Looter Sues Over Baby Rat Bite
What a wonderful time to be a lawyer. The lawsuit looting spree has even spread to the Great White North:
Trisha Fulawka is suing Petland, alleging she is suffering from post-traumatic stress, nightmares, lingering injuries and continued pain after she was repeatedly bitten by a rat last year at the company’s store on Regent Avenue West in Winnipeg. …
Petland district manager Lori Anderson said the domestic rat that bit Fulawka was a baby, adding it was being kept at the rear of the store for more socializing because it was skittish and would bite when handled.
Anderson said Fulawka picked up the animal against the advice of the store’s staff, adding she was insistent she wanted to handle it.
“This lady was very insistent, that she had 14 pet rats and she was very, very experienced and she didn’t believe that she would be having a problem with them.”
Fulawka has cut back on her working hours, allegedly having been partially disabled by the baby rat. She probably won’t need to work at all if her demands for “unspecified aggravated and special damages” are met.
Under liberalism, the fastest way to get ahead is to become a helpless victim. Already this has caused people to degenerate to the point of being debilitated by even the most minor injuries.
Imagine how pathetic we will become in a few generations if the reign of moonbattery continues. Baby rats won’t even have to bite; a cross look will be enough to permanently traumatize.

On a tip from Robert S. Pierre.

I thought Lori Anderson was a porn star.
Must be moonlighting.
Thanks, Dave. That picture traumatized me for life. You’ll be hearing from my lawyers!
Oh Judith M., you took the words out of my fingers! We might start a class lawsuit! LOL
Who in their right mind have “pet rats”?!
I have had 13 over the years. They are great pets. I’ve been bitten by accident several times, such as when one takes a treat from my fingers and bites a little too hard. I survived with no lasting trauma.
I worked with people like this women in the story. They will do what ever it takes to get paid not to work, and at the same time make your life and other productive employees life a living hell, getting outraged at any little infraction or non PC like behavior even if they have to eavesdrop and spy on you.
Rats are fine pets, my youngest daughter had had one for the past 2 years and they’re a lot cleaner than I expected. How do you bet that lady in this story would have sued if she wasn’t allowed to touch it? Maybe traumatisms or discrimination? Heck, if I were her I’d play it safe next time she tries to loot a business. Go for a kitten, their bite will only tickle and she’ll be claiming the same thing anyway.
The lawsuit lottery gained traction back in the 70′s when the Prudent Man principle was tossed out. It needs to be brought back with a vengeance. If you act stupidly, especially after being warned, then you are on your own, not the beneficiary of a zillion dollar lawsuit.
This story is an outrageous, unprincipled and unprovoked attack on the 1% of the nation’s personal injury lawyers who are not greedy, scum-sucking pigs.
Suit will be filed shortly requesting immediate redress in the courts.
