Ridiculous Cases of Prohibited Speech on Campus

Using horrifying real-life examples, Greg Lukianoff of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education illustrates just how hostile college campuses now are to the concept of freedom of speech:

The culture higher education is shaping will be fertile soil for totalitarianism. It will be anything but fertile for the individual liberty that the country was founded on and that allowed it to become great.

On a tip from Bodhisattva.

Well, I for one consider “laughter” as a white male patriarchy macro-aggression – after all, none of these stern-faced puritans (just think of their photographs, and imagine that they have just swallowed a steaming pile of unpalatable turds) will ever consider humour or laughter as acceptable.

Laughing at the antics of the crazy folk is akin to the laughing at the antics of the loonies in the loony bins. Unfortunately, we don’t have loony bins (sorry, mental health facilities) any more.

BUT – they still hate us for laughing. Fuck them.

Unfortunately I only saw 6 students in that lecture. All those empty seats (shakes head).
