Charlton Heston Clobbers Jim Carrey From Beyond the Grave

Despite attempts by the liberal establishment to ignore or pervert Easter, normal Americans celebrated it in part by watching The Ten Commandments, a 1956 movie starring Charlton Heston that has been available on DVD or VHS for decades. There were 5.9 million viewers Saturday night. In contrast, shrill anti-gun moonbat Jim Carrey

just suffered another mega-flop last month with The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. After three weeks in release, Carrey’s big-budget comedy has grossed less than $21 million.

With ticket prices now averaging $7.96, that means Carrey’s latest big studio comedy has sold only 2.5 million tickets.

That is, a movie that has been replayed for generations beat Carrey’s new release by millions of viewers. Yet in his nasty video spitting venom at gun rights advocates, Carrey sings,

“Charlton Heston movies are no longer in demand.”

Once again, Hollyweird reveals that it has no clue what is going on outside its bubble of elitist moonbattery.

The classics prevail; trash goes in the garbage pail.

On a tip from dan.

Don’t you wish The Hayes Code was still in effect?

Opening sentence: “If motion pictures present stories that will affect lives for the better, they can become the most powerful force for the improvement of mankind.”

It’s worth reading at least the first page to see that once upon a time the movie industry had ethics and understood their responsibility to American culture.

    General Principles

    1. No picture shall be produced that will lower the moral standards of those who see it. Hence the sympathy of the audience should never be thrown to the side of crime, wrongdoing, evil or sin.

    2. Correct standards of life, subject only to the requirements of drama and entertainment, shall be presented.

    3. Law, natural or human, shall not be ridiculed, nor shall sympathy be created for its violation.

Who thinks Jim Carrey movies will have viewers in the millions 57 years later? Alright, maybe that’s not fair.

Who thinks Jim Carrey movies will have “a” viewer 57 years later?

  3. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

As a result of moonbats in control, in 57 years archeologists will dig up one of Jim Carrey’s movies, and they will be able to instantly explain our downfall

  4. Skyfall says:

“Those who shall not LIVE by the law…”

  5. Dr.9 says:

Ladies and Gentlemen, may i present to you the winner of the 2013 American Bullshit Award.

  6. James Whale says:

Who thinks Jim Carrey movies will have “a” viewer 57 years later?

The Truman Show – So good you cannot believe that Carrey is in it.

  7. The Meanie says:

Who cares about some washed up iceback herring choker from Canukistan. Jim Fairy did this to revive his so called career.

  8. Norm Jablonksi says:

I only like epic movies myself. Moses is certainly epic. Nothing Fire Marshall Bill has done will ever classify as epic. The spank you very much tagline hasn’t been heard in junior high schools since the early 90s there Jimmah.

  9. Blondie Smirks and Lights Up says:

“For, remember, if you die in prison, you will have built that prison. If your sons are again conscripted, you will have penned the writ. If a company of malignant men again assumes control of your lives, you will have given them that control…” –Taylor Caldwell,”The Devil’s Advocate”(1952) — pgs. 332 — 338

  10. True Blue says:

There is something deliciously ironic about a smug hypocrite who believes his neighbors should be stripped of the right to self defense being thoroughly whipped by a dead man. In his next role, he should fight off a zombie invasion with a water pistol -or would that offend his brain dead audiences?

  11. Doug says:

There is a reason “Carrey” rhymes with “fairy.”

has Gaylord Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Jimbo for hijacking HEE HAW to use in his effed up video yet?

  14. Max says:

No matter how popular to the masses or how prolific the films, eventually, having no talent will bite you in the ass.

Carey should consider himself duly bitten.

  15. Wilberforce says:

Xavier: Regarding the Hays Code, here’s a poignant, yet hilarious take on that from the one-and-only Michael Savage.

I see that Rebert REDfords criticly acclaimed movie THE HORSE WHISPRER was a big flop when it came out and is consited his all tome WORST MOVIE

  19. Jeff says:

The LAST movie Redford that was worth watching was The Sting. I’d like to see a TV match between Planet of the Apes on one station, and Careys “best” movie on the other and see which has the most viewers.

  20. dan says:

LMOAO….Carey would loose with anything versus Planet of the Apes
…from my cold dead hands…you damned dirty apes

  21. TED says:

Seen that movie (didn’t know he was in it), seen it for FREE anyway. He played his typical a$$wipe role as usual. Can’t stand the guy!

  22. Joe says:

    James Whale says:
The Truman Show – So good you cannot believe that Carrey is in it.

I’d say it good DESPITE carey being in it. Other than that, most of his stuff is sophmoric junk.

  23. Tax Slave says:

“The Truman Show” would have been a good theme for a half-hour Twilight Zone episode but not for a 2-hour movie.

“Man on the Moon” was more about Andy Kaufman that Jim Carey, but then, as Andy the true Buddhist believed, everything is an illusion.

    Truman Show is gnostic propaganda.
Check out this exposé of it, very enlightening:
