Arnold Schwarzenegger Accuses Energy Companies of Murder, Threatens Lawfare

Never go full moonbat. It isn’t dignified. Arnold Schwarzenegger has gone full moonbat:

Schwarzenegger’s next mission: taking oil companies to court “for knowingly killing people all over the world.”

He is in talks with private law firms to launch a lawfare campaign against the people who keep our homes warm, make our cars go, keep the lights on, allow manufacturing and refrigeration, et cetera.

“This is no different from the smoking issue. The tobacco industry knew for years and years and years and decades, that smoking would kill people, would harm people and create cancer, and were hiding that fact from the people and denied it. Then eventually they were taken to court and had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars because of that,” Schwarzenegger said. “The oil companies knew from 1959 on, they did their own study that there would be global warming happening because of fossil fuels, and on top of it that it would be risky for people’s lives, that it would kill.”

The politically driven theory of catastrophic anthropogenic global warming that his raving rests upon can easily be debunked by comparing rising CO2 levels with essentially flat global temperatures.

Ahnold is right that this is similar to the smoking issue, whereby greedy lawyers and bureaucrats shook down the tobacco industry for $zillions. But there is a major difference: the fossil fuel industry is not harmful to our health; on the contrary, it is indispensable.

Imagine the misery that would ensue if every demonized fossil fuel company were sued out of existence overnight. The world economy would collapse. Most humans would be dead within a few years.

Do-gooder looters are going straight for the jugular now. They are no longer a pest; they are a menace.

The former Governator’s rhetoric is farther over the top than any of his action movies:

“I don’t think there’s any difference: If you walk into a room and you know you’re going to kill someone, it’s first degree murder; I think it’s the same thing with the oil companies.”

Then he ought to turn himself in for murder one. He used to brag about driving a hummer:

According to his ideology, it would have saved lives if he had used his Hummer for his daily commute as Governor — rather than taking a private jet:

Former GOP California governor and global warming activist Arnold Schwarzenegger came under fire for his near-daily private jet commute from his Brentwood [Los Angeles] home to the governor’s mansion in Sacramento. “The governor’s Gulf-stream jet does nearly as much damage to the environment in one hour as a small car does in a year,” the Los Angeles Times reported in 2008.

Too bad we can’t fuel the economy with B.S. Moonbats like Arnold Schwarzenegger could provide an endless supply.
