I scanned the posts the last two days on this and I have come to the conclusion that most Americans have no effing clue how Social (in)Security works. Because of that I am sure the wailing and gnashing of teeth is rising to biblical proportions. *sigh*

Well put Chuck. A lot of people don't seem to know how Social Security works and thus Obama is able to easily lie to the masses with little reproach.

Wouldn't it be great if a few large companies would call Obama's bluff on this? For instance, some organizations that cater to the elderly, or disabled, or really anyone in America, could tell Obama that if he holds up any Social Security checks or veteran's pay, they will either stop withholding federal payroll taxes from their employees' wages or refuse to remit the taxes to the Treasury Dept. until the Social Security/veterans' checks are sent out.

As far as I can see, there's only one explanation for Obama's successful attempts at destroying everything good. The following was revealed in the Holy Bible through a dream that Daniel had:

Well, Rosie, if you're talking Impeachment, I think a "President Biden" would be much, much worse than a "short term inconvenience", even it's for less than a year. Besides, even if we had a GOP Senate majority, no impeachment would succeed. Considering that the SS checks (welfare, food stamps ect)(altho he is not going to stop those checks)arereceived on the first, I wonder how this will actually happen? could he (el prezidenta) be speaking of the Sept payments? and I sure would not want to piss off the guys who have those guns, (our military) but he sure thinks it is ok.
Looking at the numbers, after paying out to SS medicare/medicade, vets there is still almost 40 billion left in the "coffers" to pay his pet projects.
it is surely a case of not wanting to stop spending. Maybe he should go to those complusive shopping addiction meetings?

All presidents lie. That's why I don't trust the government at all. The government and politicians are ALL liars!! I love my country but I think we are ALL better off without a hoard of lying politicians. And whats more sad it the people that just hates the man because he's black? It baffles me that people are always badmouthing President Obama. I believe this country had a huge deficit prior to him coming in to office. Since Obama has been in office there has been so much bad-mouthing against him and it sickens me. Let us not forget the prior administration's mistakes. And for all those people that are quoting scripture, I'm wondering what God thinks of you right now. And I'll bet you're a Christian. You probably need to go back to scripture and read it again. And the person that asked if I would trust him with my retirement maybe you should read the Ryan Plan. All the republicans that say they will not raise the debt ceiling are hypocrites. Why is it that the little people always need to suffer when political problems happen, money problems, elderly issues,food issues? we cant help it if we get sick,hungry or hurt,we need our money just like everyone else to pay our bills ect. someone should be checking how many people are frauding the govmnt. than there will be money for the honest people who are truely sick,hungry and poor.

Well I hope everyone understands that if obama does holds back social security it wont juts be the elderly but also the mentally and physiacly disabled will be shut out as well.
