The reason Black Lives Matter rioters were able to loot, destroy, and vandalize statues of our national heroes throughout the country with minimal resistance from police is that big cities are run by liberals, who are on the same side as the rioters. This was made obvious from the beginning, when soy boy Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey turned over the Third Precinct to be burned down by the mob. It continues to be underscored by municipal moonbats who shower public money upon rioters to reward their behavior.

The city of Seattle has agreed to pay $10 million to 50 Black Lives Matter protesters who sued the police department for claiming they used excessive force during the riots in 2020, in a settlement announced by attorneys from both sides on Wednesday.

The supposedly excessive force consists of using “aggressive” crowd control devices like flash-bang grenades, foam-tipped projectiles, and blast balls that emit pepper gas.

Traditionally, rioters are shot.

Big Government taxes what it wants less of, like wealth generation. It uses the money expropriated to subsidize what it wants more of, like race riots.

Democrats want rioters to know that their services will be compensated, in case they are needed in 2024 as they were in the last presidential election year.

However, it isn’t only Democrats who side with leftist rioters against the rest of us. Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) infamously marched with a Black Lives Matter mob. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) was instrumental in establishing Juneteenth a.k.a. George Floyd Day as a national holiday to reward the rioters with a celebration of their viewpoint. This obscenity passed the Senate unanimously.

“When a people have been subject to decades of apartheid and unimaginable violence, their resistance must not be condemned, but understood as a desperate act of self-defense.”

Speaking of unimaginable violence, among the horrors inflicted last weekend, Palestinian terrorists paraglided into a music festival to rape and murder unsuspecting youth. Black Lives Matter celebrated the atrocity with this:

This is true regarding the thugs inflicting the violence. Welfare breeds dysfunctional societies. Dysfunctional societies breed monsters.

For a brief moment, it seemed Europe might snatch away the welfare teat that makes possible a society that would democratically elect Hamas. But moonbattery prevailed; the flow of free money will continue, guaranteeing more dysfunction and more bloodshed.

There is no reason to believe that BLM “activists” will not do to average Americans what Hamas does to average Israelis, assuming they graduate from random looting and vandalism.

The showering of free money upon Black Lives Matter vermin as a reward for rioting isn’t limited to festering hellholes like Philadelphia and the New York. Denver joins in:

Denver will hand over nearly $5 million to protesters who participated in 2020 demonstrations after the death of George Floyd after settling a class-action lawsuit on Aug. 23 that alleged they were selectively targeted for violating curfew, according to the court document.

You want selectively targeted? Try the January 6 protesters who watched leftists riot throughout the country for months on end with minimal consequences, but then were thrown into solitary confinement for trespassing in the People’s House, their crime being protesting against election fraud rather than whiteness.

The lawsuit, filed in November 2021 by seven protesters, alleged that more than 300 people were arrested for violating the curfew. The settlement awarded over $4.7 million to the protesters and promised that the city would not enforce future curfews against persons engaging in First Amendment activity.

Note that the rioters are explicitly rewarded for breaking the law. The money comes from the pockets of the law-abiding.

Don’t expect this to apply if there is another Covid crackdown and people want to protest lockdowns and mask mandates.

Not even the most cretinous sociopath could fail to notice the bright green light. The objective of going out their way to encourage, facilitate, justify, and now financially reward rioters is obvious: our rulers want more riots. According to a new database by the conservative Claremont Institute, the collapsed bank donated or pledged to donate nearly $74 million to groups related to the Black Lives Matter movement. …

Two months after racially charged riots led to the most destructive outbreak of American political upheaval in more than a century, the bank joined the chorus of corporate firms touting their commitment to so-called “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

Giving money to Black Lives Matter makes clear what the DEI duckspeak actually means. BLM is a terrorist group that caused up to $2 billion in damages to advance an ideology based on black supremacism, Marxism, sexual depravity, and the destruction of the nuclear family. Its immediate objective during the riots that Silicon Valley Bank rewarded with $73,450,000 was to abolish local police.

Despite the money vanishing in a puff of smoke, BLM was successful. Local police were not actually abolished, but defunding, demonization, and demoralization marginalized them via the Ferguson Effect. Springfield police are investigating a report from Kenwood Elementary School that allegedly involved several students and a racial incident.

It happened last Friday morning during recess.

The school principal told officers that a group of Black students gathered several white [capitalization as in original] students on a spot of the playground “and forced them to state, ‘Black Lives Matter,’ against their will,” the report stated.

The European equivalent would be German kids forcing Jewish kids to say “Heil Hitler.”

The principal said a few of the students who tried to avoid the situation were “chased down and escorted, dragged or carried” back to the spot on the playground, and one student was punched in the head by one of the suspects, according to the report.

Thankfully, the principal was unwoke enough to acknowledge the incident. Others would have covered it up.

As the kids grow, so will the level of violence — not because it had to be this way, but due to social engineering. It is inconceivable that the architects and evangelists of Critical Race Theory in academia and media had no idea where it would lead.

Hannah Meyer, the director of policing and public safety at the conservative Manhattan Institute, who worked in the NYPD’s Intelligence Bureau for five years, believes that the bloody trend was spurred on by the Black Lives Matter protests that began after the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014 and Freddy Grey in Baltimore, Maryland at the hands of police.

Then the exploitation of George Floyd’s fentanyl overdose splashed gasoline onto the flames.

Criminal justice reform has also exacerbated violence by releasing dangerous criminals onto the streets.

The blood is on the hands not only of Black Lives Matter, but of the liberal establishment for promoting its sociopathic agenda.

Having largely caused this crisis, liberals want to address it by disarming law-abiding citizens, leaving them defenseless in the face of emboldened criminals who will of course remain armed. The activist-driven curriculum for the Week of Action, which kicked off Monday, is based off the 13 “Black Lives Matter Guiding Principles.” Those principles include a commitment to restorative justice, being transgender affirming and queer affirming, creating space for black families that is “free from patriarchal practices,” and “the disruption of Western nuclear family dynamics and a return to the ‘collective village’ that takes care of each other.”

Depraved variants of critical theory created by the gibbering lunatics who infest academia are stripped down to child-friendly versions suitable for inculcation.

The Week of Action also includes a list of four national demands: end zero-tolerance discipline policies; mandate black history and ethnic studies; hire more black teachers; and fund counselors, not cops, according to a “starter kit” on the Black Lives Matter at School website.

No doubt kids will be encouraged to agitate on behalf of these demands. Abolishing disciplinary policies is sure to appeal to youths with behavioral problems who prevent others from learning in a secure environment.

Children might demand to be regarded as a cat — or a walrus.

Other aspects of BLM ideology are no less harmful. The nuclear family is downgraded to the level of other living arrangements. After all, “there are lots of different kinds of families.”

The draft resolution for transferring the property to Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County (BLMSKC) included a July 1 effective date, and Durkan’s office subsequently discussed the possibility with the nonprofit, which at one point pushed to remake the building as a hub for public health and community care.

As it turns out, July 1 was the day the police reclaimed the East Precinct, after abandoning it on June 8.

The building is worth $millions, but apparently BLM had not yet acquired its extravagant taste for acquiring property.

In a recent deposition, former Deputy Mayor Casey Sixkiller said the Durkan administration nixed the East Precinct transfer possibility after the activists decided they didn’t want the property.

Where was the federal government while mobs of thugs were taking over police stations? Keeping out, at the request of local Democrat authorities. As the BBC reported in June 2020:

State authorities in the north-western US state of Washington have hit back after President Donald Trump threatened to “take back” a police-free district controlled by protesters in Seattle.

Governor Jay Inslee said Mr Trump should stay out of the state’s business, and Seattle’s mayor said any invasion of the city would be illegal.

Democrat policy has predictably resulted in an explosion of violent crime. Democrats control the White House now. Biden’s press secretary sneers at us for believing that crime is a problem.

The nonprofit organization listed a nonexistent address on its 2019 IRS 990 form, and a visit to the similarly named address listed on a credit monitoring report (which has the same street number but a different spelling for the street and the wrong ZIP code) came up empty.

BLM’s lack of address came to light while the Washington Examiner was trying to obtain the organization’s tax returns for 2020. It was eventually told that Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation does “not maintain a permanent office.”

At least some of the money has been tracked down. Maybe BLM will open a main office in Toronto:

Canadian Black Lives Matter activists are furious over the group’s recent $8.1 million cash purchase of a mansion in downtown Toronto that once served as the headquarters of the Communist Party of Canada.

The U.S. charity that serves as the face of the BLM movement provided the bulk of the funding for the purchase of the 10,000-square-foot property in July.

Instead of answering the questions of volunteer activists, BLM Canada tried to get them to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

Meanwhile, board members decline to say who controls BLM’s $60 million bankroll:

BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors appointed two activists [Makani Themba and Monifa Bandele] to serve as the group’s senior directors following her resignation in May amid scrutiny over her personal finances. But both quietly announced in September that they never took the jobs due to disagreements with BLM. They told the Washington Examiner they don’t know who now leads the nation’s most influential social justice organization. …

And neither would say who served on the council. …

The two remaining BLM board members, Shalomyah Bowers and Raymond Howard, did not return numerous requests for comment asking who has been in charge of BLM and its money since Cullors left the charity in May.

Bowers appears to be an experienced social justice grifter:

Bowers served as the treasurer for multiple activist organizations run by Cullors, including BLM PAC and a Los Angeles-based jail reform group that paid Cullors $20,000 a month and dropped nearly $26,000 for “meetings” at a luxury Malibu beach resort in 2019.

CharityWatch Executive Director Laurie Styron describes Black Lives Matter:

“Like a giant ghost ship full of treasure drifting in the night with no captain, no discernible crew, and no clear direction.”

Israel does not occupy Gaza. Being “anti-occupation” in this context means being opposed to Jews living in Israel. The “apartheid” rhetoric implies that Israel should suffer the same fate as South Africa, a First World country that was reduced to poverty and tyranny. This is to be accomplished by demographic warfare, flooding the country with Arabs the way the Biden Regime has been flooding the USA with vast numbers of needy Third Worlders from Central America.

[T]he Chief was anxious to excuse the rioters. “You have to understand the situation,” urged the Chief. “We have to negotiate with these people. Do you expect us to mass arrest these protesters? It was clear all along that the Derek Chauvin trial was not a legal proceeding but a political spectacle. Two of the charges were preposterous, and there was never any chance that he would receive a fair trial in a venue where everyone knew that the city would be burned down by leftist thugs if they did not reach the desired verdict. Powerful Democrat Maxine Waters actually traveled to Minneapolis to inflame the mob and to clarify its demands. The President of the United States was irresponsible enough to weigh in. We already knew it was a travesty of justice. Now we learn that one of the jurors, Brandon Mitchell, was a Black Lives Matter activist before the trial began — that is, he was essentially part of the same lynch mob that terrorized the other jurors into reaching their quick decision:

During jury selection, Brandon Mitchell — a 31-year-old high school basketball coach who was known as Juror #52 before speaking publicly last week — told Judge Peter Cahill that he only heard “basic info” about the high-profile case, and was certainly not aware of any information that would hinder his ability to serve as an impartial juror.

However, Mitchell was pictured last August wearing a T-shirt that included references to George Floyd’s death and Black Lives Matter.

The picture shows Mitchell wearing a shirt with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s picture surrounded by the words “GET YOUR KNEE OFF OUR NECKS” and “BLM.” He is also seen wearing a Black Lives Matter baseball cap.

An equivalent would be if an O.J. Simpson juror had been photographed wearing KKK robes and burning a cross on someone’s yard — the main difference being that O.J. was guilty.

Chauvin has filed a motion for a new trial which does not explicitly mention Mitchell evidently lying on the jury questionnaire.

It is doubtful that Chauvin directly caused Floyd’s death. The manslaughter charge may have had merit. The second- and third-degree murder charges did not. No matter; Chauvin would have been found guilty no matter what the charge. He was not being tried as an individual who committed an individual act, but as a symbol of what people like Mitchell fanatically hate.

What is on trial now is our system of justice. Can it withstand the onslaught of Black Lives Matter moonbattery? Does it still matter whether defendants are innocent or guilty, or only whether they are politically favored or disfavored? Until Chauvin gets the fair trial that all Americans deserve, we will have to assume the latter.

This has been made official in Rochester, Minnesota, where “Black Lives Matter” and related slogans are deemed to be government speech:

The Rochester Public Schools board voted unanimously Tuesday evening to make several phrases and images, including “Black Lives Matter,” government speech, meaning the school can’t be held liable for allowing those views while not allowing opposing views.

Rochester students get an education in how the First Amendment works under liberal rule.

By declaring certain phrases involving the Black Lives Matter movement as government speech, the board is protecting itself from legal action because it is allowing one type of speech, but not any speech in opposition to those phrases.

The phrases “Black Lives Matter,” “Brown Lives Matter,” “Indigenous Lives Matter,” et cetera all get the government speech designation. Needless to say, “All Lives Matter” is not government speech; it is thoughtcrime.

The rainbow flag also qualifies as government speech, presumably because Big Government advocates what it represents.

“It is not about telling students what to think and what they can and cannot say, but it does give our district and our staff the authority to speak out about these lives that matter,” Jean Marvin, RPS board chair, said.

It is unclear what happens to students who speak out about lives that do not matter. The main objective is to get it through to parents that Black Lives Matter/critical race theory propaganda will be preached in the classroom whether they like it or not, so they can keep their objections to themselves.
