Thought Crime and Punishment at University of Texas

The cartoon above accurately summarizes the Trayvon Martin shooting as portrayed by the “mainstream” media. However, it is not compliant with politically correct ideology to make this observation. Consequently, Stephanie Eisner, the University of Texas cartoonist responsible, was promptly fired from the Daily Texan, which issued a contemptible, belly-crawling apology. Eisner had to publicly bleat that she is not a “racist.”
We’ll see if her pleas for forgiveness are enough to persuade Hollywood celebrities to refrain from tweeting her parents’ address; if not, I hope they have fire insurance.
This is what passes for the free exchange of ideas at a modern university.
On a tip from Bob Roberts.

It’s Austin, it’s a large university, it’s academe, she’s lucky the communists didn’t roast and eat her.
Draws a damn good cartoon. Maybe she has some for sale….
Texas is an awesome state to live…..but we still have idiot pc’ness run amuck:

If you get your ass kicked by a 71yo grandma….just shut up about it.What a T O O L .
No loss, she should have been fired for bad drawing.
We used to call the Daily Texan the Daily Toxin for its constant liberal bias.
We’re walking right into their trap. This is going to be escalated to a race war. A “crisis”…and isn’t it lucky that Mr. Obama just signed that executive order giving him total, unlimited authority during a time of “crisis”.
I say let them whine and bleat and don’t give them the violent reaction that they want.
That said, if they insist and it turns ugly, 100,000,000 armed Americans will take care of the problem in a non-politically correct way (but very expedient) way.
The irony is, the firing, the apologies, etc amplify and validate the message of the cartoon. That if you don’t follow along with the stereotypes and refuse to play the race card and the lowly-oppressed-minority victim card, then you’re speech will not be tolerated.
I am saddened by what is happening to our country. I am also flat-out puke sick of constantly hearing racist racist racist every damn day. The word has no meaning anymore.
Speaking of firings:
Lao, I mean QUEEF-O FIRED from Current TV.
ROFLMAO! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!
Not even giving him a diving board to flounce from:

Replaced by Client No. 9.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I CAN’T BREATH!
Oh my goodness.
Libtards are so utterly pathetic. These are your heroes, leftists? God I need a tissue to sop up the tears…..
Honestly, how pathetic do you have to be to get fired from Al Gore’s network?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
How can you teach responsibility to editors in this environment?
.
I bet Pravda has an opening for Keith.

____________
Exactly. Unions helped to put the communists into power in the USSR. However, once in power, those unions were no longer needed.
Maybe Olberman expressed doubts about global warming.
She got fired? I don’t get what’s wrong with the cartoon. It’s accurate… “The big bad white man killed the handome, sweet, colored boy.” There’s nothing wrong with that. Except the “boy” part. That’s racist.
sounds like a good case for ‘wrongful dismissal’ to me
As pointed out, they have a problem with the word “colored” except, apparently, when it’s used in association with the words National Association for the Advancement of and People!
Oh, and what a terrible day for lao and his ilk now that Keith Olbermann can’t even cut it on Al Gore’s “Current TV”.
Why hasn’t anyone made public Spike Lee’s home address and phone number?
Wasn’t he the guy who got moved out of 10021 because it got too big for sorting and moved to 10065 because that was a better fit for 153 East 63 Street?
There’s a petition now to get the cartoonist reinstated:

This might be a long shot, but could you make a blog post about this?
