A Dose of Moral Clarity

Despite all the sanctimony, liberalism has zero moral validity. The esteemed countermoonbat Dinesh D’Souza uses ObamaCare to illustrate:

On a tip from DaddyOD.

Following D’Souza’s metaphor: America is about to reach a point where there are so many people sitting in the wagon that there will be no one left willing to pull it.

  2. dan says:

the problem has become : too many in the wagon that should be and are perfectly capable of helping pull the load

In the war of ideas against liberalism, there is no moral imperative superior to that of individualism.

However, expressions of such morality as we see here, come as a one-way conversation since by simple merit of enormous numbers, liberals no longer have to participate in the conversation.

The passing of Andrew Brietbart and Christopher Hitchens is regrettable. They made immense contributions in trying to hold liberals accountable to at least a minimal level of morality.

I often wonder whether the fraudulent election of BO would have been different if they had survived.

Actually what D’Souza didn’t follow through with is that the wagon will eventually be in a position of being pulled up a steep hill. The handful that are still pulling the wagon will either just let go or find themselves being dragged down the hill at an ever accelerating rate until the wagon disintegrates with mass casualties at the bottom of the hill.

  5. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

Actually, Greece is providing the answer to what happens in the end.
The wagon pullers will eventually be burned at the stake for their trouble by the entitled Marxist hoards.

You are partially correct. Greece is the model for civic unrest as the U.S. economy lurches forward into fiscal collapse.

The viciousness of the unions in trying to protect their “right” to take money out of another man’s pocket and put it into their own, is just the first sign of how bad it will get.

But Greece stops short as a model in that there are no countries that will bail out the U.S., all the while tolerating repeated loan defaults.

We will have no choice but to sell assets to China -as we are currently doing.

Some Atlases may need to be convinced to shrug, they’re such good boys.

  9. Hail Emperor Hussein the Messiah! says:

It is going to be so fun to rub the revenge voters face in the shit of their vote. Get ready for the worst 4 year period this nation has ever seen.

The line for EU (German) bailouts grows longer all the time
I have read many a European Socialist over the years state that the Euro zone was created in part “to prevent another holocaust”
But what if Germany packs up and leaves ?

Meanwhile we will keep the presses rolling and feeding the stampers until they are wiping their backsides with greenbacks in Zimbabwe

Hillary Clinton. Must testify about what she knows. Could negatively impact Obama and give her a better shot at 2016. Concussion. Blood clot. Bill Casey-style emergency brain surgery. Bye bye, Hill.

(Tell Vince Foster hello when you see him.)

  12. Dr. 9 says:

And when there’s no one left to pull the wagon? What do we do then, or do we even care?

That’s perfect! Obama comes along on a horse – perhaps a white horse. But since he hates guns, maybe he will be carrying a bow, instead of a gun:

“The first horseman appears in verse 2:

“I looked up and saw a white horse. Its rider carried a bow, and a crown was placed on his head. He rode out to win many battles and gain the victory.” Revelation 6:2 Throughout history this has been properly interpreted as a passage referring to the Antichrist. But what does the symbolic language of this verse tell us about the man of perdition? Several things are immediately noticeable:

    1) He rides a white horse. This is commonly used in scripture to identify a conqueror. So it is appropriate to view the Antichrist as a conqueror.

    2) A crown is placed on his head. The Antichrist is either the king of a nation(s), or an elected or appointed head of state(s).

    3) He rides out to win many battles and gain the victory. The Antichrist goes out into the world with every intention to conquer it and gain victory.

    4) He carries a bow. The Antichrist wields the traditional weapons of war, but in this passage, he is not viewed as using deadly force to conquer (no arrow accompanies his bow).”
