Actor Jay Mohr Uses Boston Bombing as Pretext to Attack Right to Bear Arms

For sheer shamelessness in political exploitation of the Boston Marathon bombing, not even the risible attempt by Nancy Pelosi’s butler Steny Hoyer to blame it on the Sequestrocalypse can top moonbat actor Jay Mohr, who brandishes the bloodshed as evidence that the precious Second Amendment must be abolished. He tweeted this the night of the bombing:

Then he doubled down with this:

Mohron should be put in touch with Big Sis at once. He has found an ingenious solution to terrorism, Islamic and otherwise. Simply disarm law-abiding citizens, and the “culture of violence” will disappear, leaving us all safe forever after — like the citizens of Mexico, where virtually no private citizens own firearms legally, and 50,000 people have died in frequently terroristic drug-related violence over the past 6 years.

Typical Liberal – one of many…

A Washington DC airport ticket agent offers some examples of why the US is in so much trouble:

    1. I had a New Hampshire Congresswoman (Carol Shea-Porter) ask for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn’t get messed up by being near the window. (On an airplane!)

    2. I got a call from a Kansas Congressman’s (Moore) staffer (Howard Bauleke), who wanted to go to Cape Town . I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then he interrupted me with, ”I’m not trying to make you look stupid, but Cape Town is in Massachusetts ..”

Without trying to make him look stupid, I calmly explained, ”Cape Cod is in Massachusetts , Cape Town is in South Africa ..”
    His response — click..

    3. A senior Vermont Congressman (Bernie Sanders) called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando . He said he was expecting an ocean-view room. I tried to explain that’s not possible, since Orlando is in the middle of the state.

He replied, ‘Don’t lie to me!, I looked on the map, and Florida is a very THIN state!!” (OMG)

    4. I got a call from a lawmaker’s wife (Landra Reid) who asked, ”Is it possible to see England from Canada ?”

    I said, ”No.”

She said, ”But they look so close on the map” (OMG, again!)

    5. An aide for a cabinet member (Janet Napolitano) once called and asked if he could rent a car in Dallas .. I pulled up the reservation and noticed he had only a 1-hour layover in Dallas … When I asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, ”I heard Dallas was a big airport, and we will need a car to drive between gates to save time.” (Aghhhh)

    6. An Illinois Congresswoman (Jan Schakowsky) called last week. She needed to know how it was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 a.m., and got to Chicago at 8:33 a.m.

I explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois , but she couldn’t understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told her the plane went fast, and she bought that.

    7. A New York lawmaker, (Jerrold Nadler) called and asked, ”Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?” I said, ‘No, why do you ask?’

He replied, ”Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said (FAT), and I’m overweight. I think that’s very rude!”

After putting him on hold for a minute, while I looked into it. (I was dying laughing). I came back and explained the city code for Fresno , Ca. is (FAT – Fresno Air Terminal), and the airline was just putting a destination tag on his luggage..

    8. A Senator John Kerry aide (Lindsay Ross) called to inquire about a trip package to Hawaii . After going over all the cost info, she asked, ”Would it be cheaper to fly to California and then take the train to Hawaii ?”

    9. I just got off the phone with a freshman Congressman, Bobby Bright from Ala. who asked, ”How do I know which plane to get on?”

I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he replied, ”I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these planes have numbers on them.”

    10. Senator Dianne Feinstein called and said, ”I need to fly to Pepsi-Cola , Florida . Do I have to get on one of those little computer planes?”

I asked if she meant fly to Pensacola and fly on a commuter plane.

    She said, ”Yeah, whatever, smarty!”

    11. Mary Landrieu, La. Senator, called and had a question about the documents she needed in order to fly to China . After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded her that she needed a visa. “Oh, no I don’t. I’ve been to China many times and never had to have one of those.”

I double checked and sure enough, her stay required a visa. When I told her this she said, ”Look, I’ve been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express!”

    12. A New Jersey Congressman (John Adler) called to make reservations, ”I want to go from Chicago to Rhino, New York .”

I was at a loss for words. Finally, I said, ”Are you sure that’s the name of the town?”
‘Yes, what flights do you have?” replied the man.
After some searching, I came back with, ”I’m sorry, sir, I’ve looked up every airport code in the country and can’t find a rhino anywhere.”

”The man retorted, ”Oh, don’t be silly! Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!”

So I scoured a map of the state of New York and finally offered, ”You don’t mean Buffalo , do you?”

The reply? ”Whatever! I knew it was a big animal.”

Now you know why the Government is in the shape it’s in!

I don’t write it, folks. I just offer it for your consideration. Like manure, you just gotta spread it around.

Great points. My response to him:

@jaymohr37 If you want to stop violence then oppose abortion. It kills 3,000+ per day while 2nd Amendment saves lives. #gosnell

  5. Lurker says:

So, how does Mohr explain the fact that the 2nd Amendment has been in the Constitution for 200+ years, but the culture of violence has only existed in this country since Lyndon Johnson was in office and the ACLU and every social worker in the country demanded that we “understand” criminals rather than locking them up for life? Prior to the existence of the Phil Donahue types, we didn’t have school shootings and gang bangers understood that their time on earth was limited.

  7. xX_Shoot-Sharper_Xx says:

THIS WAS A FALSE FLAG ATTACK.The purpose is to begin the systematic disarming of America. Authoritieswill claim the bombs were made with black powder sold over the counter at a gun store. They will ban it. They will say powder can be accquired from ammunition rounds. Restrictions will be placed on quantity of ammo that can be sold and it will be taxed. We cannot stop this, but we can buy ammo NOW and prepare for what’s coming. I’m ready.

  12. Sam Adams says:

Sic liter pressure cookers were used to contain the explosives. If only we had limited pressure cookers to a maximum of 2 liters (after all; who needs a six liter pressure cooker) maybe this wouldn’t have happened.

Six liter pressure cookers should be outlawed; people eat too much anyway.

  13. GoinSane says:

    @ Lurker – ditto

And what does a gun have to do with violence? Nothing! If today’s criminals didn’t have guns, they would use knives, hammers, bats, chains, or even just their fists. There would not be any less violence.

All a gun does is help even the playing field.

  14. xxX_Shoot-Sharper_Xx says:

Mr. Adams, I find your light-hearted joking does not grant this situation the concern it deserves.

There WILL be agressive action by the government to ban arms after this, and it won’t be 6 liter pressure cookers. Will you make jokes then, or take action?

A STABBING last year in New York brought a call to BAN GUNS.

This is “our government” we’re talking about.

    @ TED:

At first, I saw your lengthy comment and said “naw,.. too long to read”. Then scurried down the other comments. But as I was perusing the other comments I thought to myself, ” Why would anyone have that much to say about this topic?”

I forced myself to read every bit of your comment and I was not disappointed. (not disappointed in your writing skills but very disappointed in our inept government representatives who on a daily basis boast how much they know more of what is good for us than we do!)

Thanks for your effort and your informative comment.

    I suggest everyone read it.

  23. Bob Roberts says:

    Oh this is unbelievable.
From cameras of the locations, authorities now have a description of a suspect, or at least his clothes.

The man sought as a possible suspect is a white male, wearing white baseball cap on backwards, a gray hoodie and a black jacket.

I expect “white” will eventually be altered somewhat, though the left is no doubt wetting themselves over this at this point. Tingles up their legs and all that.

If it turns out to be a light skinned Islamist or perhaps even a light-skinned American-African that would be pretty funny.

Mr. Adams, I find your light-hearted joking does not grant this situation the concern it deserves.

Light hearted? It makes exactly as much sense to ban pressure cookers above a certain size as it does to ban gun magazines which hold more than a certain number of rounds of ammo.

As to what I have been doing to prepare for whatever action is needed, let’s review:

    1. I have befriended our local police department for the past 5 years.
    2. Last week I wrote to both of my senators to encourage them to filibuster against the gun bill in the senate.
    3. I just ordered a one year supply of food for the wife and I, to go along with our already significant food stores.
    4. Last month the wife and I bought two evil black guns. They join the pistols, 12 gauge shotguns, and bolt action rifle that already reside at my home.
    5. This morning I purchased some more ammo for my evil black buns.
    6. I’m looking for a bolt carrier group to finish my evil black gun under construction. I believe this gun will become a “loaner” to one of my adult children.
    7. I continue to make payments on some farmland in the country for my “retirement” home.
    8. This past month I bought a red dot sight, back-up iron sights, a holographic sight and an illuminated telescopic sight.
    9. Two weeks ago I took my wife, son, and grandson out shooting. This past week I took my nephew out to the local range.

So, sharp shooter….I guess I’ve just been too busy making jokes to take action. Do you have any suggestions?

  29. Vic Kelley says:

    “2nd Amendment must go”

Wrong Mr. Mohr. Wrong. We need it to defend ourselves against people like you who think you’re better than us and want to impose your will upon us.

Mohr says our culture must change. Screw him and others like him such as barack obama and Joe Biden.
