Dennis Kucinich’s Career Crashes

Bwahaha! Former Boy Mayor of the Mistake by the Lake, Dennis Kucinich, among the screechiest voices of the Hard Left, landed hard on his face in a primary vote last night. Despite desperate suggestions of a move from Ohio to Washington State, it looks like his career as a congresscritter is kaput:

With most attention focused on the state’s GOP presidential primary battle, and no Democratic primary for president, Kucinich was left in a low-turnout race in a newly drawn district against his once-close ally, Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio).

With about 90 percent of the vote in, Kaptur led 60 to 36 percent.

What a blowout.

Lowlights from Kucinich’s clownish career include the forced sale of Cleveland’s electric plant when he was mayor, and a farcical attempt to impeach Vice President Cheney for frightening liberals in 2007. Other lowlights:

Suing because he found an olive pit in his salad at the congressional cafeteria.
• Receiving marching orders from UFOs.
Voting against a resolution honoring the victims of 9/11.
• Receiving an endorsement from ultra-left Hollyweird weenie Viggo Mortensen.
Praising Syrian dictator Bashar Assad while snubbing US troops.
• Trying to cut off funding to those troops.
• Sucking up $3 million of OUR MONEY for his quixotic 2004 presidential campaign.

Et cetera, ad nauseam.

Bye Dennis. Thanks for the laughs. Thanks also for making the commies at MSNBC cry.

He can always ask his friends to help him move to a new district in a different galactic quadrant.

I think Dennis would make a great ambassador to Klingon Empire – their women would toughen him up and make a real man of him.

Wasn’t he the one that vowed not to support Obamacare only to change his mind after an Airforce One ride with the O?

  6. Winston Smith says:

I wonder what really happened to Dennis The Menace on AirFarce One? Wonder if he had to bend over and take medicine? Or maybe he was replaced with a Nexus 6 Replicant version of himself programmed to vote for ObamaScare?

This guy is a dirtbag…………..was forced to shake his hand once when I was in Ohio. Ever hold a mackrel in your hand? His wife looks sort of hot………she blind?

J, once again cites from what he apparently regards as an unimpeachable source – weasel zippers @8:30.

As the Associated Press noted in an article on the same topic, Obama still won 57% of the vote.

Oklahoma earned the nickname “reddest of the red” states after Obama’s failed to win a single county in the 2008 presidential race.

Maybe Dennis and Robert 4th Reich can start a little peoples clothing store chain. They would giants among their people.

u forgot to mention Kucinich’s biggest ally and like-minded moonbat, Ron Paul, who also considers him a potential cabinet in any future Paulinian Admin-festation.

Of course the other good news for the right re this story is that the Republican challenger for this seat will be…

    (drum roll)

    Joe The Plumber!!

  15. StanInTexas says:

Yes, Lao, having a REAL American run for the seat IS good news.

    Thanks for noticing!

Thank the Merchant of Venom for posting this one. It’s big news in Ohio where he had such a following of mindless zombies in the Cleveland area. Now he can spend more time searching for UFOs with Shirley McClain, godmother to his daughter R2D2. Better yet, he can run as an independent against Obama.

“Joe the Plumber,” almost lost his House bid to an obscure auctioneer named Steve Kraus — when the dust settled, Wurzelbacher escaped with a narrow 51 to 48 percent victory.

To say Kraus was underfunded would be an understatement: Through the middle of last month, Kraus had raised and spent less than $10,000 — a pittance in the world of modern-day congressional campaigns. Wurzelbacher, by contrast, raised and spent over $60,000.

Wurzelbacher hasn’t exactly been embraced by the Republican establishment, largely because GOP officials regard the northeastern Ohio-based 9th District as tilting heavily Democratic and an unlikely November pickup. The National Republican Congressional Committee hasn’t bothered to add Wurzelbacher to its “Young Guns” program for top recruits. After Kaptur beat Kucinich, “Joe the Plumber” will now face the veteran Democrat in the fall.

On the campaign trail, Kraus embraced the tea-party mantle, railing against federal spending and the ballooning national debt.

Asked why he thought he fared strongly, Kraus seemed to suggest that voters took him more seriously than they took Wurzelbacher.

“I think people are looking for substance,” he said.

I was going to play the world’s smallest violin for him, but really, it’s too much effort for this leftist SOB.

It would also be good for Republicans if Kucinich kept his seat and his media exposure.
