About That Wall

Hopefully nobody was taking all the rhetoric about finally completing a border wall too seriously. Via Trumpbart:

Federal funding for one of President Donald Trump’s premier policy proposals may be excluded from the House GOP’s budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018.

House Democrats, along with a few House Republicans, are working around-the-clock to make sure funding for the estimated $12 billion border wall is not factored into the GOP budget, according to a report by The Hill.

“With Democrats united against new wall funding, it’s unlikely the Republicans have the votes to get it through and prevent a government shutdown,” The Hill report stated.

Trump had asked for $999 million for the wall, a drop in the bucket compared to the total cost (actually estimated to run as high as $40 billion). But not even that token amount will be included in the budget, lest there be a dreaded shutdown. Despite his party controlling both houses of Congress, the wall seems unlikely to materialize.

Now for the good news. Trump’s promised $trillion infrastructure spending spree — coming only 8 years after Obama’s $832 billion “stimulus” porkfest and only 18 months after a $305 billion 5-year transportation bill — could wind up in a ditch too.

Not likely to happen.

Good. Less spending = less government. Less government is what will truly Make America Great Again.

How can you blame The Donald for the traitors, cucks and RINOs infesting the GOP?

Speaking of Breitbart, looks like little Jared can’t handle the heat:

Employees at Breitbart News have been asked by senior editors to
refrain from writing stories critical of Jared Kushner, two people
familiar with the matter told Business Insider.

The news comes after The New York Times reported
over the weekend that Kushner had complained to President Donald Trump
about the negative coverage he was receiving from the far-right website.

    LOL @ “far right”..

Ohhh, wait, you mean the D flavored Progressives will oppose something? Well then we better roll over and show our belly and just not even try. Standard Retardlican strategy.

They aren’t even sellouts, they are enemy collaborators, the Progressive 5th column. Until this filth is eliminated, nothing will ever change. Let them go be Democrats, it’s where they belong. Yes the Democrats are a problem but without the complicit R flavored Progressives they could not get even half as far as they have.

Time to place blame where it belongs, on the imbeciles who continue to vote for these traitors. You voted for McConnell, you are a traitor. You voted for RyanO, you are a traitor. You worked to get the Retardlican Progressives elected in your state and across the country, you are a traitor. With very few exceptions, people like Mike Lee, and most members of the Freedom Caucus for example, all the rest should be swinging from lamp posts in every state in the nation.

A Progressive Democrat like First Son-in-Law Kushner would consider Breitbart to be far right because he is a dirty leftist scumbag along with his GW partner in crime Ivanka.

How nice after all the vitriol of the election the Progressives have those two plus Soros operative Munchkin, Goldman Sachs Keynesian’s Cohn and Bannon to advance their anti-American agenda.

With advisors like that, the American people don’t need any more enemies.

As during previous administrations, the President,as part of his duty to enforce the law,can move funds around to meet emergencies.Border wall funding is an emergency.John McCain’s,Nancy Pelosi’s,and Chuck Schumer’s pet projects back home are not.Look around in the backstabbers’ districts and the federal projects therein. You might find some real money to re-distribute to the national security project at the border.

  10. Artfuldgr says:

problem is that he wants to issue bonds and the people here and elsewhere think thats the same as takeing tax money… its not its putting the investment into the hands of investors… not taxes…

  11. […] we will have to give up on finally completing the border wall, and not only because Republicans won’t finance it. Turns out the wall would be hurtful to the planet, because migratory birds and bats would be […]
