Atheists Attempt to Suppress Charlie Brown’s Christmas

Christianity is the foundation upon which our civilization was constructed. This is why totalitarian liberals will not rest until every trace of it has been eradicated — as is particularly obvious in the month leading to Christmas:

An atheist group is accusing an Arkansas grade school of violating students’ constitutional rights by inviting them to a performance of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at a local church.

Students at Terry Elementary School in Little Rock were invited to a performance of the show at Agape Church. Teachers informed parents in letters home that a school bus would shuttle children to and from the show, which would be performed on a school day, KARK 4 News reported.

Kids will need to pay $2 to cover the expense of the bus. Attendance is voluntary.

Nonetheless, the absurdly misnamed Arkansas Society of Freethinkers shrieks in outrage that “A Charlie Brown Christmas” has religious content — as evident in the word Christmas.

If the school doesn’t have funds to deal with legal bills, it will well be advised to send kids to a mosque to watch “A Charlie Brown Jihad” instead. No liberal “freethinkers” or their lawyers would object.

A militant Christ-hater holds forth.

On a tip from Wiggins.

If atheists truly believed that there was no God or Jesus, then what could possibly be the harm in letting people believe what they want.

In fact, by making such a big deal out of Christianity, atheists are admitting that they do know that there is a God, and their goal is to destroy Him.

It sure does take a lot of faith to be an atheist!

  2. Comrade J says:

Atheism is a religion. “Separation of Church and State” is not about removing religion from the government, it is about attempting to supplant Christianity with the cult rooting in Darwinism and Marxism.

  3. M. Wilson says:

To compound the stupidity, the key word here is “invited”. Invitations, unlike mandates, are voluntary. Anybody who does not want to take part in the performance or watch it does not have to. A voluntary event by definition cannot violate any right, including the mythical “right to not be offended”, because anybody who doesn’t like it can simply choose to do something else.

“Voluntary”, of course, isn’t in the Socialist vocabulary.

The people who run those organizations should be outted and publicly shamed, same with the people who fund these assholes.

Thank God someone is watching out for the children.

However, sadly the libtards HAVE managed to steal Christmas in fact. I’ve searched a local mall far and wide, every store, my, my.

The ONLY spot in the entire mall that has the word “Christmas” is a banner deliberatly hung over the Santa station by a local Christian radio station that says “Christmas music 24/7” basically. That’s it, in the entire mall.

A chat with a large chain store employee confrims too, they’re not to say Merry Christmas to customers either.

    Truly astonishing..

Christmas has stolen by the liberal grinches!

Funny how atheists don’t want people believing in what religions preach, but instead, want, in fact demand, you to believe in what they preach. Sounds like the new Fascism.

What with the economy being in tatters, and tens-of-millions of people out of work, i think it would be a good idea, and a great job creator, if we put a bounty on all atheists. Say, $100. per head? Not only would it give millions of people an opportunity to feed their families and pay their bills, but it would also put some fun and exceitement back into our everyday lives. Hell, who knows, we might even get one of those “reality” shows out of it.

Christmas play? Take a wild guess at who made a cameo as Judas the asshole disciple.

  9. KHarn says:

I’m going to check the post I made last night; the one where I asked ONCE AGAIN how the regressives are going to make atheists out of the muslims without violating their own “hate crime laws”.

I’ll never get an answer, but any response should be entertaining.

  10. James McEnanly says:

From the very beginning there were those who objected to the overtly religious message. CBS officials were horrified by Linus reading Luke 2:8-14 from the King James translation of the Bible, as well as the lack of canned laughter and the use of actual children to speak the lines, rather than adults. It was unlike anything then on the air If you wish to see the show, here is where you can buy it on Amazon

  11. Ummah Gummah says:

He won’t call it Christmas and the WH lists an event as “the Holidays” but HE HAS NO PROBLEMS INVITING MOSLEM BROTHER HOODS TO THE WHITE HOUSE FOR “iftar dinners”.

Some Christian he claims to be..

    God bless the Atheists.

  13. Noelegy says:

As I said on another site, now the atheists know how the rest of us feel when something TRULY inappropriate is presented to kids in schools, such as fisting, or praying to Allah.

  14. Noelegy says:

I saw a TV commercial for Academy Sports and Outdoor the other day, which referenced “Christmas”–not “holiday”–twice. I was pleasantly surprised. Shocked, actually.
