance of Cats — with predictable results:

Spies at the Neil Simon Theatre tell us an audience member’s service dog “got away from its owner and ran after [the character] Bombalurina, performed by actress Mackenzie Warren, during the opening number.”

Those with service dogs (or less house trainable service ponies, if they are Muslim) can bring their pet to even the most inappropriate places, on the grounds that they have something wrong with them and therefore are absolved from following rules, everyone else’s interests being subordinated to their own. This may make sense for the blind, but politically correct reverence for handicappedness has extended the concept even to people who need their 300-lb pet pig with them on airline flights to “relieve stress.”

Fortunately, incidents like the one at the Cats performance will not occur when liberal utopia is achieved, because dogs and cats will undergo mandatory conflict resolution seminars until they learn to get along.

On a tip from Bodhisattva.

Yup dogs rule and make great counter moonbats…

  • Americangirl5

Why did the dog even chase the cat? Wasn’t the dog taught that all animals are the same? What if the cat identified as a dog, would that have helped? Oh, wait, it is instinct to chase cats. Guess it is time to reprogram the dogs.

I want a service llama. They’re soft and cuddly, easy to care for, and fairly quiet. Except for when they scream all night long.

  • Saxon Warrior

    This is all planned.
Not by moonbats of course, they’re too stupid. Moonbats are just the conceited, self-righteous tools of much more sinister puppet-masters.
None of it makes any sense and it’s not supposed to. We can sit here all day long and ponder the senselessness of moonbat ideology; how they have made the world go insane, and what evil, disruptive nuisances they are. But in the long run they are irrelevant.
The cultural Marxists and the Illuminati have created this moonbat chaos in order to destroy Western civilization. That’s why we never see or hear of any moonbattery in China or in Muslim countries.

    Good boy!

    Everyone’s a critic. Even dogs.

I’m very sympathetic to your POV regarding the cultural Marxists. Though, in this particular case, a dog chasing someone on stage would be the highlight of the show for me.

Still, service dogs on the whole tend to be far better behaved than moonbats, one of which was probably playing Bombalurina…

Can’t do a llama but how about a goat?

  • Anonymous White Male

The Cat on stage just affirmed what all dogs know. Cats are useless creatures because they don’t know how to play chase. They just run up a tree and hiss at the dogs.

    Depends on the cat…

Cue the music, Who let the dogs out?

I grew up in Morristown NJ, home to the original Seeing Eye Dog center. These dogs were a common sight around the town center, training crossing streets, training to judge traffic in the street, training to totally ignore the young children “oh, nice doggie”, training to stay exactly beside their blind master, training to be actual working service dogs. Service dogs aren’t a problem, untrained “service dogs” don’t deserve the name.
