Animal Rights Kook Throws Puppies Out of Moving Car

By now we are all used to the “do as I say, not as I do” mentality of liberals. Yet their hypocrisy never ceases to astound:

Officials in Torrance County, N.M. have arrested a self-proclaimed animal rights activist on charges of animal cruelty and burglary after she was seen throwing two puppies out the window of a moving vehicle.

According to Friday’s KRQE News, the culprit, 59-year-old Debra Swenerton, is also suspected of being a repeat dog-napper of dozens of pets in the area. …

The authorities had suspected that Swenerton was behind the 60 plus dog-nappings in the area because she would contact the police to report cases of suspected dog neglect or abuse.

Explains Sheriff Heath White:

“She believes in her world that these dogs are being abused. These dogs are not being abused. They are being kept and cared for.”

Regarding the puppies she chucked out the car window, the moonbat must have thought the dogs’ lives were not worth living. Government apparatchiks take a similar attitude toward the lives of some children under socialized medicine.

Again we see that nothing is more dangerous than a sanctimonious do-gooder.

Swenerton ought to work for PETA.

On a tip from Chris.

Abortion, killing puppies, denying food and water to sick children. What is this preoccupation libs/progs/commies seem to have with death and killing.

What they would protest being done to a convicted murderer they would cheerfully inflict on babies, puppies and old folks.

What a bunch of weird twisted perverts.

How long is that damned pendulum and how long will it take to swing back to normalcy?

Save that for Obama, the CONFIRMED dog eater. Which explains his long-standing hesitation to get a dog into the White House, a total WELCH on his promise he made to his kids… Ooohh… the sweet temptation.. to order the White House chef: “I can’t take it anymore!!! Time to fry up Bo!!!”

Look…for whatever reason, PETA is full of morons. It goes with liberal territory.

Admittedly, PETA doesn’t usually know what to fight for and what not to fight for. They get confused about mounting a campaign to save some microfish somewhere, and ignore pigs begin thrown in an industrial shredder by muslims for fun and profit.

But that’s bc PETA is run by liberals and liberals are stupid.

But in this case, PETA came to the rescue to stop the torture and killing of kittens and puppies for the vile purpose of making animal “snuff films”. Their actions led to an indictment.

PETA is not 50/50 in doing good to incompetent things, yes. But we would be better off to be less focused on PETA in particular, and more focused on the decent and proper stewardship of animals in general.

“ was created in July of 2004 by the Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF). According to it’s website, they also “stand up to the food police, environmental scaremongers, neo-prohibitionists, meddling bureaucrats, and other self-anointed saints who claim to know what’s best for you”. They even feature a “Daily Headlines” service which provides “valuable information” about “these activists, and analysis of their activities.” They “welcome your support” and “financial contribution”.[1]
PETA has since created a response site, PETA Saves, which discusses Richard Berman and the CCF’s smear campaign.
CCF is an industry-funded organization and front group for the restaurant, alcohol, tobacco and other industries. It is registered as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization under the IRS code 501(c)(3). Over 40% of the group’s 2005 expenditure was paid to Rick Berman’s public relations company, Berman & Co. for “management services”. [2]
CCF provides virtually no referencing, yet their statements are circulated by other industry groups, animal breeders and brokers, news wires and even some media outlets. CCF does not link back to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), nor any sites of groups or individuals purportedly being “exposed”. Richard Berman and CCF clients have included Phillip Morris, Monsanto, Tyson Foods, Dean Foods and Coca Cola [3]. Tyson is also a major supplier of restaurant chains, including Kentucky Fried Chicken [4] and McDonalds. [5] Monsanto contracts product toxicity testing on animals out to Huntingdon Life Sciences. [6] All of these corporations, as well as Phillip Morris contract laboratory Covance Laboratories, have subjects of campaigns and investigations by PETA and/or other groups.”

  18. fubar says:

Humane society is not much better.

“HSUS spent less than 1 percent of its budget on grants to pet shelters.
Meanwhile, HSUS had fundraising-related expenses of $48.1 million, or a whopping 38 percent of its total budget. If that doesn’t tell you the real priorities of HSUS, nothing will.
HSUS also reported paying about $333,000 to Infocision Management, whose questionable practices were exposed by Bloomberg this fall.
HSUS added another $2.4 million to its pension plan, bringing the total to about $17 million since Wayne Pacelle took over as CEO in 2004.
Speaking of Pacelle, he pulled in just under $300,000 in compensation. That brings his total haul since joining HSUS to about $3 million.
In all, HSUS had 24 people who received more than $100,000 in compensation.”

Does ANYONE still believe that these people can be reasoned with or bargained with or trusted in any way?

Liberals are targets, nothing more. Every one of them that dies makes the world a better place.
