House Puts Up No Resistance to Obama Agenda

Don’t worry about Democrats taking over the House in 2014 so that Obama can finish ramming his extreme agenda down our throats. Obama won’t tone down his radicalism enough to make that possible. Why should he, so long as Boehner et al. are putting up no resistance?

Not only have Republicans capitulated on taxes by violating their no tax pledge, Republican leaders have now announced that they are capitulating on spending as well, by violating the “Boehner rule.”

In the 2011 debt-limit standoff, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) established the Boehner rule, declaring that henceforth Republicans would insist on at least one dollar in spending cuts for every dollar in debt limit increase. This may have been one of the most important fiscal policy innovations in a generation. The rule is simple, it is perfectly reasonable, and it is broadly popular. A recent poll found that 72 percent of Americans agreed that “Any increase in the debt limit must be accompanied by spending cuts and reforms of a greater amount.” Only 22 percent disagreed.

The Boehner rule is not a gimmick, but an approach that could actually restore fiscal sanity before the economy crashes and burns. In contrast, this is a gimmick:

House Republicans have already announced that they will violate the principle they established, and pass a three-month debt-limit increase this week without any spending cuts. Instead of cuts, the GOP will insist that the House and Senate pass formal budgets by April, or else forgo their Congressional pay. “The principle is simple: no budget, no pay,” Boehner declared.

Here’s an even simpler principle: do everything in your power to stop Obama before the damage is irreparable, or get primaried. If the GOP refuses to put up effective resistance to encroaching socialism, it serves no purpose.

The real Boehner rule: capitulate, then cry.

Atta boy ballin’ Boehner. You’ll be known as the worst Speaker in the modern era.

    NOW do you believe me???

I’ve been saying for years that the Republicans are in on it.

    And here:

They’re just a bunch of paid professional losers. They don’t fight back because they get a cut of all tax increases, which they can spend to buy more votes and keep themselves in their cushy jobs.

The only way to fix this is to create a Replacement Second Party for the next election. We need to launch something that will remove all members of the GOP and replace them with leaders who will wrest control away from the Democrats.

Because we sure as hell aren’t going to get a fight from the GOP. Considering the last professional loser they put up as a candidate (, things will only get worse if we let them continue.

I caught hell in here last year for saying the Republicans for the most part have sold their souls…

  4. It took awhile, but the man was finally asked by police to leave the crowning ceremony on Monday
““I first noticed the distress flag maybe a half hour before he was asked to leave- I am going to estimate about 0930, my picture files have time I transferred them, not the time I took them.

I tried to get closer to him, but the crowd was too thick. We were in the second tranche of the non-ticketed area, you can see the National Museum of the American Indian behind him as he is being escorted way, for reference….”

Boehner should be committed to a home for the pathetically weak and incompetent. But not alone. Personally, i blame him and the other gutless empty suites at the top of the republican party for Obummer’s election and reelection, and the Left’s rabid devouring of the country. it is their weakness that fuels the Left’s aggression.

They know we have NO alternative and have deserted the American people totally. The Tea Party is our only hope.

    1) A group of D.C. Beltway insiders who have elevated ‘snatching defeat from the jaws of victory’ to an art form, by fielding the worst possible candidate at the worst possible time.

    2) A political organization whose leadership is so steeped in self-defeating ineptitude that they make a clown posse look like icons of organizational prowess.

    Woo Hoo!!

The cartoonist forgot to enter ‘Obama’ underneath ‘Ebola Virus’.

Though I think ‘herpes’ and ‘Hillary’ should also have been included on that list.

Boys and girls, forget the seat-belts at this point, it makes no sense to even bother with them at the speed we are going off of the cliff in this country. Just enjoy the ride down, it’s the sudden stop that is the problem- somewhere around $30 Trillion in debt which will be right around 2016, sooner if they start serving Flavor Aid from kegs..

I was warning of this 4 years ago, he’s fermented now, and considered by many of the sheep on the right- as our “last hope”. When the wimpy royal opposition finally replaces him it will be with someone worse.
Goldwater and Reagan were opposition, all we have today are footnotes for the index in a history book rewritten by todays communists.
