Sympathizer Ron Johnson Put in Charge of Restraining Ferguson Mob

Prior to calling in the National Guard, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon attempted to pander to the lawless mobs that have been exploiting the Michael Brown spectacle by putting Captain Ron Johnson of the Missouri Highway Patrol in charge of restraining them.

Johnson promptly defused the situation by reminding the public that there is no reason to believe Officer Darren Wilson acted inappropriately when he used lethal force to subdue the violent criminal Michael Brown.

Just kidding. Like the media and the federal government, Johnson has been fanning the flames by blaming the police for trying to maintain order:

Speaking at Greater Grace Church, where more than a thousand people gathered to remember Brown, Johnson said meeting the boy’s family “brought tears to my eyes.

“To the family of Michael Brown, I want you to know that my heart goes out to you and that I am sorry,” he said to thundering applause. “I wear this uniform, so I’m standing up here to say I’m sorry.

“This is my neighborhood. You are my family. You are my friends and I am you,” Johnson said, appearing to tear up.

“When this is over, I am going to go in my son’s room. My black son,” Johnson told the cheering crowd. “Who wears his pants sagging. Wears his hat cocked to the side. Got tattoos on his arms. But that’s my baby.”

Via The Last Refuge, here is Ron Johnson flashing gang signs with one of his homeboys:

Let’s all congratulate Governor Nixon on his great choice to reestablish civilization in Ferguson. Who could have guessed that it would fail, and he would have to resort to the National Guard?

On a tip from Drury.

I’m told Johnson’s hand gesture is from the fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. I’m also told it is a gang symbol that translates to “What’s up Blood?” Like Fox News says, “We report, you decide.”
