High-Brow Rag Hits New Low

The Atlantic is a bastion of the liberal establishment that competes with the New Yorker for insufferably pompous elitism. Yet it puts online crap like this:

The top graphic is from some lame skit on Comedy Central. The bottom is an obvious Photoshop. Atlantic writer Dave Chappelle protects himself from charges of spreading false information by writing,

How much of this illustration, now zooming around the Internet, is actually “true”? I don’t know.

Actually, he did know, unless he is an idiot. Not only is the Photoshop font conspicuously wrong, the Election HQ logo obviously doesn’t fit with an odd number year. But he’s still smarter than anyone who watches Fox News, and so are all his readers, as I’m sure he would be glad to tell you.

On a tip from The MaryHunter.

yeah I’ve seen this going around. Mind you, a complete gloss over of the CNN host asking Bill Nye if the asteroid that was going to make a close pass may be caused by global warming.

Yup, everyone knows FOX (or is it Fixed “Faux” Noise?) uses plain ol’ 12-pt. arial font for all their captions.

    W. Bush raised the gas prices, shrank the paychecks, caused global warming and sent the meteor with his hurricane driving devices because he hates black people!

Geez, once upon a time I subscribed to The Atlantic, even had a Letter to the Editor published therein. Can’t remember when I last lowered myself to peek into it’s yellow leftist pages.

How much did FDR know about PEARL HARBOR in advance?

  7. Adam says:

I never liked “Chappelle’s Show” at all. Everyone was raving about it back then, but I just saw it as unfunny, uncreative, incredibly racist garbage.

Immediately what I thought! The left takes what was an embarrassment for them, and twists it into a joke against the right.

They are masters of propaganda! Goebels would buy them a drink.

I remember hearing jokes about black Presidents and disasters a LONG time before the current disaster was sitting in the White House. Remember “Deep Impact?” That’s just one movie I can think of where some disaster came to destroy the earth, and the movie President was black.

Back in the 50s they made this classical Sci Fi movie WHEN WORLDS COLIDE its about the earth on collision course with a run away planet and building a giant space ship to carry some people to another planet
