House REPUBLICANS need your help to save America. And a little help in the Senate and White House would help as well. I know, the Republicans need work too, but still, this is one year my mantra, even though I’m an INDEPENDENT, is VOTE REPUBLICAN. Give them a chance to start to fix everything Obama broke then, in 4 years, if they don’t demonstrate a willingness and ability to do so, VOTE ANYTHING BUT DEMOCRAT/REPUBLICAN from then on.
Apparently Osama bin Laden was a savvy analyst of American politics. Though not the best – he got it right that Biden would be “totally unprepared” to be President but he failed to mention Obama was STILL “totally unprepared”, even after 3 years on the job!

Re-birth of the Birthers
When a grinning Barack Hussein Obama finally produced his long form Hawaiian birth certificate on April 27, 2011–following years of questions fueled by strong suspicions he was born in Kenya–he felt certain all doubts that he was constitutionally-qualified to hold the office of the presidency had been laid to rest.
Principal contributing factors for the qustions related to the inexplicably inordinate delays in providing the Long Form certificate and the million or so dollars the Obama camp spent to avoid the minimalist task of simply displaying a piece of paper. Neither the delay nor the money expended made any sense.
Testimony to the lingering doubts, Arizona’s Sherrif Joe Arpaio recently launched a privately-funded 6 month investigation into the matter of exactly who and what our president was, Kenyan or American?
As he announced at a press conference, no major media source had investigated the controversy so his cold case posse of volunteers would look into the issue in order to resolve it once and for all.
Arpaio said after receiving the posse report, ”We believe probable cause exists indicating that forgery and fraud may have been committed, not only in President Obama’s long-form birth certificate, but more disturbing evidence suggests that another fraud may have been committed regarding his selected service registration card. Based on all of the evidence presented and investigated I cannot in good faith report to you that these documents are authentic.” (http://abcn.ws/zrMUTU)
Although Arpaio was convinced that both Obama’s birth certificate and draft card were forgeries, he isn’t prepared to accuse the president, yet. The investigation is continuing.
Left unmentioned by the sheriff is the issue of Obama’s Social Security card number which was originally issued to a French immigrant born in 1890 and re-issued to Obama in the state of Connecticut in 1977. The 15 year old Barry was residing in Hawaii with his maternal grandparents at the time and never resided in the Nutmeg State.
At least one blogger has suggested the grandparents’ connection with well-connected Connecticut socialite, Helen Canfield, helped grease the skids to secure a SSN for Obama since he lacked an American birth certificate.
On the other hand, Snopes.com, long an avid Obama defender, alleged the SSN was valid. Snopes termed the brouhaha “fantastical.” As “proof,” Snopes said Jean Paul Ludwig’s SSN was different and offered for verification a link to the Social Security Death Index which turned out to be useless and referred searchers to Ancestry.com.
Personally, I’m dubious as to all the birther allegations despite their potent arguments that Barack Hussein Obama was not born in the United States of America and thus ineligible to serve as president–and subject to prosecution as a liar and usurper.
Perhaps due to my septuagenarian naiveté, I find it difficult to accept that America’s mainstream media would not have reported those damning facts.
However, a composite, 11 minute video of the president’s statements . . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=17584.)

While Obama Mothballs The Navy, He Activates “Presidential Airlift” Planes To Ferry Him Around For His Election Campaign
Some wars are worth winning.
The 89th Airlift Wing activated the 305th and 306th Expeditionary Airlift Squadrons here, Dec. 1. The squadrons will play an integral role supporting presidential airlift in the coming months.
“This mission provides dedicated assets to our highest priority airlift – presidential support. Air Mobility Command accomplishes this during election years by standing up two squadrons, C-17s based here at Andrews, and C-130s based in Wilmington, Del.,” said Col Allan Hess, 89th Operations Group commander.
Aircraft and personnel are prepositioned to support an expected surge in airlift so the Air Force is postured to more efficiently and effectively meet the needs of the commander in chief while remaining good stewards of taxpayer funds.

Yes, Obama is the Manichurian President, no doubt.

The Case for Crazy: What the GOP Would Learn by Picking Rick Santorum
Giving a self-identified “full-spectrum conservative” theo-con like Santorum the nomination would mean we’d really have a “choice, not an echo” election in November. Republicans would be forced to confront the fact that talk about Satan attacking America, negative obsessions with homosexuality, contraception and opposition to abortion even in cases of rape and incest alienates far more people than they attract.
Our politics are looking more and more like a cult because of unprecedented polarization—any issue where there is deviation from accepted orthodoxy leads to an attempted purge. It is absurd that clownish conservative caricatures like Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain were briefly elevated to the top of the polls while more sober-minded presidential candidates with executive experience like Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman Jr. failed to gain any traction. The result is the weakest Republican field in living memory.

Gateway, I thought he was closer to a seal, probably the 28th or 29th. He don’t quite have the importance of the 1st or 66th.
Seriously though, is lao really posting something written by a liberal complaining about the GOP choices? Of course the lefties would rather have had us run huntsman or pawlenty, they would be easy to beat, almost as easy as the candidate they picked last time (and tried to pick instead of Bush, McCain). They continue to attack Bachman and Cain (even though they are clearly out). So when the opposition tells you that you are making a mistake, that really means what you are doing is working. I was less than thrilled by Santorum and Romney, now I have a bit more hope for them.

Don’t you just love how, just when you think lao finally got with his doctor and got his dosages straightened out, he posts a link from some lunatic left wing site along with their craziness, typically calling the right crazy, and proves he’s as out there as always?
Yeah, picking Rick Santorum would be crazy? That’s the best you can do?
And the leftist racism and complete break with reality is summed up with this sentence nicely:
“It is absurd that clownish conservative caricatures like Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain were briefly elevated to the top of the polls while more sober-minded presidential candidates with executive experience like Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman Jr. failed to gain any traction.”
While Herman Cain had human failings, as all candidates do (the left, after all, elected an admitted cocaine addict with NO executive experience), the way they treat him shows how deep their own racism runs. For he had years of “executive experience” and yet the best thing they can say about him is that he’s a “clownish conservative caricature”. They were so afraid of him that they did everything they could, spent time, money and effort, to dig up what? That he took after their patron saint, their “first black President”, Bill Clinton and couldn’t keep his penis in his pants?
Let me remind you that now that’s twice they’ve claimed to elect a “black man” and the first was all white while the second was only half black. Cain, a true black man, scared the hell out of the left and so they went into overdrive to discredit him.
Santorum has flaws, yes, but he’s no more a “theo-con” than Jimmy Carter was a holy roller – in fact the “theo” part of that argument applied a lot MORE to Carter than it does to Santorum.
So, once again, the left’s complete hypocrisy is in full view. And lao does a great job of digging it up and bringing it to us, reminding us how completely insane both the message and the messenger really are.
LAO THE COMMIE desperatly calls Santorum “crazy” while failing to defend his tin god and his puppeteers in the previous artical.
Why do you maintain such an INDEFENCABLE position? We know that it’s indefencable because you consistantly REFUSE to defend it; all you can do is attack the beliefs of others, a COMMUNIST tactic.
Some background info on “The Daily Beast”, another of lao’s preferred sites:
Founded and published by Tina Brown, the site bills itself as “news and OPINION”. Tina Brown’s background: She’s a former editor for Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and a failed venture known as Talk Magazine.
They’re known for questionable reporting: Gerald Posner, their former “chief investigative reporter”, was caught two years ago when he claimed to have written approximately one paragraph from a Miami Herald article and, when confronted, claimed he had written them. He also stole content from Texas Lawyer magazine, a health care journalism blog, a Miami Herald blog and a Miami Herald editorial and presented it as his own.
So these are the sources lao uses. No wonder his posts are so full of crap!
The lunatic left says that “global warming” caused this. This is normal, natural variation in weather on the short term and climate on a longer time scale. This is a result of a confluence of factors, just as the 1998 weather that gave some credence to theories of unusual warming, at least among those who were in the “I’m not smart enough to know so I believe whatever I’m told” (i.e. lao) crowd, was.
The story tells the truth with this sentence:
wo different weather phenomenon – La Nina and its northern cousin the Arctic Oscillation – are mostly to blame, meteorologists say.
But then it goes along with the climate crazies with this one:
Global warming could also be a factor because it is supposed to increase weather extremes, climate scientists say.
In fact “global warming” did NOT increase weather extremes – rather it made the weather MORE BENIGN! It made the winters milder (as we saw this winter) and it made the cold nights warmer. That’s right – global warming was mostly a phenomenon that reduced cold extremes and reduced the differences that drive extreme weather events.
Extreme weather events depend on large differences between air masses. When these differences do not exist, the engine that drives severe weather events is not present. Global warming causes weather to be LESS severe, not more severe.
Typically, the left gets it backwards, just like with everything else.
I see I missed a letter “T” in the above post quote. My bad.
Obamunist contradicts herself, sends opposite messages. Par for the course with this administration. Chief among these is their “Under our plans energy prices would necessarily skyrocket” along with claims (not in line with their actions, though) they want to keep energy prices down now that it’s affecting re-election chances.

Obamunists renew their assault on religion and religious institutions.
See page 7 of the linked PDF, which is an announcement of intent to release some regulations, a phony attempt to solicit comments and suggestions which, as we saw with the EPA on CO2, isn’t going to affect the planned regulations, which are already written and will not be affected no matter what common sense comments are made as a result of this request.
NOTE IN PARTICULAR:
They define religious organizations in a way that could lead to legal action against them (for discriminating on the basis of religion) and in a roundabout way try to head off any complaint such organizations are under attack by claiming they’ve already accepted being forced to provide contraceptive coverage in some states:
The amended interim final regulations further specified that, for purposes of this exemption only, a religious employer is one that– (1) has the inculcation of religious values as its purpose; (2) primarily employs persons who share its religious tenets; (3) primarily serves persons who share its religious tenets; and (4) is a non-profit organization described in section 6033(a)(1) and section 6033(a)(3)(A)(i) or (iii) of the Code. Section 6033(a)(3)(A)(i) and (iii) of the Code refers to churches, their integrated auxiliaries, and conventions or associations of churches, as well as to the exclusively religious activities of any religious order. This religious exemption is consistent with the policies in some States that currently both require contraceptive coverage and provide for some type of religious exemption from their contraceptive coverage requirement.
Wouldn’t an organization that “primarily employs persons who share its religious tenets” or “primarily serves persons who share its religious tenets” be potentially vulnerable to lawsuits based on discrimination on the basis of religion?
It always amuses me when the left expends so much time “advising” the right on who the correct candidate should be for their opposition.
A majority of Americans consider themselves religious. Satan is an integral part of religious doctrine, and is constantly tempting humans to stray from the path.
A majority of Americans are not comfortable with the agenda of “activist” homosexuals. Read a comment on another site from a proponent of gay “marriage”: “30% of people accept gay marriage. We win, a**hole.” Which of course means, even accepting his claim, 70% disapprove.
A majority of Americans do not believe the government should mandate that all employers, including those who self-insure, contraception/abortifacient coverage.
I will grant the abortion portion, strictly because it specifies the rape/incest argument.
I do NOT see the correlation that these topics would alienate more people than they would attract.
Under those conditions perhaps we should have the conversation.
My personal belief is that the far more important arguments for this election cycle are the economic situation, the unprecedented attempt by this administration to move power from the Legislative branch to the Executive, and the foreign policy which has succeeded in weakening America’s position on the world stage while alienating many of our traditional allies.
Am I comfortable with the slate of candidates? Not particularly. But they are what we have to deal with, you can’t put Babe Ruth or Sandy Koufax in the lineup if they play for the other team or are still in the minor leagues.
I will vote for the Republican in November, and will do my best to ensure true conservatives are elected to the congress, state and local offices. You build a pyramid from the bottom up.
Is this the weakest Republican field in living memory? Gerald Ford (1976), Bob Dole (1996), John McCain (2008), and also GHW Bush (1992). Two of those were incumbents.
I purposely did not respond to the hyperbolic parts of the article; it is a partisan site, one must expect partisan hyperbole.
