For the Sequester Before He Was Against It

The purpose of the ballyhooed sequester is not to reduce the runaway government spending that has become an existential threat to our nation. The “cuts” constitute a slight reduction in the explosive rate of government growth that hardly amounts to a drop in the ocean, even as a tidal wave of debt rises up to wash away the economy. The purpose was to set up Republicans for outlandishly dishonest demagogic rhetoric that would result in raucous laughter if the “mainstream” media didn’t keep low-information voters lined up behind Obama:

Regressives listened only to his voice and adored him. Conservatives listened his WORDS and understood him.

Are we allowed to call Barack Obama a lying piece of shit here? I’m not calling him that, mind you, I’m just asking if it’s allowed…

I can’t believe all the bitching and moaning about this sequester issue.
    1. It is a cut in the increase of spending, not an actual cut in spending.
    2. Out of a 3,550 billion dollar budget, it is 80 billion total (as memory serves…the actual dollar values are different but in the ballpark).
    3. It means that the government will have to live on a smaller increase, not a decrease.
    4. If I went to my boss and whined and moaned about not getting a raise next year, I suspect that Mrs. Sympathy would fire me.
    5. All this talk about teachers, police, and firemen being fired is silly. Why are any of those people supported with federal tax dollars, anyway?

    Cry me a river.

This is America. You should be able to call Dear Leader a lying piece of shit if you so wish. However your first amendment rights aren’t unlimited. Dear Leader should be able to sue you for libel if you call him a lying piece of shit and he is not, in fact, a lying piece of shit.

So let’s examine the evidence. First, has Dear Leader lied? Some would contend that, as an attorney, every time he opens his mouth he is lying. Same thing goes for politicians. But that isn’t good enough. Has he lied about specific issues? Well the video seems to provide evidence that he has lied about the sequester issue. There is also evidence that he lied about being on top of the Benghazi situation when, in reality, he went to bed. He also lied about calling it a terrorist attack, when he, instead, was calling it a spontaneous reaction to a video. (BTW, the video maker is still in prison, last I heard).

The birth certificate still posted at is a crude forgery. So he lied about it being an actual birth certificate.

He also lied about not raising taxes on anyone making less than $250,000. Every buy a pack of smokes? The increased cost is a Dear Leader tax increase. Going to have to buy health insurance? That, too, is a Dear Leader tax increase.

So the evidence is pretty strong. Dear Leader lies.

So lets examine the second part of the claim. Is Dear Leader a piece of shit. The color is about right. Flies are attracted to Dear Leader, but flies are also attracted to dead bodies. He’s pretty big. I’m not sure there is conclusive evidence that Dear Leader is actually a piece of shit.

I think it might be interesting to further examine the evidence one way or another.
