GQ Names Anti-American Colin Kaepernick “Citizen of the Year”

If a single moonbat is synonymous with anti-Americanism in the year 2017, it is Colin Kaepernick, the washed-up football player who managed to cripple the NFL by encouraging players to make belligerent pageants of their unpatriotic attitudes. Kaepernick has denounced the Land of Free for imposing “systematic oppression” and skulked off to Africa to demonstrate his contempt for the Fourth of July. The Colin Kaepernick Foundation is so extreme in its anti-Americanism that it donated $25,000 to Assata’s Daughters, a “resistance organization” honoring Assata Shakur, a communist cop-killer harbored by the hostile government of Cuba. So naturally he is granted awards by fellow leftists ever digging for a new low:

GQ magazine has named former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick its “Citizen of the Year” amid ongoing controversy surrounding players kneeling during the national anthem. …

The magazine compared Kaepernick’s protest to Muhammad Ali’s stand against the Vietnam War.

Muhammad Ali was drafted during the war and refused to serve on the grounds that he preferred communist Vietnam to America:

“My conscience won’t let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America. And shoot them for what? They never called me nigger, they never lynched me, they didn’t put no dogs on me, they didn’t rob me of my nationality, rape and kill my mother and father…”

Ali also preferred making a fortune in sports to risking his life for his country. Absurdly yet predictably, liberals praised his courage — just as they would do if Kaepernick were drafted, since he would be certain to noisily side with the enemy and refuse to serve, just like “The Greatest” did.

Giving a citizenship award to Colin Kaepernick is the equivalent of giving a Bronze Star to Muhammad Ali, or a journalism award to GQ, home of Keith Olbermann.

Somebody please Photoshop Kaepernick’s fake ‘fro wig off and replace it with an Arab headdress. I’d do it, but I don’t know Photoshop that well.

G.Q., what the hell is that? The only GQ I pay attention to is the General Quarters alarm.

In the past, problems of racial inequality and pollution were identifiable and were usually able to be addressed with some effect. Doing away with segregated facilities and adding scrubbers to coal fired power plants, for example.

The new problems are intractable. There’s no way to fix them. “systemic oppression” “institutional racism” “climate change” can’t be touched through individual or even collective action. They are amorphous yet ubiquitous at the same time. It’s intentional, of course. Leftists got tired of seeing their grievances addressed because having the grievances was the whole point.

So here we are, with unfixable “problems” that are really just anti-white racism and anti-capitalism dressed up in academic-sounding language.

So when anyone talks to be about “systemic racism” or any of it’s variants, they’re really objecting to my existence. Nothing I can do to fix it, yet I’m being blamed for it because of being born a white male. It’s a cancerous ideology and should be treated accordingly.

“citizen”?? A true citizen would salute the flag and stand for the anthem to show their respect for the ideals for which they stand. America is not perfect but it a heck of a lot better then most anything else. We’ve been constantly working to improve the lot in life for ALL Americans.

  7. BPatMann says:

GQ? Do they still print it? I’ve only seen it at dentists’ offices.

Kaepernick social media posts laud Black Lives Matter, Black Panthers since
dating Muslim activist DJ | Fox News

NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s conversion to social activism coincided
with his romancing of a hip hop DJ of Egyptian descent who has frequently spoken
about perceived racial injustices and “Islamaphobia” in the U.S.

Kaepernick, 28, who has come under fire for his decision to remain seated
during the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner before San Francisco 49ers games,
reportedly began dating Hot 97 DJ and MTV host Nessa Diab in July 2015. A few
months later, his social media posts began to reflect the Black Lives Matter and
    Muslim activism of Diab.

“History!” Kaepernick wrote on Instagram Oct. 15, when he marked 50 years since the
    Black Panther Party was founded.

31 of his last 42 posts have strong social justice connotations, often
featuring quotes from radical Nation of Islam leader Malcolm X, Black Panthers
founder Huey Newton and cop killer Assata Shakur. During a Sunday news
conference about the flag flap, Kaepernick dressed in a black hat with a large,
white “X” and a T-shirt that featured photos of Cuban despot Fidel Castro and
    Malcolm X

Nessa Diab’s Twitter and Instagram account is a mish-mash of black
activism, celebrity pics and the occasional defense of Islam. She frequently
retweets Black Lives Matter supporter and newspaper columnist Shaun King on race-related issues.

Diab said in a March 2014 interview that she spent many of
her formative years in Saudi Arabia, after her dad was transferred there from a
    job in California.

As I recall, Tillman fought in Iraq. He was then to go on leave to the US before deployment in Afghanistan. On leave, Tillman had radio talk show dates scheduled where he was going to share his concerns over the way the war in Iraq was being carried out. So instead of letting him take his leave, the US sent him straight to Afghanistan where he was killed by “friendly fire” (assassinated). Then the US lied to his family surrounding the circumstances of his death.
Our governments’ wars are all about money and power and have nothing at all to do with our security.
“War is a racket”, – USMC Major General Butler

  17. Bob says:

Ali would have never seen battle. These wars our government carry out are all money-making schemes to enrich the defense contractors and bankrupt our nation of its riches and best young men and women.
